Changes your tennis experience
I got a 1 month trial, and after a month here is my review. - When I look at the recordings I learn a lot from myself, there is a difference with what you think you are doing and what you are actually doing, this feedback loops from watching you play can make you a better player - I can share my tournament matches with my close ones specially if we share the same hobby - The data you get can help you find patterns and improve your game. - The AI actually works UI/UX is functional, this area can be improved to give a great experience
Not Displaying Stats
This app was working perfectly for me, now no longer displays any stats once saved. It’ll the event, the duration, and nothing more. I’m not sure what went wrong with the update
Subscriptions features
I feel like the Plus tier subscription could offer all court line calls. Because has for now, there's really nothing more between the free and plus tier. Except for the cloud storage, which most people dont need anyway!
App is buggy and getting worse
This whole week of games, either the app stopped syncing with the watch or after processing it shows scores and then when I come back to it, all the scores are gone and suddenly the AI can’t process anymore… or in game I can see it glitch and randomly assign points. Still paying Pro hoping the tech team will focus on existing app quality and not just new features to try and make more money. Advice: hold on to your current customers first.
Good with flaws
It is far less accurate than it claims, which is a problem when auto scoring. Letting it auto score a match never ever works. It can also say my serves go over 120mph, lol. Uploading STILL takes forever, and most of the time it takes restarting the app a few times to begin at all. I normally need to wait ~12 hours before a recording is fully uploaded. And it will destroy your battery life so go in at 100% if your phone is to live more than an hour or two. IMO pushing more expensive tiers (aggressively advertised) instead of improving the core functionality is the opposite of you should be doing.
Great product
Fantastic product - love the distilled highlight video (can review match very quickly) and comprehensive set of metrics. Helps track progress and decide what needs practice. Highly recommend Some tracking will always have errors but a lot fewer than I’d expect in real world video analysis software Definitely recommend swing stick and positioning it high on the fence - made a big difference in accuracy
Warning: SwingVision Bricked My IPhone
SwingVision temporarily bricked my device. I selected a video recording of a tennis session to import. All of a sudden my screen went black, screen and all buttons were unresponsive. Held the power button for 10-15 seconds until the Apple logo appeared and it switched back on. ⛔️
Padel
It’s a good app, but it needs to be more Padel specific considering how popular PADEL is!
Confusing subscription options
Interested in upgrading to Pro or Semi-Pro but the subscription experience is a mess. No clear list of available plans - options appear randomly. Sometimes only yearly subscriptions show up, no monthly option. When monthly finally appears, it shows £14.99 for 3 months then £29, but at checkout only £29 is available. Very confusing and looks dodgy with hidden plans popping up everywhere. Also spotted a Semi-Pro plan on desktop that’s completely missing on mobile. Sort this out - it’s putting potential customers off.

Fantastic app and service
App is fantastic, cutting the footage automatically, line calls and the data/analysis is just as good. I used to record raw on the iPhone and clip points myself and this is worlds better, not completely without bugs/issues but customer service is excellent and you can tell the team are tennis players.
Unbelievably bad support
I really wanted to like this app and company, but unfortunately, they don’t seem to prioritize their users—especially paying ones. I recently upgraded to a Pro subscription ($180), and almost immediately ran into an issue where an upload didn’t display on my feed or process correctly. When I attempted to contact support, I was stuck in an endless loop with a chatbot that kept giving me the same generic responses. After a frustrating process, I finally managed to submit a support request. However, 48 hours later, I received an inaccurate response essentially stating that my recording was lost and there was nothing they could do. This was incorrect—I still had the recording and even provided them with a link, asking if they could help me reprocess it or guide me on how to do it myself. That was over three days ago, and I have yet to receive a response. For a company charging premium prices, this level of customer support is unacceptable. I expected better service, especially as a paying user, but instead, I’ve been met miscommunication, and a lack of accountability. I hope they improve as right now it feels like they don’t care.
Great product with a bit more polish
It’s rare you get a moment of joy when using a product for the first time. Seeing the highlights of a game between friends and all the data really was impressive. Here are a few recommendations I’d make as an iOS Software Engineer: - Add a camera toggle button to the Watch app - Default camera setting (based on the preference set using the feature before) - Make data syncing more obvious, it was a bit unclear in the app - Foot fault detection on serve: my friend foot-faulted on almost every serve, so it would be great to be told when this is happening. Good luck implementing happy to help if you need.

Slightly Disappointed
I had a similar experience to others. I’ve tried both the free and paid versions. I really love the app and the idea behind it, but I just can’t get past the bugs, which discourage me from using the app. A few times, I’ve encountered a blank screen instead of a recording or issues with uploading, resulting in completely messed-up scoring. The effort of setting up the stand and convincing the other player to agree to record the session—promising great stats and a recording—only to be disappointed afterward with no or poor recording, is frustrating. It doesn’t happen often, but it happens enough to stop me from using the app.
Just get the app!
Great way to learn about movement and placement.
Good idea, but very poor implementation
I like the features and UX of the app, but it is awfully buggy. It crashes in about 30% of my recordings, speed stats not visible in half of them. It is very slow even on 14 Pro. Every time I try to add my partner to the game the search first loading spinner for minutes showing some other persons and only after shows my friend who’s I add every single train.
Analyze technique
I want a way to analyze strokes more and like draw on it to show people what they are doing wrong
Constant lag
Great stats and shot analysis. Ruined by the freezing and speed up lag that happens after every point, which seems to be a new issue as this was not the case 4/5 months ago. This basically makes watching your game back incredibly frustrating. Additionally the cloud takes forever to process the game.
Mixed experience
Credit to the team for building this! I think it currently has pros and cons, at least in my experience. Pros: The video clips are an excellent way to understand your game and just view particular areas e.g. the longer rallies, backhands etc. You learn a lot by watching yourself. Cons: Hard to set up perfectly, a lot depends on where the fencing is at your club for installing the tripod. I play at two clubs and in both places, the fence is too close to the base line to get the full court into view. As a result, the setup comes up as 'suboptimal' and therefore the stats are off (also means I can't see myself in any shots behind the near-camera baseline, which is a lot of tennis time). You also do need an Apple Watch to get the most out of the product (e.g. for ensuring tripod angle is right if you have the tripod up high and can't see the screen from the ground), so if you don't have one, it adds to the overall cost. Overall, it's an interesting product and I'm sure it will improve in the years ahead but I've found it better for video analysis than the stats currently.

Would not recommend
Sadly the product stopped working with an iPhone and iPad and will not pair with each other. The technical support is awful just refering you to existing tutorials instead of answering the questions asked and attempting to resolve the specific problems raised. Complete waste of nearly £200 so would not recommend to anyone else
Doubles stat dubious
I primarily used Swing Vision to analyze my doubles matches and I am finding it dubious because it gave me percentages of returning serves from both deuce and ad sides when I only returned from the deuce side. Hopefully support can explain why that is happening or I find that this app is nothing more than a toy like a drone with 4K video camera attached to it. App making up stats that don’t exist.
Scoring no longer visible on free version
I’ve been using this app for over three years and have used both the paid and free version and have been part of the developer testers. I stopped using the paid version due to the difficulty in uploading and scoring glitches and have quite happily used the free version to keep testing and offering feedback. Unfortunately the latest free version although still offering 60 minutes of recording a month no longer shows any of the scoring that you enter, when viewed in the match playback, and so watching back footage is practically redundant. I so loved using this app but feel the push for the paid version with so many bugs and the now increasing features that have been prominent in the free version for so long been taken away make me not want to use this anymore. Such a shame.

J’adore cette appli pour tout le contenu qu’elle contient. Par contre, depuis un moment déjà, les enregistrements de mes parties ont des bugs. Lorsque je visionne l’enregistrement, la vidéo est saccadée et elle « saute » d’un échange à un autre, sans suivre le bon ordre chronologique. Par exemple, je visionne les 20 premiers « rallys », puis la vidéo bascule directement au 97e « rally » ….. Et ce à plusieurs reprises lors du visionnement. La vidéo bascule donc sur des « rallys » aléatoire, ce qui rend le visionnement long et agaçant.
Average
I’ve had this app for about six months. In my experience, the app has not worked well at all. It won’t load my matches, it won’t process, nor will it download. I also have been unable to share my content with other users I recorded with. I’ve contacted support and just now I’m being referred to an engineer to look at diagnostics after about one-two weeks of trying to fix the issue with their email replies. I have not been able to use the app for months, I think the service or urgency should be greater at this point. I don’t expect perfection and I understand it’s AI, so the accuracy or data is not exact, but I expect it to work and I expect it to not be inoperable for months without a solution. It’s an okay app from an idea perspective and if you want statistics that may not necessarily be accurate, or useful in your game. For me it hasn’t been what I thought so hopefully it starts working better so I can update my review with more accurate user experience. So far this is a two star and not just because of it not working.
Great app but my favourite feature removed
I think this app is fantastic but for some reason, the practice tracker on the Apple Watch has vanished. I loved this, thought it was really good to easily track what I’m doing in court without having to set up and record via my phone. Shame this has gone otherwise I’d give 5 stars. Big downfall for me unfortunately

Great fun and really useful
Love this app. It’s great to see how you play, review your technique and matches. Really useful for improvements I’ve made to my game. Still require some improvements, but the team are really responsive on Twitter and are making obvious feedback based changes. Some have been amazing, others are still being polished. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to improve their game. Nothing beats watching your own game when you are trying to improve.

the idea is great, but the cut between points beta feature completely ruined the footage- playback is extremely laggy and keeps jumping between random bits. also, the price is ridiculous and just exacerbates the inaccessibility of tennis.
Looks brilliant but haven’t got to use most features
I was most looking forward to reviewing my play with the video features. However I recorded 2 and a half hours of footage which I have been unable to watch any of.

Love the app but I often have sessions stuck in stasis with ‘ queued for upload’ messages - this is despite updating to the latest version and following the FAQs on ways to speed this up. I’m on a paid sub so would hope for better.
Amazing App
This truly is a great app! Very likely the best addition to my tennis full stop. The ability to review my shots and movement whilst on the court helps me adjust my swing paths almost in real time. How cool is that. Also if I’m having an issue with my serve or forehand I can review quickly and determine what I’m doing wrong. In my mind I’m usually hitting my serves like Roger and my forehands like Novak. This app very quickly disabused me of those delusions. Even when my coach (who is fantastic) thinks I’m playing well, I can review and critique myself and tell him what I think still need to improve on. Only two issues really. I’m not convinced how accurate the speed gun on the app is. It seems way off. Also, it would be great if line calls can be added to this app.
Nice idea but upload issues make unworkable at the moment
Great idea and some of the analysis is pretty cool, but if you can’t get your camera setup confidently and easily on a fence mount and can’t get videos uploaded after hours of trying then for me it makes the app unusable. The final straw was spending nearly a week trying to get a couple of hours of video uploaded to their cloud platform without success and despite help from the support team, that were keen to help, they were unable to resolve. I understand that not everyone has these problems, but a number do and until the upload of videos is sorted out, which is a pretty basic core function for this sort of app, then all the fancy AI stuff is irrelevant. Apparently it’s a known problem, but unresolved, and waiting for confidence that the team have resolved the upload issues so that after a game videos can be simply and effectively uploaded within a few minutes. Happy to try again when the team think the issues are resolved and waiting to hear back from the team as to when that might be … you may be lucky and your uploads work ok, as they do for a couple of pals, but however they also don’t for a few others … Feels like it’s worth persevering with as soon as they’ve fixed the core issues … but for now very frustrating and left with a fence mount that’s currently unusable …
Cheeky!!!
I just uninstalled the app. I had the premium version which I thought was good value for £4.99 pm. Then they suddenly increased the subscription to 9.99. Not only is this not good value, but it’s also cheeky. On a product that require no maintenance, has seen no upgrade, this is just extortionate. What? They were hoping people wouldn’t notice? They are probably going bust. So long.
Idea great, execution poor
This app is actually very nice. It’s really let down by poor performance and constant crashes. Slow to sync matches and just very poor stability. The users would benefit from some feedback when the app errors and I’m sure the developers works benefit from a user submitted crash report once in a while. Needs work!

Thanks for the great App, packed with great features and drills. But the App is very unreliable, it has been crashing half of the times. Especially, I have bought an Apple Watch for this App alone. I would definitely start the paying for the top subscription when these reliability issues are resolved and no longer is a thing. Sorry, 3 stars for now.
My favourite app
Brilliant app, the number one reason I love my apple watch. Sometimes a little buggy when updating/transferring matches across but I believe it is still in beta and is currently free. I would gladly pay for this app as a token of appreciation to the developers. I use the app for matches only and use the point+ system for some great statistics. I've not calibrated my swing yet so find the shot tracking rather inconsistent but I don't use the app for that, point+ statistics are far more useful.
Useless Customer Service
Good luck if you need support!! I recently had an issue whereby the scoring was totally wrong! Contacted support and after being asked to send a screenshot of the problem I never heard from them ever again!!!
V3 is a loads better
The developers have done a great job in responding to the limitations of the previous versions. The UI and general look and feel of the app has always been good but the shot detection was (very) off before - it’s not perfect now, but it’s way better than before, and I love the fact you can upload specific practice shots so as to increase accuracy of the app. Please keep up the good work - this is now comfortably the best tennis (shot detection) app for Apple Watch
Initial thoughts
So, I’ve just downloaded the app today and here’s my initial thoughts on first usage whilst using a tripod with my iPhone. 1. Am I meant to use the app in Landscape or Portrait mode? I wasn’t prompted by the app. Landscape felt more natural to me because that’s how I’d view the footage afterwards for a full screen with overlay. Unfortunately the app doesn’t seem to rotate the controls to landscape so I assume it’s meant to be recorded in Portrait. 2. When you’re using an iPhone and trying to set the camera up and follow the instructions it makes sense to be using the front (selfie) camera rather than the back one. However, it seems that the app defaults to the back camera. You have to keep flipping the camera each time and I can’t see a way of setting a preference in the app. This ends up being frustrating as you need to flip it every time to start a recording. The other thing is when you align the lines with the court service line the camera quality isn’t as clear as when the recording has started. It’s as if the setup screen is using a lower quality and it’s hard to setup the alignment. Very weird. 3. When you force start the recording I want to force start. I don’t want to be prompted to wait for the iWatch app. 4. The interface on the phone and watchOS is a little busy. Honestly, I want to setup recording and just go. I think the UX needs a little work. Perhaps some basic / advanced switch. It just seems to busy to me. 5. This is based on the YouTube reviews. It’s suggested that the free version gives you X amounts of hits free per calendar month. However, there’s other things to consider on the free version: there’s pop ups to suggest to set the recording to 60fps. However, when you click on this you’re prompted that it’s only payable the payable version. 6. Privacy. I think the privacy by default should be to NOT show your recordings to the community. Especially if kids are being recorded etc. The default needs changing here! 7. Solo hit. Would be nice to see other options; like solo forehand practise and solo backhand practise. I mean, we can all drop a ball and hit it. What I do like from the little I’ve seen: 1. The AI to workout the shot type. E.g. flat/slice/top spin etc. how accurate this is on 60fps (payable) vs 30fps (free) I don’t know, but so far it’s been pretty consistent and correct. 2. If it works (TBC) the watchOS app is nice if it actually starts the recording for the phone and also starts and tracks my workout data. Other: I’d like to see some kind of tips / analysis when looking at playbacks. Perhaps this is on the payable version? These are my initial views based on just my first usage of the app, and I feel it’s going to take a few more hits and setup testing before I depart with my hard earned cash. All in all, it’s just a bit too busy in the UX for me and the fact that you buy a years subscription! I don’t think it’s worth it. How is one meant to trial the pro and see if they think it’s worth it!?!? That alone is VERY VERY VERY cheeky!!! Let’s see if my opinion changes. To be continued… Update1: used the watch app today. Initially it gave me the camera view of my phone which was nice (albeit I had to switch the camera around again (annoying) but then after starting the second recording a lot of garbage was displayed on the watchOS app, and to be honest when you’re in the middle of court time you don’t have time to stand there and read watch messages. Just need a start, stop, pause. Again, just too much to faff around with.
