What people like
- Extremely accurate rain and hail data
- Simple and easy to use
- Much better than official BOM app
What they complain about
- Intrusive ads ruin the experience
- Radar glitches or stops loading
- Forecast predictions are often wrong
So much better than the new version at bom
The only down is the ads, but I understand that’s needed. Really just very much appreciated
Okay but frustrating
The App itself is OK - actually not bad at all BUT IT IS SPOILED BY INTRUSIVE ADS THAT CANT BE REMOVED. I’ll find a better app
Dana
Pretty accurate, and reliable information
Not loading
Page not loading current weather conditions
Paid for Free got add
I remember buying this app, only to have adds put into it in later updates which I thought was a bit cheeky.
Ease of use
SO easy
Chance of rain
How do you have a medium chance of showers at 30% a high chance of showers at 50% … it maybe better to look out the window
Location
Sometimes the location where I am on the map is wrong and when I go to 25% it’s off me completely
It’s okay
I only use the app for the radar which is great. The ads drive me crazy, and it’s never correct with the forecast so don’t ever rely on it. Only use for the radar.
Aus rain radar
A good app. It was great before all the adverts. The adverts are super annoying to have to veiw before being able to see the weather.
Excellent app
This version is light years ahead of the new BOM effort. Well worth the purchase.
Not working
Hasn’t worked the last 3 days, deleted and reinstalled, still not working. Was my favourite weather App !
Good app
Good app but pop up ads are annoying.
Glitch
It use to run smoothly but the cloud masses have started glitching jumping backwards and forwards. Have uninstalled and reinstalled no change its a purchased version
Better than BOM
We use it every day. So useful
Adds!
Can’t get past the adds to actually see the radar!
Good overall
Ads are really annoying in any apps that you simply want to get quick information from.
Weather obs
Have always thought this was a great ap but since the last update no weather observations show on the map. I have checked in settings that they are turned on and I’ve also checked BoM app to make sure they are showing on the map there. So for the past week the map doesn’t show nearly as much info as usual.
Best radar
Excellent rain radar, easy to use app, better than the bom
Too difficult for older people to use
Being elderly, I find it very hard to understand how to use your Portal it needs to be more user-friendly for the elderly as well
Rain radar
I find good usually it is very close to being spot on thank you it’s a good app
Love it
Use this app every day because it’s accurate-
Disgrace
What an absolute disgrace BOM is nowadays and why give a weeks forecast when you cannot even get the next day right still same as last time useless
Aus rain radar
Very accurate and extremely helpful when deciding the walk between showers. Very reliable.
Bad
The add are so bad I can’t use the app because of add
App Advice
It’s a good App it lets you know the severity of Rain and Hail. When it’s going to rain etc
Not accurate
This app can’t predict the weather at all go back to the old way of predicting weather
Rain Tsdsr
App is very accurate and clear display
Advertising
Hard to dismiss too intrusive
Great app
I have tried many weather apps and this is the best one by a long way. I have 3 locations saved in Australia as we travel to these areas regularly so good to see the weather there whenever needed. Never once has it crashed or been unavailable as many others do. The pin of these locations is very accurate. Only negative is that I can’t use ‘family sharing’ and have to purchase pro version for each device. Having said that, it is a very low cost app. Highly recommended.
