But if you subscribe via Apple it’s very buggy. It’s also cheaper to subscribe via Zinio, so a no brainer.
Another leftist soapbox
Yet another foreign run leftist news app that displays all the leftist lies and rhetoric because they have severe TDS just like everyone else who do not like facts or search for facts on their own. They just watch the leftist news and get half the story and react in kind, just like the people in the videos. When the truth comes out, like the Russia hoax and everything else that has been made public, no apologies are made and they trounce on the next attack towards the president and the US. I won’t be renewing my subscription to this foreign hack of an app. I’m tired of president and US hate being made front and center as articles and magazines they promote, because their developer is nothing more than a leftist hack suffering from severe TDS themselves who have drank the leftist lies kool-aid. All these online magazine apps are run by foreign US haters who do nothing but whine and cry how another leader in another country is running things. How about focusing on your own country and stay out of our business? You don’t live here so therefore you have no opinions that matter. For us on your “kings” and prime ministers and whatever else you think your little tawdry country needs and don’t set foot on our soil if you hate us so much.
Great but flawed
Amazing solution for readers like me who wants to go through a few publications every month. Downside is how the UX part misses certain things. I leave my app, come back in the morning and it is showing the main screen, forcing me to remember what I was reading and where. Zoom function is also quirky. All in all, though, I am happy
Struggling with blank screen
I’ve had to uninstall and reinstall several times because sporadically the screens are blank when I open the app. The fixes support suggest don’t seem to work.
No están todas, tiene varias.
No tiene todas la que revistas tal cual , pero tiene varias. Algo que no me gusto es que muestra la versión web únicamente, no permite pdf, al menos en el telefono. Y eso le quita un poco de atractivo.
Lots More Bang For Your Buck!
The iOS App works flawlessly! The sheer volume of magazines makes it a steal for the monthly price they charge. Normally, I purchase a subscription from two or three of my favorite magazines where my true interest lies, but for the same price, with this app I get those same magazines, plus hundreds more in the same area of interest. And on top of this I get to explore many more areas of interest that I would have never subscribed to. I look forward to hours of reading fresh articles every month.
Horrible on iPhone 17 Pro Max
When not in PDF view, there is absolutely ZERO control over text size. The slider is useless !
Some Technical Problems
This didn’t work initially at all on my iPad or iPhone. I started the free trial, and when I tried to view any magazine it just kept telling me there were problems and to try again later. It then invited me to subscribe again. I hit the subscribe button, it then told me I’m already subscribed, then went back to telling me to try again later. It just looped around the same problems continuously. *UPDATE* Zinio support did get this working for me after I contacted them - they had to reset the free trial, so I’ve now updated the rating.
App doesn’t open 2/3 of the time
Good app when it works. Lots of variety and choices. Unfortunately more often the night doesn’t launch.
Buena aplicación, catálogo de revistas muy pobre
Estoy probando el mes gratuito que ofrecen. La aplicación funciona estupendamente, va muy fluida y tiene una opción para adaptar el formato de la revista al tamaño de la pantalla. Como punto negativo, destaca el pobre catálogo de revistas españolas que ofrecen, la mayoría son extranjeras, en otros idiomas o de habla hispana procedentes de paises latinoamericanos. Si mejoraran el catálogo no dudaría en continuar con la subscripción.
Forget Apple Version !
I have tried all of the Mag apps. This is the best. 8.99 direct enroll is also best deal. Go directly to their web site NOT via Apple.
Doesn’t work when subscription renewed
Every time I renew my subscription I have to contact support to get them to manually renew it because I can’t read the magazines. It keeps asking for payment. Had enough, switching to Magzster. Fix your app issue.
Can not go back to change magazine !
It fantastic app for magazine , I am long time user of ZINIO. But recently after iOS 11 .I found an bug for ipad version. “You can. To go back to home screen after selecting and start reading a magazine.I always have to close app then relaunch to do that.”please fix it
Great app when working 2
I Have the same issue as a previous reviewer. I have been unable to get the app to work for the last 2 months. Even removing and reinstalling as well as restore purchases has not worked. I have used this app for the last 12 months with no issue but it started occurring during the last couple of months so something needs to be done. I will be deleting the app and removing my subscription if it is not resolved in the next 2 weeks.
The only option for magazines
Seriously it has everything all conveniently readable on your mobile device or whatever device you may enjoy I’m talking people, magazine, to barely legal and everything in between even good housekeeping I mean, God is there anything they don’t have I don’t think so. I’ve been looking for a minute now and haven’t come across anything cell. I’d say this is the way to go not to mention the cheap price only cost about two magazines maybe one nowadays and you get 50,000 check it out I dare you cause I bet you won’t delete the app!

Apples News+ probably has a better selection and interface. Zinio is just packed full of old and low tier magazines. The developers promised a huge update but it turned out to just be a new logo and app icon lol. Cya later
Best mag app yet
Huge magazine fan since a kid. From going to the magazine shops, which I do still just because I love a fresh mag. I do have to say this is the best app yet. The best layout and best variety and the price can’t be beat. The only thing I wish they would do is add the page flipping animations, then it’ll be 100 percent.

Like everyone else, subs come out every month without fail. Access to content however - consistently says sub has expired. Give this one a miss.
Great App when Working
Maybe my favourite app when it’s working. Unfortunately the app seems to loose its validation link and thinks I don’t have a subscription when I do. Currently working through re installing and re authenticating for a third time in 12 months. The suggestion would be to get the technical support crew to use the app and understand the frustration. It’s time to investigate if there is other options. Regrettably.
The Best Out There
Seriously. There are several online magazine aggregators around now and I've tried most of them. Many have second rate content, knock off titles etc. For me, Zinio Unlimited was like discovering a treasure trove - the best titles, ones I'm actually interested in, and subscribing to even just one of them separately would cost me as much or more as *one month* of Zinio Unlimited with immediate access to literally 1000's! My only quibble is I wish there was more German content, so I still subscribe to Readly (also pretty good btw, especially for my German magazines not on Zinio) Anyway, 5 stars - love it!
Average unstable access
The app has a good range of magazines but frankly I got tired of being told that I had to renew my subscription when ZINIO had already taken the monthly subscription. Very good at collecting the subscription, not so good at providing consistent access, and as you can see from other reviews I’m not the only one. Also the fact that even though you download a magazine to your device, you still need to be online to begin to read something that was previously “downloaded”. One star may seem harsh but if you can’t consistently provide a service someone has paid for really you don’t deserve any stars, it’s not like you’ll refund me for the multitude of times you didn’t provide what was paid for and why should I continually have to advise customer service of issues with your product which, as I said previously noted, others have also notified you of.
App crashes constantly
Every time I try to open it on iPad or iPhone the all crashes/ closes. Never used to do this
Subscription problem
Each month my subscription renews, but each month I have to contact ZINIO to get it working again. This month after a couple of attempts to get them resolve the issue, still not fixed, and my subscription is paid in full. Very unreliable.
Not able to manage subscription
I can’t see any subscription on the apple subscription page, but I have been charged monthly subscription for 4 months. Now don’t know where I can cancel it!
Very unreliable
I use this app to read my mags whilst travelling yet it regularly fails when I actually need it. The app just keeps shutting down. Very frustrating....
Worth it
I am overwhelmed with choice! It’s fantastic, thank you! I do wish I could send snippets or just single articles without having the other person have to sign up. If there is a way to do this, please let me know. Otherwise, brilliant, I have read so much fantastic information already and there is so much more that I can’t wait to read. Thank you.
ALL pages go blank. Please fix
Once you've activated the text mode in an issue, the PDF version of each page no longer works but go completely blank (it only works on first page upon opening, then stops working completely) No, removing the issues doesn’t fix it, even reinstalling the app doesn’t work either. This is absolutely ridiculous.
Should be 4-5 stars
The price is right, the range of magazines available is really pretty good. The reading experience is ok, I wish they were better formatted for screen reading (i.e. like a responsive website would be), but I can live with it. So I would give it at least 4 stars, possibly even 5. But as many others have pointed out, it is SO slow to download the magazine thumbnails. I just did a test and I’ve now been waiting for 5 minutes and still all the magazines on the front page haven’t loaded, which is ridiculous. There is definitely something wrong with the app (I have 35mbps internet so it isn’t related to internet speed) and I hope it gets fixed soon otherwise I may have to cancel my subscription.
Subscription not recognised
My subscription has stopped being recognised I would also like to see sorting option in the search categories so that new magazines are at the top instead of scrolling through the different magazines to find new ones
Not working again
As lots of people have said…. Once again I can’t access magazines despite having an active subscription. Happens every month. Needs to be fixed. Support request sent agin
This could be really good.
But the library needs to be increased. Also found the UI annoying as I had to exit the app to return to the main store page.
App crashes shortly after opening
Just recently app is constantly crashing soon after opening. Disappointing as have many mags in library. Previously no problems.
Waste of money shonky
I can never read any magazines the app always has glitches and I’m paying for something I’m not getting have tried the help desk and they have said I don’t have a subscription but apple iTunes charges me every month so what’s that about I have evidence I do! Terrible app don’t waste ur money very angry.
Okay Selection, Very Buggy
Selection is good for what you pay for. Half the magazines don't download though. When they do download and you try to delete them, the cover will still be stuck in your library. Support is slow to respond for simple tasks and don't answer all your questions.
