A game where u get punished the longer you play
This game will punish you the longer you play with FIRE AFTER FIRE AFTER FIRE and go figure it happens in empty rooms so even when you try to get a dweller to stop it it spreads in 4 direction, also you can have 3 million power plants and you’ll be low on power and go figure it stops your stempak lab first no matter where it’s at. Trash game, don’t waste a dime.
Great game but it crashes daily now
I’ve been playing this for a very long time and never had issues before but now it’s kinda buggy and crashes 3 or 4 times a day every day now. What’s going on?
about the unbalanced fighting
I literally just witnessed my Mr. Handy lose HALF of his health JUST as a raider walks in, the raider didn’t even do anything, it sucks so much that when there’s an enemy in the room they slowly lose their health even when the enemy hasn’t done anything, and when the game gets harder this isn’t gonna be very good when they’re automatically losing health while getting pumbled by a deathclaw…
Good mechanics, Immoral universe
I grew up playing fallout 3 & new Vegas & 4 and even this fallout shelter game from the time I was in elementary or middle school until high school and even as an adult. I have downloaded this game, started a vault, and deleted the vault and deleted this game about fifty times or so (I don’t have an exact count). This entertainment series is sinful from a correct Abrahamic religious perspective, the makers need to read the Tanach & Biblia & Quran, however I will say that the mechanics of the series are cool. A clean game of this type would be good, something that doesn’t bother the conscience of an Abrahamist (ultra orthodox - Jew/Christian/Muslim) type of person. Biggest problems morally are that there’s no marriages and no genealogies, and the mutations of creatures (this is especially bothersome for me because I’ve used entertainment that causes serious conscience harm concerning unnatural things)

Mostly Great (lots of places for improvement)
I originally played this right when it came out and it was fun for a bit but I got bored pretty quick. It’s vastly improved since then. They’ve added tons of new content and mechanics, and fixed a lot of the little things that would get annoying before. I do have a few complaints that, if fixed, would make me perfectly happy to spend $20-30+ on the game. This isn’t a complete list, but I try to add to it when I notice things. 1) Some outfits are gender restricted and there’s no way to tell which ones those are until you try to put it on a dweller and it doesn’t show up as an option. While ideally all outfits should work on any dweller, if the restriction is going to exist there should be something to indicate that in the outfit information. 2) Total HP of a dweller isn’t visible anywhere. You can only roughly estimate based on a dweller’s endurance and level, but there’s no way to tell how much of an impact either has on HP. 3) When you assign someone to a training room there’s no indication of whether or not you’re replacing someone else, unlike when you assign someone to a production room. I’d love to see the same little icon indicator that you get for the other rooms so it’s easier to tell if a training room is already full. 4) The ability to sort dwellers by what weapon they have would make things way easier! My current workaround is to pick one dweller, equip a decent weapon, then go to change their weapon with the “equipped” filter, and trade with whoever has the lowest quality one. Then repeat. This is super tedious and it would be way easier if I could directly select a dweller based on the weapon they have 5) Selling set numbers of things!! Right now the options are to sell one or sell all. I’d love the ability to sell a set number so I don’t have to repeatedly click “sell one”
Not much to it.
There really isn’t much to do in the game to keep interest. Missions that take hours just to reach the destination, then dine in 5 minutes. Only for it to take hours to get back to the vault. After some time playing boredom enters the game as there is nothing to do but gather resources to keep the vault running. Not much to it. You will become bored sooner than later.

You don’t have to like fallout to enjoy this game it’s just a fun role-playing game.

A cute little game of managing a vault… without the sinister schemes
Gets old fast and ran by lazy developers
Played for a while. It’ll be fun for a few days or an event or two but everything gets stale fast. Combat scaling makes no sense and takes ages especially when a dungeon has a fight in every single room. Attack speed is way too slow even for max agility dwellers. Sometimes a room will take seconds and other times it’ll take several minutes with the same enemy types. The game has gotten so stale to even the devs that they’re recycling monthly events with no change to the event context or story. There is so much Fallout content to center events around but refuse to use anything other than fo4, 76 or TV show. Devs also can’t bother to make anything look distinctive for all the different variants of weapons or clothing

The game was working fine on my ipad , but after the recent updates it crashes after a few minutes all the time! I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it but it keeps crashing!

The game is really awesome and fun and I love that it’s a mobile fallout game but I think it could be better if there was a higher dweller capacity and more space downwards for your vault. I also think it kind of needs more quests
Would be great except I can’t get past the sexism!
This game could be really fun, but I just can’t get past how sexist it is. Every single one of the high level dwellers are male. Many quests require high level dwellers and there is not even on female dweller I can send. Of 80 dwellers, I have 15 over level 20. Only 1 is over twenty and not one is over 30. This is because all of the good legendary dwellers are male. Also pregnant dwellers hide in crisis. I would have enjoyed this game but the inherent sexism is too much for me.
Always dropping
I’ve played this game in the past, and loved it, but it would just close out of nowhere. So, thought it might be my old tablet, but it’s doing it again with this one. I’ve reported the bug over and over, but still not fixed.

Redownloaded after some years expecting that content would be released for this game. Only to find the minimal effort items behind yet another Bethesda pay wall. An exterior wasteland skin is behind a $10 season pass? Why did fallout shelter need a pass in the first place?

Please please Bethesda I have been a fan of your work for nearly 2 decades now and it saddens me to rate you so lowly but how unstable and periodically un-runnable this game and nearly every game this lot have put together. If I get a whole hour of uninterrupted gameplay and no crashes or softlocks I will fix the rating but good god please take some time to work out bugs.
Not a bad game
Like the title says, it’s not bad, the only thing that I dislike is how you can’t destroy the Mr handy inside the vault.

No ad rewards
The first few times I click on the optional ad to receive a reward. It did work, but now it’s glitching to the point where it will make me watch the ad multiple times with no reward and then the countdown until I can watch another ad for reward starts over.

This is the third time I’ll have written this review due to the review being closed out for some reason 😂 the code seems to literally rearrange itself to prevent you from succeeding. I had one of my characters die while he was being recalled and a raider tank three extra rooms of damage.

Great but Eh at the same time.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the game, I always have and I’ve played it for years but the one thing that makes me hate it at the same time and makes me delete it is : every single time I login to play, my bunker gets attacked by deathclaws, every single time first thing before I can even do anything. It wouldn’t be bad if it was just occasional, but every single time I launch it?? Seriously?? It’s stupid asf. I don’t mind the raiders or ghouls or the others that attack your bunker, because they’re easy and they don’t almost kill all of your dwellers before you finally get rid of them. I always take care of the death claws before I close the game but that doesn’t matter, it happens EVERY SINGLE TIME when I first open the game. It’s annoying and just ridiculous. This really needs to fixed. Death claws shouldn’t attack my bunker every single time first thing when I launch the game. It’s the most annoying bs and aggravating thing I have ever dealt with or even seen in a game. I love the game, I truly do, but this is just getting downright old and stupid. It just makes me want to stop delete it and just stop playing it overall. That’s the reason I keep deleting it and do stop playing for weeks, if not longer, at a time.
Fun Until Paywalls
This game is built around an interesting concept of being a vault manager and managing resources to keep your vault alive, and hopefully to thrive. Solid idea. Then wait mechanics set in. And you can speed them up by, you guessed it, micro-transactions. But wait, there’s more! If your vault falls or ends up in a bit of trouble, which WILL happen since the vault is online even when you’re idle! Don’t worry though—you can spend NUKA COLA BOTTLES (which you buy through more microtransactions) to “save” your settlement! You can integrate micro-transactions ethically, by making them entirely optional, cosmetic only, with more than enough content for free players so if you just want a bonus, you can just pay a bit to add some stuff. This game is solidly in the toxic model of F2P games. This game is pay-to-win. In other words… Bethesda pulled another Bethesda.

Tutorial Skip
Let there be a tutorial skip already. Or let us choose where the first room should be. Jamming a living quarter right onto the first floor and ruin the structure is just lazy designing.
Great but…
Possibly one of my most favorite games, had it for a long time, even saves on cloud, but a problem is after reloading on cloud, missing every LV 40+ plus some all stars LV 50 guy with some of the literal best weapons, even used in hard quest, all Lost. Besides that no glitches🙂

Sandbox mode?
The game is great how it is, but I believe if a sandbox mode was added, where you have unlimited caps, lunchboxes and access to spawn any dwellers, the game would be much more enjoyable. But in this sandbox mode you still have to provide necessities for your dwellers. Thanks for reading my review! And I hope my idea is considered- and better, added!!
