LOVE THIS!!
Been using it for YEARS!!! Been too preoccupied to write a review. This app is great. Never had any issues with tampering. Love the option to make folders, cut, copy, and paste. So easy to customize and organize!!! Recently backed up info through Dropbox and transferred to new phone. SEAMLESS!! Don’t change ANYTHING except maybe a bigger icon selection to include iPhone emoji keypad or something similar. Thank you for keeping things simple and functional. So many app developers have updates after update that make you wonder what’s changing. Not an issue with this app! Love love love it!!
Doesn’t back up
I’ve used this password manager app for a while but it’s time to find a new one. This app recently changed its icon, so when I was cleaning out old apps from my phone, I deleted it. When I finally realized what happened, I found it on the App Store and downloaded it again. I “restored” my info and passwords but the data that was “restored” is very old data. None of my recent passwords are there, which renders this app useless to me now.
Good password manager works without subscriptions
Gets the job done but sometimes iCloud backup doesn’t work well.
Limited files
I have used this app for years and now I can no longer add any additional files. This was never stated years ago. I guess the pro version adds additional file space? How would you know?
Fantastically simple but bugs
Used this app for years and love it, so simple, doesn’t over complicate things. Yes I went through the same nightmare when it suddenly wouldn’t load, something to do with the iOS version, but I had back-ups. My main annoyance is that ever since I have used this app, well over 10years, the search function has crashed the app…..various iPads over the years and it still does the same thing. Come on developer, sort it please.

Unable to open after years
I am unable to open the app, it keeps asking me for my password. It’s not taking any of my passwords, and it’s also not recognizing my Face ID. Then a box shows up and tells me to put in my code, which I’ve never done before, all of a sudden, I can’t use this. did something recently changed? I wish I can contact somebody. I know it’s a free app so that’s nice but it’s unfortunate. I can’t use it anymore.

Contracted the support email and nothing back … have lost all my passwords since the 14.8 iOS update and nothing back. Avoid if you want a critical app that has some support

This is a great app. I wish there were more icons and I had to repurchase it after having it for a few years which was frustrating. But overall this is a great app.

I have been using this app for years. It has worked fine. On the last update, I had difficulty updating. Now it tells me I need to uodate to pro to add more passwords. No warning. NOT happy!!

I used the Silver PAID version for 10 yrs with no problem. Suddenly this developer decided UPDATE and to eliminate the app without updating to work with current iphone IOS. All thousands of us who had used this lost hundreds of passwords and stored info. He gave us NO WARNING to retrieve and backup our info!! I would never trust this developer in any app! Buyer beware!!
In the interest of balance
I to was using a previous version of this app and was also very annoyed that when updating to a new phone my data was not transferred. Although I still had access to all my data via my old phone and having read the previous reviews I was looking at the prospect of needing to transfer all my data manually from one phone to the other. I was able eventually to create a data backup from my old phone and restore it to the new phone. I tried both the dropbox and iCloud methods but they just kept loading blank files. Finally had success with the wifi method.

Hi I am in the same position and cannot access the app due to ios upgrade and app needing update. Please can it be updated
OLDER VERSION OF THIS APP
I’d like to give this a 3 frustrating as it is communication goes a long way. ****DEVELOPERS DID NOT INFORM USERS THAT YOU WILL LOOSE ALL YOUR PASSWORD AND THE APP IS NOT COMPATIBLE BEYOND IOS 14.6*** Simply put, utterly disgraceful. Forcing users to buy the new version and no instruction to export/import. To make matters worse they provided a yahoo support email which does not work. But hey if I’m truly honest the app is relatively good, could do with better thumbnail logos and a larger library or original logos. DEVELOPERS - if you’re reading this you need to provide user support.

This app is simple, has great back up and easy to use. After a year, I upgraded to the password manager pro for $4.99.( to get unlimited entries ) All has been great and so easy to use . Especially from a non technical guy! Couldn’t live without this app ……and I have upgraded iPhones 2 times - seamless
Neglected, no more update. App always crashes.
This app has been neglected or maybe abandoned, no update for over 4 months. Currently, I’m using iOS 17.1.1, this app crashes a lot when editing or trying to add new entry. It’s a matter of time when it becomes unusable with iOS updating constantly. Take your password elsewhere.

Chinese Developers REFUSE to give Access to PASSWORDS
You have to ask yourself why would the developer of this app and its now defunct predecessor REFUSE to update the predecessor app so thousands (at minimum) of people can access years worth of passwords again?! It seems easy enough to either update this new version to enable it to restore from the previous version into this new version or simply update the previous version to be compatible with ios 14.5 and above! Developer is CHINESE and likely loves the control over Westerners. And don’t be fooled by the email address listed. It bounces. I and countless others used the original version only to be shut out without warning and have lost years worth of not just passwords but account information, personal information, medical history information and more. Because the developer could care less and refuses to update their old application. The control over people is what this CHINESE developer wants and got with the prior app (which is essentially identical to this one). UPDATE THE PREVIOUS VERSION SO WE CAN HAVE OUR PASSWORDS/INFORMATION BACK!!! DO NOT TRUST THIS DEVELOPER (and shame on apple for taking ZERO RESPONSIBILITY AND DOING NOTHING TO HELP DUPED USERS)!!! Use ANYTHING bur this app!!!
Password Pro paid version not working
I have been using the iPassword Pro version for over two years. After I updated my iPhone 7 software yesterday I am unable to open the app and access my passwords. I get the message that the developer of the app needs to upgrade it to work on this version of iOS. I hope they will do it at the earliest.

Bad support
Have had this app for about 10+ years, this app works great, used to be called “iPassword” They do not update or support the older version, I would recommend find someone else, saves you lots of headaches in the future. The original app only works on the old iOS version. 2 weeks later App say wants 9.99 to continue using it, not happening, support stinks, still have not heard back from these losers.
Shady Business Model
Upgraded to XR and it was a disaster.. lost passwords and the restore feature was not honored. Upgraded to a 14 and again restore not honored.. Definitely I am not paying again. Done with it.. looking elsewhere. Also the Devs are in China so be mindful of that .. who knows what’s really happening on that data exchange. I am out!
Do Not Use, Do Not Buy
I’ve used iPassword for over 6 years. It had all of my passwords in it. When apple update 14.6 came I updated my phone as usual. I tried to get in to iPassword and could not get in. I tried to update my app and it says the developer needs to update it. I thought it was a glitch but it wasn’t. I took to social media fb and Twitter. Only to find that at least 2 months prior this developer had stopped updating that version. It was apparently because he was making this version. Many of us have pleaded with him through fb messenger and Twitter to update so that we could get our passwords. He has not responded and has not updated. Here we are years later and still nothing. This app is by the same developer. I would not trust or purchase from him. Apple can not or will not help. I was told that we had to contact the developer. I thought that all apps on apple platform had to answer to apple’s rules but apparently not. I had the paid version of iPassword it worked fine just like this one. He should not have been able to have any apps on their platform after what he has done to so many. Pen and paper is looking better everyday.

It’s good to use and useful for all kind of passwords... but only thing you need to buy this... free version has got very limited capacity to store passwords 10-20 max more than this you need to buy this app... it’s worth actually to buy this also...
Not secure
Strangely after purchasing the app also the password field can be tapped when “copy” appears and same copied to notes application to reveal the password. What’s the purpose then if anybody can find it. Just for storing and remembering passwords that’s the sole use of this. Will not recommend.
Good app but May not be reliable
I have used this app for many years. Definitely more than 5-6 years. I saved all my passwords of different apps and websites etc in this. It’s apparently secure and everything and very easy to use too. Everything was going well until recently when I upgraded the OS version on my iPhone and this app gave me a shock of my life. Whenever I tried to open the app it said that it won’t work with the latest OS version which I just upgraded to. No matter what it did not work at all. I googled to check if there was any work around to get my data but there wasn’t a way to get it. The app notified me that I should delete it so I did and then downloaded the new version of this app now. I opened the new version and tried to get my data from the cloud, but the app told me that my data from the old version cannot be restored any more. So basically I have lost all my data/passwords store for the last 5-6 years. And I have no choice but to recreate everything again. There is not guarantee that the app will not go through the same situation again in a few years
Been using for years
I used to use 1password. That didn’t transfer over to my new phone. Now I am using this which is exact same app and I had to pay for this one also. I won’t pay again. As a password manager I found it quite useful. My new phone does face recognition and this app supports it now. Guess I have to give it 5 stars now. This app does the trick and I never forget my passwords cause I have them right with me. I have a lot of passwords also. So I couldn’t do it quickly without it. Great app.

I had used this Password app for many years satisfactorily. When my IPhone upgraded to IOS 15.5 I received a message that Apple would no longer serve this app and the developer needed to update it. I attempted to contact the developer, but all contacts were unanswered. I had two long on-line chats with Apple support and a in person session with its Genius Bar to no avail. I backed up all my passwords on ICloud but the Genius Bar said they could not be downloaded? This may be the updated version of the original I used, but I am still unable to download from the ICloud. I’ve lost all my saved passwords.

The developer of the earlier (free) version of this app has not updated it to be compatible with later versions of IOS. Whilst this is his/her right what is not acceptable is that there was no pre warning of this decision so you are unable to access stored information. Unable to contact the developer. Hopefully Apple will look into this???? Very poor

I use to forget all my passwords or I had them written down in notes and in folders. I would look like a total idiot trying to find the right one. Now I am still an idiot but an organized one. Great App.
Crashes no app update
I had this app for years. Suddenly, the developer stopped updating the app and developed same app with a new face-a vault picture. Every aspect of new app is same as old. Since they won’t update old one, I lost everything. Now they expect you to pay a one time payment AGAIN for lifetime! I paid it for last app and obviously I out lived that app. I have tried to email developers through app and the email is no longer in use. Haven’t been able to contact anyone! If they update and transfer from old app to new app, they’d get 5 stars, until then zero! Don’t trust them with their “lifetime” crap because they don’t honor it!!!
