TOP PICKLEBALL APP
BEST PICKLEBALL APP THAT EXISTS.
Fix unskippable startup advertisement
This app gets one star until they fix the unskipable startup ad. As soon as you open the app there is a full screen blue advertisement and no way to close or exit it. users are forced to sign up for an unnecessary membership plan or uninstall the app. This is either a bug or (worse) an intentional scheme to force users into subscribing to their membership that is not needed to interact with DUPR. please fix.
Bring back graph
Fun but bring back the graph or even an improved graph to track progress and statistics. All my friends are envious of the one person whose phone didn’t update. He sends graphs to the group but we’d all like to be able to see our own.
Creating a new account as a kid
The sign in for kids 12 and below is complicated and takes too long to create an account. Im 2 weeks away from being 13!! Just let me sign in!
Canceling subscription
How can I tell if my subscription was successfully canceled? There is no confirmation info available, unlike with other apps.
What’s Your DUPR?
Very helpful app to get yourself rated and to connect with other pickleball players!
Terrible System
The current algorithm actively makes the tournament scene for pickeball worse
Latest Updates
Like the new look, career high & age banded rating. Miss the graphs indicating change from previous rating. Have used the forecasting tool and would like this enhanced to enable forecasting a doubles match with other players while I sit out and players are rotating I.e. games I may be watching but not yet scheduled to play in.
App is essential so they behave like a minopoly
Don’t expect response or even acknowledgement when logging issues.
Better before
Latest update removed a lot of great features. I loved the timeline that showed your progress over time and being able to easily see how each match affected your rating . Now you have to click into each match to see how it affected your rating and the history chart is completely gone . I hope they bring those back .
Sign up cannot proceed.
New user here, upon signing up the app might closed.
Can’t get past forced subscription screen
I’m just trying to make an account to find tourneys and get rated. I can’t access the app because there’s a pop up window asking me to get a one year subscription. On an app which I’m barely trying to understand how to use. I’ve opened and closed and still get the same pop up every time. Trash.
Erroneous Update Request
Pop up continually displays asking me to update to the latest version even though I have already done so.
Used to be a Great app, now a disaster
The App after its latest update is simply terrible User experience. 1. Cannot see my progress over period, a nice graph was removed 2. Each match used to show on top the Dupr impact, now u need to click and wait for it to load and then see. 3. Slow to load matches and i waste time to see each match and the impact 4. Marketplace is terrible and slow
Have to purchase for Newbie?
Why when I downloaded, the apps require me to subscribe? Get I get the free version?
Bring back ratings history graph!
I love the DUPR app. Unfortunately from version 1.9.34 onwards the rating history graph has been removed, plus each match no longer shows the rating impact of the score on the main match list. This is a big step backwards in the functionality and appeal of the app. Please bring those back!
Reinstalled app. No option other than to pay?
After reinstalling the app, there’s no option to to bypass the Dupr+ signup. It’s trying to force people to pay rather than to use the free service.
Great and reliable worldwide pickleball rating system
I found this app useful, could be improve from system bug, somehow need to refresh as the data are not displayed correctly. Reliability function perhaps need to use grade systems of low, mod, high or actual rather than small circle of percentage.
Why is this a pay app
It is not that great that is should be a paid app.
Takes too long 2-3 days to complete the rating calculation than before
I m paid member And it Takes too long 2-3 days to complete the rating calculation than before. Pls fix
Bad business practice
It is extremely disappointing. My card was charged today despite my previous explanation that I was misled into clicking a link to "Reset my DUPR." I accessed that link assuming it provided further information, not that it would trigger an immediate registration and charge. It is a poor business practice to use misleading information to gain clicks without providing users a chance to review potential charges before processing a payment. I feel it is necessary to report this lack of transparency regarding your billing process. I am requesting a full refund as I never intended to register for this program.
Ratings
Algorithm needs to change. People who are much better than their dupr are playing in tournaments and doing well and it’s causing others duprs to plummet. 3.5’s shouldn’t be allowed to play in 4.5 tournaments. Things need to change

Few bugs & improvements needed
The app is overall good. There a few bugs though. Most annoying one is when you register a game and the app freezes. Biggest improvement needed is to be allowed to see how validated a game or not when it is pending. Way too much ads after the update.
Great App and service
Awesome app with great customer service
Terrible
Unusable on mobile due to being unable to get past paid service subscription screen.
Frustrating Experience
The app has promise, but there are too many ads that disrupt the experience. Even basic tasks—like changing your profile name—are harder than they should be. There’s no notification bell or centralized place to see updates, which makes it easy to miss important info. Navigation feels clunky, and the interface can be confusing at times. For an app meant to support the pickleball community, it still needs a lot of polish. The idea is great, but the execution falls short for now. June 2025
One of the best apps
Universal truth of Pickleball ratings
Absolutely Predatory
They have designed the app so that it appears to new sign ups that they can only register by signing up for the paid premium version, making it impossible to exit the screen without shutting down the app. If it were a larger company, there would be a class action lawsuit.
Bad functionality
When adding matches, unable to search my own friend list instead need to search the whole database. Waste a lot of time finding friends. After adding a match, the ‘new match’ window is always open even thought I click the ‘cross’ to close the window or ‘ok’ button, the window still remains.
Good app
Could do with a feature to notify other players that they have pending matches to verify
Scam
It’s forcing me to pay DUPR+, I don’t see an x
Too hard to find player
Too hard to find player. Please Support more ways to connect and find friends like: scand QR code,…
Western Australia experience
Love the idea of DUPR now teaming with the other organisations- want to use it more here in Western Australia- but problematic with payments being restricted to US Dollars and need more options for organised play and tournament format. The model the boys (Troy & Steve) use with multi partner round robin works well. I run another venue with 30 + players regularly and would like to set up something similar. Craig Cobern Chair - Pickleball Association of Western Australia
Data relevancy
My club recently reinstated the DUPR system to sign up for leveled play. They had this years ago (3) and we played some DUPR matches to get a rating for leveled play. 3 years later, those old scores from when I was a beginner are dragging down my rating. Those scores should be excluded from my rating as they are not relevant. If I were to play competitively the rated level that would be called sandbagging.
Verify email?
I have verify my email upon registration. No issues creating an account. But upon accessing certain features it requires me to reverify. However, after receiving the email and verifying it, it doesn’t get verified, clicking “already verified” only changes the font color to red but it’s still not verified. Literally stuck.
