Awesome
Great app, only if it had more colors, I use mainly the pizza box or toilet paper, with the button or cat. All of them are great. I’ve had it for a few years now. 🙂♥️
What
Used this back in the day. Now have to pay nine dollars to access my old notes???? Insane.
This is a Paid App…
With a 7 day free trial, Nothing after that. Nothing. Can’t even edit your own notes. Meanwhile, the App Store has a ad-like image stating that there is an in-app purchase, limited free trial is not mentioned. To find that info you must scroll way down the list of app features, the 16th of 17 entries tells you that it is a 7 day free trial. They say they DoNot collect your information, that’s appreciated and has become a necessary feature. It’s a 5-Star app with a subpar 3-Star listing. If you’re into paid apps, especially ones that don’t collect your personal info, it’s worth a 1-time $9 fee, but the App Store listing is unclear, knocked off a star for wasting my time and making me hunt for info. I’ll give back that star when Apple fixes the listing.
Used for years
App was great until they started changing for it.
Not working
All of a sudden my widgets are white and blank on my Home Screen. The app doesn’t need to be updated and every other app widget on my phone works. What’s going on????
perfectly simple
not fancy but perfect for my needs. been using on android but now ios. love it
Had for years now they want money not due to them.
$8.99? Deleted
I haven’t had it for that long so
I like this app, but I haven’t had it for too long so like I just got it today I’m only giving it four stars because I feel like it could do more also when I got it, I noticed a you get a seven day free trial and I don’t understand like if I’m gonna have to delete it in seven days then I’m gonna delete it and then put a lower staring thing because I’m just a kid and I don’t have money on a phone I barely have money that’s paper and coins Why would I have money on a phone?$̲̅(̲̅ιοο̲̅)̲̅$̲̅]
Do Not Have Crossplatform Compatibility as Advertised :(
I purchased the full version of this app to share all my notes between my phone tablet and laptop however it does not share the notes between devices as advertised. All notes crossed over at the initial purchase but have since to continue doing so once I made new notes and deleted others. I've tried trouble shooting multiple times from double checking a shared network to making sure both devices were updated to the same IOS. No matter how many times you select the icloud refresh buttons the notes do not cross over or refresh across each devise. The price is fair and overall function of the app is great however the main reason for purchasing this app for me was the cross platform compatibility which does not work. Major bummer but hopefully this will get fixed eventually I stopped using the app a while back because of this issue and returned to it only recently to discover it still has not been resolved.
Looks nice.
This app looks nice. I started writing a note with my Apple Pencil and immediately realized I couldn’t find a way to erase the mistake. I made. Don’t know if it’s there and I just missed it or if this is a omission or only available as a premium feature but erasing is a pretty important for handwriting notes.
Helps with memory loss!
I’m a disabled vet with memory loss help a lot! The only problem I have with it is I can’t figure out how to delete a folder when I make a new one. Great program for anybody who has problems with a memory. Paid for and just to help them out. Glad I did well worth the money.
UNINTUITIVE
Unfortunately, there are no instructions and I cannot find a way to add a note to my home screen. I need a note App that I can pin to my home screen for reminders.
Good App / Annoying Shortcomings
I want to start this review by saying i like this app. I do not regret buying the full version, but sure wish the developer would fix some annoying issues. This app gets very few updates, so if you are considering purchasing this app see below. I have used the paid version of this app for 2 years. I take quick handwritten reminder notes on my iPad mini 6 and have them displayed in widgets on my iPhone. They all sync pretty nicely between devices. I love the widget where i can display 4 post it notes at once. Things that are annoying. 1) You cannot use any of the Apple Pencil features in this app. I cannot tap on my Apple Pencil to get the eraser and tap again to go to pen. I cant even circle a word and move it over on a sticky note. 2) The note resolutions change depending on which device i am using. So if i create a reminder sticky note on my iPad it looks perfect, but when i go to check it off on my iPhone with my finger the handwritten notes changes resolution and the words save that way. So in the widget i will have 3 uncompleted notes look perfect and the one i checked off on the iPhone look insanely bad. If these two issues were fixed you’d have the best post it note app in the APP Store. I’ve tried most of them.
Notes
The free trial ended wish it didn’t
I used to love this app
Since it was updated it is not as easy to use. I just want to see the note on my Home Screen. Now I must tap it first and wade through other notes to use it. In the screen it is blank.
Simple and easy sticky notes app
Simple and easy sticky notes app
Would give it zero stars if I could
Have had this app for years, then it changed to requesting a fee. Might make sense for new users, but it’s ridiculous for long term users. Definitely deleting the app now.
Horrible
I’m not paying for a services that it was free for long time & doesn’t really do anything than write on stick notes with basic font
You have to buy to use
Honestly, they should’ve just set the price of the features the price of the app overall. I’d say the app works well and it’s helpful for what it’s used for - it’s cute and the widgets are nice. BUT. Just got a notification today that I can no longer utilize the app until I pay $8.99??? It says I was on some free trial but I’ve had this app for ages and I don’t remember any notification of when this would be up. Big bummer that I have to figure out a new app, but it’s whatever. On to the next.
Sticky Notes
I’ve had this app forever. Its a pretty basic sticky note app but that’s what I initially liked about it. The notes range from bright and fun to home and office. For my purposes it’s missing one thing. The ability to add a picture or file. This missing option to add is what keeps me using and looking for something else.
Sticky Notes
If you add 6+ screens to the iPad it is impossible to add folder¬e widget combination widget. To multiple screens @the sometime. Because it just copy’s the same folder¬e. To all multiple screens on the iPad. I tried it and I can only add one widget, not multiple same widget; without having someconflict on the multiple screens view on the iPad. I hope the developer of the app can upgrade. Although, I did purchase the full app. It’s a great note taking app. Definitely worth keeping your life organized.
Pro is now the only option???
I downloaded the free version of Sticky Notes on March 19, 2018. The basic app was all I needed and has worked great since that time, so I never upgraded to the pro version. All of a sudden I get a notice that my “trial” (of over 6 years) has ended and I can’t do anything without buying the full pro version. Which is it, glitch or scam? (Hint, it’s a binary choice-if it isn’t one, it’s the other.)
I agree
I agree adding pictures to a note or files
Pay?
I have used this app for a LONG time. Love it! … LovED it. :/ Why is it suddenly telling me I have to pay for it? Now I have to find something else. :(
It’s cool but
It’s a cool app that you can put your notes on but I still Don’t know how to put the notes on my home screen it doesn’t show like nothing like no writing to help you know how to put the notes on your home screen, so if anybody knows how to do it please tell me
Nice app to use.
I’ve tried lots of notes apps to help me sort things I need in a basic but helpful way, none compared to this app including apples notes app. The only downside is that you don’t have lots of tools to edit or shape your notes app how you need it to be even if you buy the full app like me.
Not free
Was a great app until they started charging. I have had this app for many years
issue with the Pro version fixed
I had an issue with pro version not updating on second Apple device but resolved now. If it happens search on second tech item and press Restore in settings and in the app to update, app working well. Its fun and cool app to use. I messaged the developer from inside the app-and they responded quickly, cheers from Canada
Necessary
Being able to reset the password for the notes should be an option and it is not. For an app this simple I believe that should have already been an option, so that’s a bit disappointing to see.
This used to be my favorite app until recently…
I love this and started recommending this app to my friends and colleagues. Even bought the in-app purchase to get more colors but afterwards I realized the widget feature is not working anymore. I sent an email request to look into it, hopefully I could hear back from the team.
Excellent, Efficient, Great Planner
I have tried many similar apps but none come close to this. A feature I would like, and keep looking for in other apps, is the option to include photos the the backgrounds. Other apps offer this feature but lack the organizing capability of this. I use this daily to plan my day and organize projects.
Bye
Now there’s a few, to type a note and save it? Absolutely not. Been using this app for years and will be deleting it today.
Great but…..
When I download this app, I have created my first sticky note and I tried to make it as a widget but it didn’t work, can the developer explain how to do it? I hope you can see this review.
What happened to two way.
Used several years and now it won’t slide over to landscape correctly. Can’t use it this way. Sorry fix or count me out
Full page widget
Like the app for basic functionality but I would really like to see a widget that allows one more to cover a full screen. Some notes are longer and I would like to see the full note without having to open the app.
Just what I needed
This works so well. I can change which note I wanna see and even scribble on the notepad. I will say though, I didn't find the transparency of the note to change when I changed it in-app. And there are limited colors. Other than that, this is exactly what I needed!
I wish you could get a return
Does nothing like it said it would. Really disappointed I lost 25 dollars.
Noted
I would like to be able to type just on the stick note with out having to open the app.
Used to be free but greed is a biccch
I used to love this app because you could access all of the different sticky notes and pins. Now they only have one design and like 5 colors to choose from. Robbed the app of all the fun unless I pay 6 bucks after having all the features for years for free. Nope, sorry, I used to love this app, but I’m not gonna pay for something that I had for free?
It’s kind of a good app
I don’t like when I write words like akim and it doesn’t say it’s wrong at first but when I rewrite it it’s wrong or erase it to put somewhere else it say it’s wrong. And I see pencil marks on my note but I can’t erase it.
Better than iOS
I deleted it for about a month or so because I was going to start using iOS on everything. I couldn’t do it anymore so I’m reinstalling. I have the paid version because it syncs on multiple devices and that is something I need. Anyways, I absolutely love the app and completely recommend. Some things I love: that you create widgets for a specific note and have the option of making the widget huge so that you can see things without needing to click on it. iOS only has a small widget and you can only see a few words on it. It syncs to all devices You can color code them. I use this so I can visually see how important a task is. If it’s in the red note it needs to be done today and so on.
Not impressed anymore
I purchased this app cause it was kinda’ cool and had varieties, but it does not function like it used to anymore and it takes forever to load. It also freezes and crashes a lot. I will trade this for a better one in an instant if I can get my money back. I’m not happy so I hardly use it now... waste of money.
Great App! Very cute but scary…
The app is so great and very convenient . Except it keeps translating some of my notes into this creepy Latin text. Nam liber te conscient to factor tum poen legum odioque civiuda.” This is it translating : “ Let the pain be very painful, and it will be followed by the loss of the hair of the cattle; For to come to the smallest detail, no one should practice any kind of work unless he derives some benefit from it. Do not be angry with the pain in the rebuke, in the pleasure he wants to be a hair from the pain, let him run away from the pain. Unless they are blinded by lust, they do not come out; they are in fault who abandon their duties and soften their hearts, that is toil. For the book makes you conscientious to be a maker of laws and hatred of citizens.” I dont know if this is a me problem or the app problem. I also wonder if anyone else is experiencing this.
Yeseniaggg
I like the app however I get random sticky notes in layin as well. It’s the same one that is Yeseniaggg posted about and have received a 2nd one in Latin saying something different now. Would like the developers response to this
I like it but….
There appears to be on/off communication between the app on my iPad and the app on my iPhone. I would expect this to be a basic feature.
Colors
I really enjoy this app better then iOS notes. Wish there was an option to spectrum color choose for basic notes though. Keep up the great job!
Payed for pro doesn’t work
I paid for the pro version so that I could sync between my phone iPad, and Mac. The app syncs between my iPhone and iPad but not my Mac to frustrating.
Amazing app
I love this app so much I check it every day. This app is so good that I think it could beat TIKTOK. it’s a very organized app and lets you pick colors for your sticky notes.but I hate it when it makes you hit the check mark to save the note because when I am typing something important and forget to hit the check mark and then it won’t save and I forget to do it the next day.So if the creators could update it that would be great and I will give it five stars
Perfect except for Apple Pencil problems
This app is exactly what I was working for, but unfortunately I’m having problems using the Apple Pencil. I prefer to hand write rather than use text. Initially it worked great, then I noticed my writing started having sharp edges, rather than the round ones I write and it looked weird but was readable. It’s just gotten worse though and now it doesn’t read half my strokes. The pencil is working fine in multiple other apps. Would love to find a solution.
I like it, but...
It’s a good app, it does not have palm reject. When using on my iPad with my Apple Pencil, I cannot rest my hand on it because it marks up the note and interferes with my notes. Can this be fixed?
