Subject: Data Loss Issue: Blank Slides, Missing Audio, and Random Crashes Review: Explain Everything occasionally crashes, some slides turn blank white, and audio recordings disappear from certain slides. This has affected multiple projects and caused loss of content. Please investigate this issue.

Great app, but Android users having trouble
I have been benefiting in my teaching with EE for more than three years now. I find it reliable and really helpful. I have recommended it to friends who say that they cannot download it to their tablets from the Google store. I was disappointed because I want them who are also teachers to benefit from it as well.
Make Lifetime Subscription One-time Purchase
I genuinely believe Explain Everything is one of the best and most powerful digital whiteboard tools available today. The features, flexibility, and overall polish are fantastic, making it indispensable for educators, creators, and professionals who need dynamic visual explanations. The problem, however, lies in the pricing model. Requiring a mandatory annual subscription of $69 USD per year just for essential features like "unlimited notebooks" is an entry barrier that is too high for many, especially those who only need the app periodically or who are budget-conscious (like independent educators or students). I urge the development team to seriously consider offering a one-time, perpetual license (or "lifetime purchase") option. While I understand the need for recurring revenue to support ongoing development, a high upfront cost to permanently unlock core power-user features like unlimited notebooks would be highly valued by your dedicated user base. This model would allow users who love the app but can't justify a recurring annual fee to invest in the tool permanently. Thank you for building such a useful product. I hope you will introduce a more flexible pricing structure soon!
Enjoying it but…
I like this program but it needs a way to bulk clear what I have written on the board so I can use the base again for the next class. For now I just create 6 similar versions of the project… Also it would be great to have it save projects across my various platforms
Buggy
The app would randomly do odd things, like my background just turned black, the finger tool stopped moving object and would only select even if it was not in select mode. The top menus was overlapping the lock and battery icons so it was hard to tap on them. Maybe work on making this app better instead of trying so hard to make me pay for it with constant pop ups and restrictions. Adding the pop-menu for Apple Pencil Pro would also be nice. Very disappointed because the ability to use it as a whiteboard in airplay it probably the only good things is has going for it.

Best app for private tutoring
I started using EE many years ago with my first iPad in a regular classroom. Now I use it extensively to present and record content for my private tutoring students. I wouldn’t use anything else.
Money Pit
This is another example of being charged piecemeal on a subscription basis for something that was once a core function of a Promethean Board. No real added function and not particularly user friendly. Everything is directed towards cloud storage which is great in some circumstances leaves functionality vulnerable to network failures.

This is an amazing app I always use it for school, but now it says to pay. So at school time I had to use another app, please fix this.
Pretty Good App
I really like the set up of the app. The only part l do not like and is so frustrating is that it freezes at times and will not allow you to do anything! You cannot pick backs up where you left off when it finally decides to reset. When you are one a time table, this is so aggravating.
A Teacher’s Best Friend
I project my laptop and then “collaborate” on the same whiteboard from my tablet. That way I can switch between a whiteboard and my applications seamlessly. I can even write while facing my students now. I love it!
I like the application but it can use some improvement.
I sometimes end up losing some of my project. They simply disappear without me deleting them. I have no idea why this happens and it’s very hard to get any support. Also the application tends to freeze very often which is quite frustrating when you have a group of 20 plus people in front of you waiting.
I like the gifs, their cool but a lot of stuff is pricey.

Add a One-time Lifetime Purchase Option
It's a good and helpful app. It just needs the following: - The option to pay once and have lifetime access. - The ability to copy some slides (with their audio recordings) from one project and paste them to another project. Thank you!

It is impossible to learn how everything works. Even with help from the app itself I cannot get the info I require. Otherwise the app benefits me as for school projects.Once you know how each part works. I still don,t know how some parts work. Can you create the same version but easier to use?

HORRIBLE APP
I was using this website for work on the computer for multiple days and suddenly it won’t let me open my project. I finally get the app on my phone to finish and it resizes everything won’t move where I want it to and the scale is different than the computer. This is genuinely one of the worst apps and websites I have ever used and so frustrating. So annoying to have the project i’ve been working on over multiple days be ruined.

Sad fate for once great software
EE used to be great. But the current owners really don't seem to understand the needs of their user base, and they have failed to address major software bugs the last two years. A sad end to what was once a fantastic app.
Every teacher should have
A great and easy tool! I teach nursing and love it to do lessons that flow based on questions. I can easily adapt to the classroom and keep notes of where we went with conversations.
Impossible to figure out
At least on an iPad. Even with ChatGPT assist. Waste of time, energy and money. I just paid for a year. Awful!
Good for teaching but some bugs
I have tried a few programs for making content videos for my class, and this program is the easiest to use. You can edit your videos as you go without any need for additional video editing software. There are sometimes bugs that cause the program to close unexpectedly, and when this happens I sometimes loose all of my recorded content since the last save. It is very frustrating when it happens, through it doesn’t happen too often and I’ve adapted by saving more frequently.
Great App, Bad Pricing
I honestly love this app for creating lessons for my classroom. There is none other like it in the App Store. Unfortunately, I have a hard time recommending this app due to the pricing. What is the exact reasoning as to why Explain Everything Basics was retired? If I am storing all of my projects on device, what services require a subscription? As an individual teacher, I can’t afford to pay a subscription. Promethean, please please please consider bringing back a one time purchase option. I will update my review if that happens.

explaining everything is a cool introduction to digital art but lacks a wide variety of styles and tools
Second Whiteboard
I use this app everyday in my classroom. It replace the need for a document camera. It’s integration with Google Drive and YouTube are features that are most helpful to me. I’m able to create instructional materials and save and upload them in an organized way. If you’re on the fence about this and have a Tablet and projector, I’d say make the investment. Pro Tip: get a paper like screen protector. Makes writing on your tablet feel so much more natural.
Horrible. Unannounced changes, unreliable, STAY AWAY
I’ve been a paying user for 6 years, and this app just continues to get worse and worse, and this trend only accelerated after being acquired by Promethean. For example, up until recently, I was able to collaborate with students for an unlimited amount of time, now I’m restricted to 30 minutes and then I’m kicked out. This is one of many unannounced changes. Do not pay for this app

Hi I am Magicalells and I think that Explain Everything is a really nice app BUT it could have some changes like videoing your face or some like that but that’s all so byee!
The advanced plan doesn’t make sense
I bought the advanced plan so now I am paying double the amount, the “engagement apps” are 3 apps that are laggy and can’t be viewed when mirroring the view to an external display on iPad
My Review For This App!
I used to have another version with a lot more features, and I bought it for 20 dollars. But now, it's a subscription. After i got a new iPad, I couldn't download it again, so I downloaded this instead. I mean, it's not bad, but 1 slide per project!? I'm sorry, but that's just annoying. Also, everytime I open the app, I get an annoying ad asking me to upgrade! I really want the old one back. Thanks for reading!

just wish you had more control over text size (i have to copy and paste other text in order to retain text size after i zoom). maybe you could make an option to have static text sizes (or make it similar to the drawing brush size when you zoom. every time i zoom, the text size always changes, even if im in the same zoom level)

It only made me a limit to three projects. it wants me to do $69 a year After the seven day free trial so why do I have to pay a lot of money a year just to do more than three that’s stupid. Good whiteboard app
This is an amazing whiteboard app except there is a lot of in app purchases that come up so if a child was using it they could have to pay but overall great app and would recommend
features removed constantly one by one since first install installation.
this used to be a great app in the free version, for individuals who are not making money teaching, but who wish to spread knowledge. Now they put so many restrictions to try to get paid upgrades and subscriptions that it’s almost on usable. Oh well, there are workarounds.there always are. When the company gets too greedy people start finding workaround. I have mine and I’m not saying what it is because I’m not paying for an upgrade for something I once had for free.

GREAT APP
I love this app very much. It is my number one drawing/creating app. If you are wondering what this app does then it is similar to canva but to much better. This app has so many more features than many other apps and really does explain everything! If you are needing to make something for work٫ or to make a presentation for school or are simply just wanting to create or draw something and have fun then this is the perfect app to do that. In this app, you can add anything you want to a simple white document or an already started document and if you don’t know how to use the app, you can click a button and it will explain everything for you. I know this review is starting to get lengthy but I have much more to talk about this wonderful app. Even if you do not want to make any presentation or any document, then you can draw on this app. You can find a picture or a drawing/clipart to trace over it, delete the picture and you’ll have a really good picture or a really good drawing, or you can simply just free draw. This app is so much fun. I am seriously exited because there’s so many things to do on this app. If you read this whole review thank you because I know this is really long to wrap this up, this app is amazing. I am so excited to use it.
No One Time Purchase Option
The subscription only plan is unfortunate. I don’t need to store my projects on the cloud, I don’t need to collaborate with anyone, and I honestly don’t need many of the “bells and whistles” that go along with whatever a subscription plan would be offering. I’d like to stay with Explain Everything as I’ve been using it since the edu version days early in the pandemic for recording my lectures, and I have the recording feature down pat, but it looks like I’ll have to find a different program that I can buy once and not have to keep paying for when I only use it sporadically to update my lectures.

Rebooting constantly
This would be a fantastic app! if it didn't reboot in the middle of projects. It has reopened itself 5 times in the last 30 mins. It is very frustrating.
Great recording but lacks too many other basics
The recording and record editing tools are excellent, but for an educational whiteboard there are a lot of important features missing, including: a usable grid background the ability to stretch images in one dimension a handle to enable turning images and shapes through precise angles without resizing the ability to draw precise polygons, especially right-angled triangles.
Good but you need money to access some of the parts
I got this app to help you with a project from school and I realized that to have more than one slide in your slideshow you need the pro pass which costs money. but that’s the only bad part he hee hee.
