I used the app with two devices on the same Wi-Fi network, which should be within the functionality of the free plan. It prompted me for premium every five seconds and would not show audio streaming while the premium promo window was up.

Wenn die Internetverbindung schlecht ist oder gar ganz abbricht, wird kein Alarm gegeben, das ist äußerst ungünstig!
Teuer und nur bedingt nutzbar
Selten so unnütz Geld ausgegeben. Die Elternstation und Babystation verlieren ab und an die Verbindung ohne, dass die im Hintergrund laufende App darüber informiert. Trotz Premium Account. Was hilft ein Babyphone, wenn es nicht mal mitteilt, dass die Verbindung weg ist? Dafür haben wir nicht wenig Geld bezahlt. Daneben zahlt man eine Menge für einen Premium Account und kann dann nur ein Handy als Elternstation nutzen. Wird vorher und beim Kauf des Premium Accounts nirgendwo erwähnt oder erklärt. Zwei Sterne, weil es funktioniert, wenn man die App permanent offen vor sich liegen hat. Das brauchen wir aber nicht.
Eigentlich tolle App
Wir nutzen die Luna App schon seit rund 4 Jahren. Anfangs noch ohne premium seit ner Weile auch mit. Gekauft habe ich die premium Variante, weil es oben in unserem wlan nicht zuverlässig laufen wollte und ich dachte, dass es sich auf diese Weise verbessert. Hat es auch, zum Teil zumindest. Das Netzwerk Problem wurde da durch behoben, nicht aber die regelmäßigen Abbrüche der Tonübertragung. Die videoübertragung klappt garnicht. Auch nicht das meine Geräte manchmal keine Verbindung zueinander aufbauen oder sich garnicht erst finden. Alles irgendwie zu verkraften, wenn auch ärgerlich bei dem Preis. Garnicht geht allerdings die Tatsache, dass die App nach wenigen Minuten im Hintergrund einfach ohne Warnung abschaltet, was jetzt zum wiederholten Male dazu geführt hat, dass ich sehr spät erst mitbekommen habe das mein Kind weint. Das ist ein absolutes no Go (weil ihr groß und breit damit Werbung macht, dass sie im Hintergrund läuft und ich genau auf diese Funktion aktuell angewiesen bin) und wird wohl jetzt dazu führen, dass ich mir ein anderes Babyphone zulegen werde. Sehr schade, aber so leider nicht sinnvoll nutzbar für mich.

Terrible app
Not particularly hard to stream audio reliably, people have been doing it for nearly a hundred years yet this app managed to screw it up every single time. The app always disconnects and never recovers even if both devices are on the same wifi. Do not use

Keine Familienfreigabe
Die App ist super! Allerdings gibt es leider keine Familienfreigabe. Damit man zum Biepsiel das iPhone meiner Frau als Babygerät und mein iPhone als Elterngerät nutzen kann oder wenn ich nicht da bin meine Frau ihr iPhone (Elterngerät) und mein iPad (Babygerät) nutzen kann, müssen beide Accounts die Premium-Version kaufen. Das ist wirklich schade. Eine Babyphone App ist ja das Paradebeispiel für eine Familienfreigabe, leider fehlt diese hier.
Idee dahinter gut, Umsetzung muss noch besser werden
Wir finden die Luna App grundsätzlich wirklich gut. Leider haben wir aber nicht die Möglichkeit 2 Geräte mit unterschiedlichen Apple-ids als jeweilige Station zu nutzen. Wir haben ständig Probleme mit der Videoübertragung, auch wenn wir sicherstellen, dass Internet etc alles funktioniert. Oft lädt und lädt die Videoüberwachung und es wird einfach nichts angezeigt. Das Laden der Videoüberwachung dauert uns (wenn es dann funktioniert) grundsätzlich viel zu lange - meist 10 bis 15 Sekunden bis man überhaupt was sieht. Das erste Mal Video wenn wir eine neue Überwachung starten funktioniert auch nicht, da müssen wir dann immer einen Neustart machen und dann geht’s erst wieder. Für das Video braucht man schon recht helles Licht. Die Tonübertragung und auch die Präzision finden wir ziemlich gut. Vermutlich werden wir nicht verlängern, bereuen den Kauf aber nicht und würden es für eine kurze Überwachung unterwegs empfehlen, für zu Hause auf keinen Fall.

Wer diese App in der Familie nutzen will, ist zu mindestens zwei Abos gezwungen. Bitte Apple Familienzutritt aktivieren, dann gibts fünf Sterne.
Sometimes it works other times it doesn’t at all
This app is great for a quick fix but not long term. It works here and there and other times I won’t pick up the audio at all only send you notifications that baby is awake. Very upsetting to not be able to hear your babies noises.
Vibration lässt sich nicht ausschalten
Die App funktionier soweit gut. Einzig die Vibration lässt sich in den Alarmeinstellungen nicht deaktivieren bzw. aktiviert sich direkt direkt wieder.

Tolle einfache App Made in Germany
Toll und einfach zu bedienen. Der eine Stern fehlt auch bei uns da die Familienfreigabe echt ein schöner und wichtiger Punkt wäre.
Disappointed – Shouldn’t Have to Pay Twice
I was surprised to learn that purchasing the premium version on one device doesn’t extend to the other, which makes the upgrade feel incomplete. It would be much more customer-friendly to offer a one-time premium option (around $30) that covers both devices instead of requiring two separate purchases. I hope the developers consider adjusting this in future updates.
Good concept, but extremely unreliable
Turning on audio streaming always requires multiple tries and app restarts. And audio streaming stops after an alert was played! Why?? It also sometimes stops on it’s own. Online devices sometimes just don’t show up, requiring to force quit the app and start it again. The app also can’t do anything about the phone being silent after a focus or dnd mode automatically activated at night. This is a real security risk when the phone just goes silent and the baby cries for a long time without anybody noticing. There should be multiple alert modes like alexa integration, sms and email fallbacks and second and third alternative phones (grandparents) alerts etc. Do everything to make sure an alert gets trough somehow! Feature requests: Make a pause button to silence alerts when I am in the room with the baby. It is so annoying to constantly hear the alerts when I try to sooth the baby. Also add alerts for device movements! Often our two year old wakes up and plays with the ipad but does not cry. Detect touches and accelerometer movements!

I paid the 15 and no stealing just shows black. It’s really bad. Wanted to use it to track our sick grandparent.
Great app for parents
Very good app, it works perfectly! Sometimes the pairing is tricky but we always managed to get it working after rebooting. The sensitivity can be adjusted and it works perfectly.
Not working anymore
It used to work great but not any more on my iOS 15.8.3. Does not connect and does not register the device after reinstalling
Not too shabby
The connection is always some how interrupted, I have to restart it. Some how the alerts don’t go off anymore and my sound don’t work for the audio. There is a 10 second delay on the video and the alert settings are confusing. I wouldn’t recommend not for the price.
Great but I think it has some bugs
I think this app for a baby monitor is great, but I have some issues with it not wanting to open on an IPad. I think there should be a continuous viewing option in the premium part along with a way to talk to your child through it. All that being said it gets the job done.

Super appli, très dommage que le mode premium ne passe pas en partage familial car ça doit toujours être le tel avec le compte premium qui fait l’unité parentale. Notamment quand ce tel n’a plus de batterie ça aurait été super de pouvoir échanger…
Lots of bugs
Video takes about 10 seconds to open which is a long time for a rational parent irrationally checking the camera to make sure their child is breathing. Would’ve been worth the 20 bucks to get a real camera instead of a membership
Local network not working
Keeps saying the two devices are on different networks but this is not the case. Both devices are on airplane mode and on the same WiFi. I have also tried disabling “private address” in settings but still the app insists the devices are on different networks
Cheap, and helpful
The app works great between my iPhone and iPad. I can always hear my baby when she’s asleep/ awake and the video option is great.

This app is okay. When it works it’s great but it doesn’t always. So far it’s worked about half the times my little one wakes up. The streaming of sound doesn’t come on consistently. The app keeps running in the background even after ending the monitoring session in both devices.
Will not let you try free, and seems not to allow you to speak to your baby.
The app asks every few seconds if you want the paid version. It claims to offer a fifteen minute trial of this version before buying, but if you try to use this trial it still fills the screen every few seconds with the request that you switch to premium. Literally about three seconds after you close the message. While this is up you can’t see your baby, and there seems to be no way to speak to them.

It would have been nice to know there was only a 15 minute trial before I downloaded the app.

WASTE OF MONEY
Do not buy this. You get a free trial for 15mins then forced to purchase the $15 yearly subscription. The camera does not work in low light settings so unless you plan to keep your baby up with a nightlight (or already use one) then this is not the product for you. Quality is poor and not worth the amount spending. Save your money for a real baby monitor from a Target or Walmart. Or even better invest in a Nanit- a QUALITY baby monitor!
Good backup but does not replace a good baby monitor
This app generally works well and I have used it a number of times as a backup when on holiday or when my usual monitor has broken. It is however a bit buggy still as others have said. I like to leave it streaming the audio during the night but it does seem to stop doing that randomly which is frustrating. Having said that it definitely works better now than it did a few years ago when I last used it. If they could just sort the last few bugs out it would get 5 stars.
It’s ok
I like that you only pay once for the premium subscription but I want video all the time and it only does video for 60 seconds at a time when I’m not on WiFi. I use this app at my grandmother’s house and she doesn’t have WiFi so I have to keep pressing stream video. It also is very basic
Very well designed app, but a bit of a hassle
Phone set up was very easy, although my phones couldn’t detect one another the code linking was instant. I got the video feature to work once, then not again; the noise alerts are very quick and accurate though. The pop-ups to upgrade are frequent and you can’t really dismiss it without accepting the trial, which is annoying. Within 5 min my phones (beside each other) claimed to be on different networks and stopped working. Looks like a great app, but does need some tweaks!

Video never worked
I wish I could get my money back. Didn’t even use it for more than 10 minutes. If you have a sound machine it will think baby is awake. I sent an email asking for a refund and no response. The video never worked or the audio all it told me was baby was awake when baby was sleeping since it heard the sound machine. If the video worked then it wouldn’t be a big deal since I could see. But it’s pretty use less and I wasted 14 bucks for 10 minutes. Do not get!
Great app and absolute lifesaver in places where traditional monitor doesn’t quite reach
We love this app, and find it really useful if we’re travelling with the kids and are staying somewhere where our usual monitor doesn’t reach. A couple of minor bug bears: - warning about parent station volume level being set very low doesn’t go away after you increase the volume unless you end and restart the monitoring - the “enable video” user interface when setting up on the camera on the baby station is a bit unclear - my partner thought she’d done it without pressing the “enable” button to return to the main screen - having family sharing turned on doesn’t seem to translate to us being able to share the subscription and therefore use alternate phones as the baby station - we always seem to have to use my partners phone because she was the one who subscribed
Grandma
I tried to use this on my phone in a hotel but the service kept getting disconnected. Also if a phone calls come in , it disconnects. It doesn’t work for my needs.
Works but seems ... unfinished?
Odd things. Some parts of the app aren't translated, which is weird. There's no obvious way to remove old baby stations. Some connections appear in the list twice with no way to know which to use. Auto-pairing never seems to work (not a multicast issue so far as I can tell). And there are odd delays in relaying audio or notifications which leave me feeling a bit uneasy sometimes. But it works, well, mostly! And you can stream audio and video (permanently would be a nice feature btw). And it's quite a cute design, which is worth something.
Best monitoring app!
Very easy to use, works perfectly! You can change the sensitivity depending on the set up, which is quite handy! It’s also a much cheaper option than more classic walky talky type ones, highly recommend, and thank you for the peace of mind 🥰

Great but not perfect
Seems to work well over a cellular and/or WiFi and the have been so far seemed reliable. The only problem encountered is that the video streaming does not seem to work when the ‘baby monitor’ device has it’s screen locked. I works well if the screen is active but this causes light in the room and uses more energy. If this was fixed it would definitely deserve 5*
Eco mode?
Can’t seem to get this off, I can’t stay on the video stream even with both phones plugged in. Would like recording options.

When it works it’s great but it’s so flakey it’s frustrating. Hit and miss whether video will stream or not. It’s not the use case I want to take a risk on too.
