Lollipop camera
Had about 4 different types of cameras and always go back to this one! It’s my favorite and it’s so easy to use! Love the app features! You can do so many things on the app depending on your subscription, even if you don’t have one! Quality is amazing! And it lasted so many years!!
Most of the time it doesn’t connect
More often than not I cannot connect to the baby monitor. WiFi is strong around the house. When it connects it has no issues. Kinda makes the product useless though when I can only use it every other night at best

Disappointing
I got this camera as a baby shower gift and I was excited seeing as my sister loves it. Unfortunately I’ve only had it for a month and it’s already giving me problems. It logged me out of my account and now now matter what I do the app does NOT let me log back in. I’ve tried everything and nothing works and has become so frustrating. The camera was the one thing that was helping me sleep peacefully because I could see my daughter whenever she made a noise and now I’m nothing but stressed and getting up every five minutes because this camera decided to stop working. This is not a cheap camera, you would think it would be easier to navigate and easier for us to access it. Instead it’s just a headache. Unfortunate.
Not that great
When I first got this I was excited but maybe 6 months in I was having connectivity issues. WiFi said the connection was strong and stable but it takes FOREVER for the picture to show up 85% of the time. If at all. I’m only giving the 3 because I like that it keeps quick clips. But it also has issues with the boundary setting. I have the area defined and it will capture her barely moving but the actual moment I want to capture (her getting out of bed and leaving!) it doesn’t. I would’ve gotten a different one if I could go back.

Camera picture quality is good and easy to use through phone/iPad. Contacted customer service with prompt and helpful responses easily solving the issue.
Continually declines
Got this over two years ago. Started out reliable but, similarly to what others have said, the UI changes have gotten worse and worse. One of the features I loved is no longer available or if it is, I’ve tried my best to find it and can’t find it. When we open the app, the camera takes an unreasonable amount of time to load if it even loads at all (it often doesn’t). We keep the sound on the device using the app off because we get a nonstop clicking sound, which we read has something to do with the camera shuttering in the dark (but it’s always in the dark when we are actively using it… because our little one is sleeping!) I’ve just decided it’s time to get rid of this one and start looking for something new.
Disappointed
Really disappointed with the latest update. It’s only small things but now it is very annoying to use. Split screen no longer fits on an iPad on its side. You have to half split both screens. Also, the most disappointing part is the app no longer saves small video clips from any type of alert unless you want to pay. Very disappointed.
App needs bug fixes!
My camera is working, I can hear it taking pictures but my app won’t pick up the camera’s signal
Updates Always Break Camera
I’ve been using Lollipop cameras since 2023 and love most of the features it has. I wanted a monitor that I could access through an app away from home and this delivers. Outside of that, it has all of the standard features you’d find with a baby monitor. I’ve liked this camera so much that I bought another one this year after having our son. The split screen feature is great and it’s fairly easy to toggle between both cameras so I can use other features like zoom and the microphone to talk. However, it seems every time they update the app something breaks. The last few updates, it’s the microphone. We aren’t able to talk to our daughter, which is our nap and nightly routine so she gets upset when we don’t talk to her through the camera. Additionally, recently the camera is constantly spinning randomly. It’ll be working fine and then all of a sudden, the screen blanks out and it has the reloading icon. It usually loads again fairly quickly but I’m concerned for it to happen overnight when I am sleeping and won’t notice if it’s not working. Overall, I’ve enjoyed using these cameras and they’ve served their purpose but app updates and reliability could use some serious improvements.
Can't live without this camera !
This camera has been a life saver, so much more convenient then disturbing the kids by walking in and out. Have been using it for three years and has helped me so much. Feel like it may be used for years to come, as the kids grow!
Dont Buy This Camera
Horrible, you need a subscription to use the features. You pay $200 for the Camera, cannot even connect to wifi properly. What a WASTE OF MONEY! DO NOT BUY.
Decent but give it a rest
It’s a decent app, does what you need which is to keep an eye on your kid, with minimal features on the free version. It’s just a little bit annoying that every other page is plugging ‘upgrade to paid prescription for this feature’ and most things on the app require a paid prescription. Just gets a little tiresome. “Oh that’s a nice feature, oh, no you need to upgrade” “Let me just see if I can… nope, you have to upgrade to do that” “What about… nope UPGRADE TO ACCESS”
Great camera, app is TERRIBLE
Each update makes it worse. Update MARCH 2026 - terrible interface. The Picture in Picture mode works 30% of the time, and when it does, it’s very very behind. The in app mic to speak through the camera is decent but not on time. About 5-10 second delay. Sometimes it also sounds like it’s repeating itself. Also getting randomly logged out is not cool. As a baby monitor I would like to be able to view the feed as quick as possible. Not have to log in once a month. The camera quality is great. Which is sad because the app ruins the product. Very disappointing for the price and purpose.
Updates are terrible
Each update gets glitchier and glitchier. I’ve also noticed (and reported) that if music is playing it will not alert you to the baby crying. According to lollipop support I’m the one and only parent having this issue…with 2/2 of my cameras….HIGHLY DOUBTFUL. Their solution was to literally factory reset all my cameras and start all over…I highly doubt that’s going to help so I’m not going to put in the time and effort to do so when my kids are at the age they can just come get us but we have a 3rd baby on the way and we will be looking at different camera options for her.
Great and Functional Monitor!
I bought a Lollipop monitor in 2018 and have bought more since then plus accessories. The app has improved more and more since then. I also have had minor situations where I needed to contact customer support for and they have always been so helpful and quick to reply! I have been impressed! Five stars to the monitor, app, and customer service.
Constantly Disconnecting
Multiple times a night this monitor disconnects and just spins trying to reconnect. It is insanely frustrating.
Taking away features with the update so you now have to pay.
The new update is much less user friendly when you have two cameras, the split screen for both is now separate, and you have to exit it to open the individual cameras and check alerts or change settings.
Good Until Now
Worked really well for the first 6 or so months. Now constantly requires to be reset to connect to camera or the app randomly logs you out. Really disappointing
New update won’t let camera find WiFi networks
I have been using Lollipop cameras since 2023. They have always been amazing. The latest update deployed absolutely ruined the product. Now, the camera is totally incapable of scanning and finding WiFi networks, making it useless since now I can’t get it to run. I had never had issues before and decided I would pair a second camera to double-check it wasn’t a hardware issue. The result was the same: both cameras would pair with my phone and would then get stuck in the step of finding and connecting to the WiFi network. It’s definitely a lollipop software issue rather than a network issue since I have tried connecting them both next by the router with a +500 mbps connection and still not working. I had never had this issue before. I’m very disappointed and am hoping this gets fixed asap or otherwise I will have to get a different camera that works
Great WiFi Based Camera for infant and Toddler
We’ve had the Lollipop for almost two years and have had great results. Being WiFi based, we’ve had a few hiccups connecting a few times, but as long as the firmware and app are up to date, everything works great. The bending option to attach to different surfaces has made it easy to travel with and still keep a close eye on my baby. Also the breathing monitor was a nice peace of mind while baby was an infant. It does occasionally click to adjust to lighting etc, but a good sound machine usually covers it up and the baby doesn’t seem too affected. All and all it’s been a great resource.
Still awful
I want to add yet another review to my previous one. When we first got this, it was absolutely amazing. I would recommend it to everybody. But then they did a major change in the app for really no reason., and it made the experience so awful. Your children’s cameras used to just be the home screen, and you could just touch that individual screen to widen everything and go to that baby. Now you have to touch three different buttons. You have to go to the top left and then for some absolutely stupid reason that that makes me feel like they did no user experience testing, we all opens up at the bottom of the screen were you then have to scroll to select the child you wanna look at. Why you have to go from top left to the bottom I don’t know. Again pretty bad and frustrating. But we’re not done. Once you scroll and find the child you wanna look at, you then have to go to the top right of that box and hit done. Again, terrible UX. And it now takes even longer to go to that child to widen the screen and see what’s wrong. Maybe someone realized how dumb it was right before they launched because there was an option to look at all the cameras at once, but that is no longer the default. You have to select it. But then if you want to zoom in on a child, you have to go through that entire list of directions I said before. It takes so much more time. Especially because the app used to just be simple and now it’s trying to be way more than it needs to be while trying to push AI to monitor and track your children. For the money you’re spending, you don’t have to buy this. Even the download of the notification takes Forever. You get an alert that your child crossed out of their crib or the decibels went too high, you can’t see what initially happened that alert is downloading for 3 minutes. So you can’t only get to see the live feed when it’s important…after 2 minutes of finding the right child and waiting for the app to focus on that specific child. When the initial app update happened, I was told that the developers were working to improve things. They haven’t. Just go with something else.

Quality picture
Update ruined it AGAIN
The app has had trouble for several months since they revamped it. Well, it updated 3 days ago and ever since, the connectivity has been horrible! Now it won’t even connect even after resetting it! Do better lollipop!!
Good camera but new update isn’t working
When we first got the camera we loses it so much we got one for the grandparents house. Unfortunately with the new update I haven’t been getting notifications from the one grandparents and noticed a significant decrease in the ones from our house (I got a notification when she went down for a nap but not when she got picked up from the nap or when she had diaper changes which I used to get). All my notification options are on in phone settings and in app but when I try to load in app notification or look at video history in app it says “failed, try again later”. In addition when my mom try’s to login on her phone it says “network unavailable” (she has tried to delete and redownload) but on the PC it is fine.
Customer service
I want to start off by saying, I received this monitor as a gift for a baby shower. It worked perfectly, up until recently which led me to contact Lollipop customer service, whom went above and beyond to ensure that my camera would function. When troubleshooting didn’t work they offered to send a complimentary replacement for the inconvenience. I would highly recommend this company and their customer support to anyone.
App doesn’t let you log in once you log out or get a new device
I got a new phone and all the app says is try again later and no log in is allowed

I really love this camera and loved it even more with the camera in camera feature! It has stopped completely working, would really like to get it back because when I’m cleaning I like having something playing on my phone while watching my baby!
Keeps logging me out
The updates make the UI harder to use. Also the app continually logs me off and it’s a pain to log in every time.
The latest update is terrible.
Since the latest large update, the ‘background audio’ does not function correctly. If you have background audio turned on, with other audio playing on the same device (ie. Spotify), the audio from the monitor does not come through. This did not used to be an issue with the previous app versions.
Great Camera!
We have been using the lollipop for a couple of years now and have just purchased a second one for our newest family member. The first quality of footage is so clear and love being able to access our 2 cameras at once!
update broke connectivity
Updated app today with most recent update and now camera won’t connect no matter what I do. Xfinity app shows a strong connection to the camera from my router.

Where did this feature go? It was working and suddenly now the icon to activate it is gone. Help!! Changer camera from Wi-Fi only to live view (private connection to non private connection) and then back to private connection Wi-Fi only and now it’s gone. No info on it in your help section. It’s an awesome feature when it works. Help
New Update Removed Convenient feature
I have been using the Lollipop Camera and App since 2022 with 2 cameras and now added a third for a new baby. With the recent update to the app, the ability to tap on one camera from the split screen view to take a closer look is gone and I can no longer quickly change cameras. I have to back out of the split screen, and then drop down the menu to select the other camera I want. And with loading time dragging, it just takes extra time to get to the view I needed. The function was there before, I am not sure why it would be removed with the update.
Lollipop Update
I just have one thing to say about this monitor and that is the new update is literal garbage. I have to log in and out every time I want to do the split screen because it will go to one baby on its own then wont let me go back to split screen after. I love this monitor but y’all really need to fix the update. And the whole new look of the app is fine but kinda hard to find everything. So pleaseee fix!
Great monitor!
I love this baby monitor! I’ve used it for my son since he was six months old. The app also works full screen on an iPad, which is what I keep on all night on my nightstand. The picture in the app is clear and I’m able to rest easier knowing I’m getting real time video of my baby.
Just updated the app and regret it
I can’t get my one daughters camera to load most of the time or play her white noise. Super annoying.
Happy with our purchase!
We’ve been using this camera for a couple of years after buying when a friend recommended it. The one single thing I’d change is the reliance on wifi but in this day and age, it’s never been too much of a problem. We’ve travelled domestically and internationally and stayed in so many places, and the flexible leg means we can mount it easily anywhere. The actual camera and audio are great, good options for white noise and good quality picture both day and night. The app has some cute settings like an easy option for taking photos to save to a gallery, plus additional features if you want them. I love that we can share access with other carers or friends and family. We’ve also dealt with the customer support team after having an issue initially - they were so quick to reply and resolved our issue straight away. Great camera, good app and definitely would recommend.
Disappointed with the update and new interface
I have been using this camera and app for 5 years. I have recommended it to countless people. We are on our third baby and we have 2 cameras set up in their rooms. This update has made the app less intuitive and very clunky. It is not user friendly at all. Please change it back to being able to toggle between split screen to single full screen more efficiently. And the screen no longer rotates when in the split screen mode. It’s really disappointing.
Monitors work, new app update is terrible
I’ve been using Lollipop since 2020 and have had a great experience with customer service and have been generally happy with the performance of the monitors. However, the new app update is terrible and makes almost every action within the app less intuitive and user-friendly. There’s no longer an ability to click directly into one camera from the split screen, the background audio has become a lot less reliable (turning off randomly during use of other apps), and the speaker function is now even slower than before if it works at all. I’ll continue using lollipop because the monitors are good and customer service has been great, but I’m really disappointed in this app update.
Love this camera
This camera has been amazing for my family. Easily portable, easy to position in our baby’s room and gives us excellent vision both in light and for night vision. Highly recommend!
Horrible connection
It’s virtually impossible to try to get this thing connected to the internet.
Issues with recent update
Recent update makes it impossible to clear notifications. Constantly showing up with no way to delete. Very annoying for what was otherwise a great product.
They broke split screen
Been using these for 6 years and a recent update forced a vertically stacked split screen view of 2 monitors when the iPad is in landscape mode (horizontal). This is horrible as it’s shows half of each camera feed. Please revert back to old side by side.
Fix your app
I’ve been a lollipop user since 2020. This latest update is terrible. Please include an actual parent in designing the use when toggling between cameras.
Great after-sales support service
I made contact with the support service via the ‘contact’ tab on the website and received very prompt attention. After a few emails back and forth with details (with follow up emails from lollipop when I forgot to respond!), my issue was completely resolved. I am very happy with the timeliness and and success of the outcome. Thank you!

App notification bugs
Since the recent update you can no longer clear notifications. I mark them as read, delete them etc and I still keep the notification. Happening across multiple iOS devices. Really annoying in an otherwise good product.
All about the money.
I used to really enjoy this app! I wish I would have NEVER updated it. Since the update my ability to view the 30 second recorded clips is now gone and they want you to pay for a subscription. Looks like I’ll be looking for a new monitor with my next baby. It really irritates me that with the next update they took that away.
New app is not perfect but quicker than before.
New app has been a let down- it automatically plays the noise at a loud volume when you go to live view. It also keeps telling me I need to upgrade to access the breathing function. I already have the paid edition. Connectivity has improved and live view is steamed quicker than last edition.
