Apple 8 update
I have a apple 8 I phone and can’t access update, how can I update my Wimbledon app?
Not supported on older ipad
My current ipad does not have the required IOS for the updated app. Disappointed as I will not be upgrading a perfectly good ipad which functions perfectly for everything else.
Excellent app, however…
Great app with a wealth of information. Works almost perfect both with iPhone and iPad. However, if you attempt to go to the Wimbledon Shop from within the app, it will open up the Safari browser if that’s your preference. Although, you won’t be able to access your account or login, as Safari by default, Prevents Cross-Site Tracking. You can only access your account if you disable; “Prevent Cross-Site Tracking”. But then, that may open up all sorts of trouble with your security and privacy from other sites. This app’s devs will need to look into this matter, as most people won’t know how to disable Cross-Site Tracking. Minus 1 Star because of this but otherwise, a great app.
Really poor app
Lacking any intuitive flow. Difficult to easily see which matches are which court at which time. Glitchy. On the final Saturday it said there were no matches planned on the final Sunday!
Some annoyances
2 annoying things in this app. When showing match scores, the set numbers are in the middle. It’s distracting and no one, anywhere has EVER done this before. Put set number above first score line. #2. Please display match times in app time zone. No user wants to do math to figure out when the match us on.

Good but room for improvement
Overall a good app very useful especially to keep track of the plays and courts. Frustrating at times as it can be a bit slow which was annoying, especially while I was at Wimbledon trying to get updates. Also there were a few time when I wanted to only keep up with a few courts and I noticed I couldn’t easily select multiple courts in one smooth and quick action, it was just letting em to it one at a time and after I click one it reloaded and took me to the top of the page again and I would have to scroll down to get to the courts that were at the bottom of the list. Another thing I think would’ve been useful is being able to set up alerts when a play is starting or a play/match has ended and the next one is beginning shortly, there was a doubles match I was waiting to watch but was walking around the grounds and at activations and I constantly kept checking the app to see if the current match was close to being finished so I knew when to make my way to the entrance and queue to enter
Glitchy
Half the functions don’t work. Stats are missing, special features or stories won’t open or play and it’s not intuitively easy to find information. I expected better from the All England Club
Set number placement confusing
The set number is placed between the 2 scores in a slightly smaller font - does anyone else find this confusing? This is normally not included- see the results score. It's driving me crazy. Also- please add the date to the upcoming matches.

Poor Upgrade
Forced me to do a so called upgrade. I now can’t open it as it keeps telling me it needs an upgrade. Great right in the middle of Wimbledon. 🤬

Good app but needs polish
The app is decent for tracking matches and seeing results, but there’s still work needed. There’s no clear indication for when matches are postponed due to darkness or weather, which can lead to confusion based on the posted schedule vs. the results. There’s also a very poorly made widget that this app apparently has - it has only the time and “favorite emoji”, as if someone was messing around and pushed a test to production. Doesn’t look good, especially during the single time of year this app is used.

Can’t view my tickets app doesn’t work
Why can’t you make the app available to any iOS?? I now cannot see my tickets to Wimbledon as I have ios17… so not sure how I will get in!
Great app - love the radio
We don’t have a cable service and we don’t subscribe to the correct levels of service that would allow us to watch Wimbledon, so this app is my lifeline! Radio Wimbledon is always delightful anyway. Developers please note: this app lists compatibility with Apple TV OS, but the AppleTV app hasn’t been updated since 2019. Please pull it from the App Store!
Sets
Why did they decide to put the set number right in the middle between the scores? I absolutely hate it! It is absolutely unnecessary and just makes it harder to read the score. Looks like this was done just to be different. A “stylistic exercise”. Big fail in my book. Just keep is simple
Wimbledon 2026 App
The latest upgrade is not compatible with Apple iPhone 13.The app worked perfectly well in 2025 with my Apple iPhone 13. Does AELTC test ( before release)upgrades to the Wimbledon app for compatibility with all popular iPhones? So instead of accessing my digital tickets in advance , I will have to queue up at the gate , wait for my guest to arrive & then wait to be given physical tickets.So if I or my guest are delayed, access to the venue is denied.This seems unfair.There could be hundreds of spectators with the same problem. On the other hand the latest version of the LTA Courtside App is compatible with my Apple IPhone 13.

Actually got to go to Wimbledon this year and this app was very helpful.
The updates make it much worse
I used to be able to use this app to navigate around the grounds during the championships. The maps are now hidden away behind insta style displays that don’t work intuitively, I eventually that take you off the app to an in-app web browser that is so badly designed you can’t even click away from the cookies screen to view the map. This is a perfect example of enshi**ification.

Loved this app in the past. Despite updating the app, all I can see is 2023. No 2024 scores at all. I hope this can be rectified soon!
Does not work on older iOS
App will not load on older iPad iOS 17.x. As 6Gen iPads cannot load iOS 18 (even though they are still supported by Apple) this relatively simple app cannot be used to follow scores and order of play in 2026. Don’t developers think before acting?

Doesn’t work any more
We have used this app for a long time to follow Wimbledon, but it doesn’t work now because our iPad is not the latest model. There is no reason why the app should need the latest technology; it has worked fine for years and years. You are just forcing your older impoverished users to buy a shiny new box which they don’t need for anything else. Why not think of your audience and stop peddling bloatware? Footnote: for simple users, if you put a bookmark for wimbledon.com on your home screen you will wonder why you ever used the app.

Update not working.
This latest update downloaded today just makes the app crash for me. New phone. Up to date iOS. Very frustrating. Crashes as soon as you try to open it. Usually the app is great. Come on Wimbledon. Ready for this years tournament… well I would be if the app worked. 🥲

Update is shocking
Fence tho date has changed the colours and the way the info available on the schedule page. It looks cheap, bull colours. I would say updated by YTS who has never seen Wimbledon or a tennis game. Shame as the app performs quite well but the update is lazy, and visually disappointing.
Watson is irritating
I really dislike the Watson Likelihood to Win predictions. Just let the athletes play and let people spectate without pre-judging.
Disappointing
Hadn’t improved over the 2023 version. Still freezes scrolling frequently. Can’t filter live scores by category. DEI silliness so it always defaults to ladies data. Draws were not broken into quarters, the standard for 128 man draws.
Clunky app!
Don’t find this app as intuitive as other Grand Slam apps - think French is probably the best for logical navigation

I want the old app back
I agree with everything Marge247 says in their review. Hate the new app, it’s all over the place. Why change what was a perfect app previously? Dreadful update.
Nice app but
App is fine - the look and feel is polished. But not sure why the ‘results’ tab is not on the first menu bar (it is hidden in the ‘more’ item but given finding out results is the main purpose of the app it is should be on the main page).
Cannot stop notifications
Asked multiple times to stop notifications, but the app does not comply. I get emails as well.

The app demands iOS 18.0 which is on my iPhone..which is too small to navigate. It demands the iPad updates to 18.0 ..but there is NO 18 for iPad yet

App is great! Just a thought … Is it possible for the starred * favourite players in “more” section to also be automatically starred in “order of play”.
Slow, missing content
Design is pleasant looking but it takes 20 seconds to load your ticket while you miss the changeover. The “Draw” section also doesn’t update the subsequent round bracket as players win matches.
Could be improved.
I like that I can flag my favourite players once again. I feel it could be more straight forward when I wake up in Australia wanting results. It tells me there are no current matches being played - well DERRR. I know that. Too much info that I don’t want or need. All I want is who one each match and the score. I felt last years ap. was better and easier to navigate…

This app provides the most perfect coverage of my very favourite sporting event of the year! Live action, results and timings .. infact anything you need to know about the championship…are all perfectly covered and it is so very straightforward to navigate! Not quite a replacement for actually attending and watching live play but it really enhances this most amazing two weeks in the British sporting calendar! Thank you so much! 🎾🎾🎾❤️❤️❤️
Scores page unusable on iPad
The new design has destroyed the live scores page as they are shown in a single column now, instead of the grid layout last year. I used to be able to see the scores for up to 15 matches at once on my iPad but now can only see 3 or 4.
