AI Slop-filled hot garbage
“Spellbinding, captivating, miraculous” etc The copy reeks of AI and the UX is awful. Developers should look at Roland Garros / French Open app. Not a great advertisement for IBM’s AI.

I would appreciate a dark mode being added for disabled users and for those who just don’t like the intensity of bright screens.
So complicated
This app is no user friendly. Some people should be paid to “keep it simple”. It says “in progress” instead of showing the scores. And it says “upcoming” instead of being specific. And ads on the radio is so sad, if ads makes you Americans think you are more advanced well, you totally failed me. I love listening to the radio of the big tournaments without ads so US open=Big fail, delete bye bye.
Ugh, hard to navigate & unavailable features!
This app has some good features when it works. For example, listening to the Osaka vs. Siniakova a split set a piece and the stats are unavailable I. The middle of the match. The last update on 9/2 still did not fix the inability to play imbedded video clips in the articles posted. The 3D simulation of play lags behind the scoreboard and the Radio commentary…

Labyrinth of frustration
Okay, it has a lot of balls to juggle, but finding the actual information you need is a struggle. Often you stumble on a useful view, but can’t remember how to get back to it at will. Starting times for matches are hard to find. The Grounds Map DOESNT EVEN DISPLAY THE COURT NUMBERS — though it identifies corporate stalls without fail. Do better.

US Radio coverage started at about 10:30EDT on 9/30/26. At 12:00 noon EDT, it was down. Down on website as well. What’s happen???
Incredible app!!!
I was at Fan Week so I used the app as a person on the ground. Now I’m home and using the app to track what I can watch from home. This is the most functional app I’ve used in years. I have marked who my favorite players are and the app tells me who’s on court that day and it’s so easy to keep track of who is playing when. It’s also easy to grab a ticket if you want access to the grounds or spring for a seat at Arthur Ashe stadium. You won’t be disappointed.
Buggy at the worst time!
too bad u can’t cut and paste to validate. Serena / Venus doubles match would not highlight as all other favorites players did and match updates just did not generate. App truly sucks

Disappointing and unnecessarily complicated
Did any person from us open looked at AO, Roland Garros or Wimbledon? This app could provide much better and cleaner look. To much data with unnecessary complicated look no specific times or dates in the right places.
One radio channel??
Unbelievable only one radio channel is offered. This is a grand slam! The website overall is cumbersome.

Useless App
The authors of this App obviously have never used the Wimbledon or French open app
Display of scores
I often record matches to watch later and don’t dare use the app for fear of seeing the end score before I watch it.
Crashes constantly
Good information, but the app keeps crashing. Have to go to the website instead.
Print too small
This app is absolutely fine with the information that it can deliver, but the print is too small and there’s no way to increase it. Using the text increase on an iPhone, doesn’t work.
Clever Design
They’ve added a toggle for “At Home” vs “At the Stadium” which switches how scores and other information is displayed - super helpful!
Please add search
Leaving a 1 star review because it’s ridiculous there’s no search function.

Good for scores and tickets but only problem on some phones it doesn’t work to have the score on Lock Screen

Fantastic features that require some key tweaks
As a huge tennis fan, I’m amazed it’s taken me this long to install the Open app. That being said, after using it halfway through the Open, Im really happy I found the app and site as it’s such a key addition to the experience. However , I’m a bit let down as it doesn’t offer some very basic info that other sports apps do. Though I entered my location (Vancouver, Canada), it only shows Eastern Standard start times for upcoming matches. It also doesn’t show scheduling past the current day (on the iPhone at least). It’s extras are wonderful and I’ve spent hours looking at player bios, virtual tour of the grounds, but for crucial info and planning, I’ve had to use apps like The Score for accurate match start times and upcoming games. These are things that really should be there. Perhaps I’m missing some tweaking on my end? Anyhow, fix these key aspects and it’s an easy 5/5 app.
Schedule doesn’t look ahead
This app doesn’t show the upcoming schedule for matches which are planned for upcoming days. Would be better if expected dates and times could be published in the bracket so we know when to tune in for matches .
2025 problems
For the past few days, I’ve been getting “access denied“ errors every time I try to open the schedule. Very frustrating.
Suggestion
Excellent app. However, I would like an option to find only my favourites in daily order of play in addition to all the other players.

Barely useful
I feel like this app is designed for people who are actually there and wanting to buy tickets and know where they’re going. It’s really good at giving you the bare minimum of information you’re looking for. Is it so hard to make a bracket page to see what’s happening in the tournament? Live scoring works well.
No adjustment for visually imp people to increase the fonts size or turning sideways phone side

I downloaded the app for this year’s open and wanted to start following the qualifying round. Instead, the app is giving me the final results from 2025!

This app feels like a clunky web app from 2012, not a slick and clean iOS app from 2022. Next time hire a real app developer for a big-time tennis event.
Terrible interface
The app interface is terrible and hard to navigate. No way to see future scheduled dates and times beyond tomorrow.
