- Ads pop up every few minutes
- Free version limits you to one note
- Premium price feels too high for features
So Great for Zoom Meetings
What a great app. I have to do a lot of pitching at various Zoom meetings, and it’s so nice to be able to put a document into this app and look straight at the screen, and at the people I’m pitching to, while I am pitching an idea or a project. No more looking down at my notes, losing my place, being distracted!
Font Size
Cant see how to change the font size
Good app for the most part
Does what is intended to, but I wish you could pin notes. The constant reorg of notes to the last one edited is crazy annoying, and also wish you could export all of them as a backup file to save them, because right now I have to copy/paste them into word and then delete them all to start over, which is frutrating. I
Want to love…but major limitations
A great little app BUT there’s no way to truly format for HEADLINES. The only formatting we get is Bold, Underline, & Highlight. Wish it had an outline mode; numbers outline; etc. I think this could be the single greatest app if there was a “Markdown” or Rich Text prospect. If what you need is truly simple, go for it. If you want something more complex, look elsewhere!
List of Notes
It would be great if you can have an order (list) in the left window that doesn’t move
Efficient
Helpful for my interview
Useless
The app advertises itself as being a transparent overlay for notes, but on mobile it literally just becomes a widget and doesn’t do what it says it does
Please add formatting!
I love you guys but when I need to do lectures on zooms and use my notes I like to feel like formatting helps my thinking. Please add formatting or Markdown support. Current subscriber but who knows…. 🙏🏼
Note o
I bought the paid version and was a disappointed since overall it is a good app but is difficult to use because the order of the notes change as soon as you click on the note. Also, there is no way to arrange the order of the notes. I am using Mac / Tahoe 26.2
Partially works!
Unfortunately, does not help when you are presenting with google slides.
I love this.
I use this for whenever I am presenting online and don’t want to look like I’m reading off of something.
APP CRASHES FROM DAY 1 AND I EVEN PAID FOR PREMIUM!!!
I regret downloading and using this app. It crashed from day 1 of using it and I even bought the premium. What a waste of money. Another free item actually worked perfectly well. Do not recommend this app to anyone
I like it for it's simplicity
it doesnt let me do bold, italic, lists. it's very basic but i like it and use it more than my notes app.
Lacking features, lacking basic keyboard functionality, not aesthetically pleasing.
Lacking features, lacking basic keyboard functionality, not aesthetically pleasing. I really have no idea how this has a score of 4.8. You can’t even create new “elements” (as they’re called) with simple keyboard short cuts like command+N, or simply hitting return. You have to use the mouse constantly. I’m not a fan of the aesthetic at all. No offense, but this just isn’t useful, fast, or pretty.
colour
Add colour, I want to highlight topics, or some words.
Review
Great App
Pop ups on Paid Version- hinder work
I can’t understand why I keep getting a notification with a huge monkey on my screen every 2 minutes to try another app while I pay for this app each month. Very annoying!
no pdf
can not upload picture
good idea but infuriation pop-ups
started out fine, but every two minutes this hideous ai ad will pop up, followed by a SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE PROMPT. for a notes app. jesus christ. hopefully someone will make a better version.
Formatting Please
Definitely need formatting options. Bold, bullets, underline etc... I was hoping the paid version would give us those capabilities.
I love this app
I love this app so much. It has helped me overcome my anxiety over speaking for interviews, school projects, just about everything. Please don't go away!
Girl, This Pricing Model is Trash
One Note, girlies? I only get one note in the free basic tier? 1 Note? Like a singular note for a whole notes application. You didn’t call your app “Transparent Note”. You named your app “Transparent Notes.” Why offer the download for free? You have every ability to make a “Transparent Note” app which would actually provide some transparency with the free download option. You in danger girl. Ya’ll better work this out. Cuz it’s a bit embarrassing, tbh.
nice
nice app. teleprompter is not free, you have to pay for it. hack: don't be dissuaded that you can only make one note. just copy your notes to other places.
Extremely basic and buggy app
For what you get at the price, it is an extremely skimped out app with basic features that don’t even work. Editing notes while browsing website will reset the website every few inputs. Completely useless app
Formatting
we need formatting styles here, bullets, bold, underlines etc.
Making my online interactions great
I'm an online health coach, and having a list of questions for my client without breaking eye contact is very important.. This app makes that very possible..
Just eh
You can’t bold or underline within the notes. It’s just convenient because it’s transparent.
Pretty good and simple note app
Title says it, but one thing I'd like to see is a way to make the font in a note be variable. Be good to have bold, underline, and underline, as well as a couple size differences.
You cannot share the note or move it anywhere else
In order to have any value, the content needs to be able to be moved to other applications or to your computer or to your iPad. Just leaving your notes on a Vision Pro is not helpful enough.
Good App
This is a good app. But HIGHLY over priced for the premium offer. I mean HIGHLY OVER PRICED!
Love But Want to Buy ONCE. Likely will deleat if renewal fees become a thing
and theere you have it
Teleprompter does not work
Paid just for that and it doesn’t work.
Note Review
Love the simplicity and user friendly interface. I would love more word processing options in editing mode.
I dont like that im allowed to write just one note on the free version
I dont like that im allowed to write just one note on the free version
There’s no back up
My laptop shut down on me, I couldn’t get the charger to work, so I had to use my iPad. I was unable to log into my Transparent account, I was being prompted to take another annual Premium subscription, when my current annual premium subscription is not used up. Even when I contacted Transparent, I got no help, I was told I should have saved my entries on cloud. I don’t remember reading anything like that when I subscribed for the App. They really need to let people know that you can lose all the information you have and that you can’t log back into your account. I’m very disappointed, I’ve lost very important information I need and can’t ever access again. Not nice.
awesome!
i love how it is transparent, but you should definitelty try to make a setting to get rid of all the icons at the top and bottom otherwise it takes away from the transparency.
Not fair
Only one note free
cant delete notes once created
the notes just keep piling on with no way to delete the on my macbook
Can't Change Font Size or Color
I like the premise, but I'm using this against a black screen so it won't work for me. Strange that you cant change the font color or size. Bummer
Decent App
Good app, works well for Zoom interviews. Dumb that you have to pay $10/month for more than one section of notes. Not everything has to be a subscription.
Great for Interviews
If you have trouble remembering what to say in interviews, try this tool.
Do NOT Install; Do NOT Invest
Yet another developer with questionable business acumen. When will developers, particularly independant developers, understand the importance of sensible pricing models? As of the time of this review, $99 USD for lifetime ownership. That would be ten years worth of updates. Considering how quickly technology changes, it would be unwise to purchase ten years of updates in advance. Furthering that point, the developer is clearly disconnected with the realitive of his target audience. Based upon the collection of reviews, it's clear this app appeals to students, whom are less likely to have disposable funds -- hence the reason more business saavy individuals offer student pricing. Something clearly missed by the dev of this app. Want my advice, either stick with the free version or seek other note taking options such as Tot or FiveNotes. This app is too limited in features and practical use to invest beyond the free version. Basic economic principles suggest consumers drive cost. It is up to us consumers to drive down cost by not spending unwisely. In my opinion, it would be unwise to spend what's being asked for such limited product. Do NOT purchase or subsribe until the dev provides more sensible pricing model.
I use it for my Zoom presentations.
Its really easy and self explanatory to use. The only thing I would like it to have is more customization options to highlight certain text or use two or more color options.
Crashing
Frequent crashing when clicking premium feature buttons
Great app but..
Easy to use but it doesn't float on top when you toggle between screens. I normally have my screen split and am looking for a quick note tab that I can keep quick notes all on one screen (allow me to have a full screen split plus my note on top) right now it only works with floating on a main screen.
Got me through school
has helped me in school so many times!! hands down my favorite app
Font color is white - can't change it
The app was great for a few days but the font color automatically changed to white one day so cannot see it. And cannot change it back to black.

not so good
If only they would let you have more than 1 page
