Love this app! So much potential!
I use this app to tutor math and it’s the best one I’ve found out there for real time collaboration via iPads. Admittedly, there are some aspects that can be smoothened out, but it gets the job done phenomenally. For the developers: please keep developing this! A cleaned up version of this app would be absolutely fantastic for online teachers all around!!
Unable to cancel
The app worked only okay. I was never able to access the recordings. However, once I no longer needed this app, I was unable to cancel my subscription. I only got error messages when I tried. I could not get ahold of anyone from this company. The phone number didn’t connect with anyone. No one responded to my emails. I have to cancel my credit card because of this company.
Nice app
I’m a kid who just needs a board online so that i can show my work in school. I think this will help me a lot. I liked his app but i really think there could be more. For example, you could add more colors and more shades. You could also add more brushes.

Billed me incorrectly and would not respond
This whiteboard app is not bad. However, it wasn’t the right fit for my needs. I attempted to cancel my trial and even removed my credit card from the system. Without any warning I was billed for an annual subscription. I sent multiple emails and chats over a 24 hour period and heard nothing back. The phone number they list to call is always busy and does not work. I eventually had to take the time to call my bank and dispute the charge. My advice is that you not give this company your credit card.
Not Bad
Not bad for a free whiteboard. Much better experience than with MS Whiteboard which is extremely buggy and freezes all the time. I use this app it extensively for my Zoom classes with iPad screen sharing. Would help if there was a laser pointer (rather than a finger pointer), a highlighter feature and if there was an ability to “extend” the page to a document (like Word) in the free app.
Hanging issues
I am using Liveboard for nearly 2 years now. initially it was smooth and fun to use but now I am facing huge lagging issues and poor response while writing. Many a times I have experienced dips and gaps while drawing a diagram. The app has even started crashing. tries uninstalling and reinstalling but the issue remains the same.
Cannot change grid type
I like this app a lot however recently I am unable to update the grid type after iOS 15 update on the latest iPad 12.9’’ model. Is there a way I can change that?
Amazing App
This app is pretty great, I use it for tutoring and I just love it.
Hacked sessions
My sessions keep getting hacked. Tried with 3 different sessions, but each time the content in my board keeps getting erased. Finally someone wrote “I won’t let you study”
Erasing and downloading
When on this app if I write math homework down and my students are incorrect or they write a number wrong, they quickly erase and erase my work as the teacher/tutor Please find a way to prevent erasing a live moth workshop from the students end (my invites) from erasing my work. As well, because of this I have to format math questions on LiveBoard then take a snap of it, then reload it to LiveBoard for the student to answer. As uploading math is not erasable it helps to keep things clean. As well, a PDF or Word file withe 30+ pages aren’t uploading and able to put on individual LiveBoard Pages in the one LiveBoard. I have to individually put each page on the LiveBoard pages. I need to look for this in an app to fulfill the above needs, for now, I’m certainly enjoying it and the interaction with each student with LiveBoard ... RCR

Crashes, lags, and is unresponsive all the time. I have better time with Zoom whiteboard.
Great app but can’t mute my students

Doesn’t work well on my iPad
I love the concept of this app. I use it for virtual tutoring. I’m having trouble recording sessions. The record feature worked the first two times but hasn’t worked since. After my last two tutoring sessions, I tried to export the whiteboard as a PDF and the app kept crashing every time I tried. There is an “email support” option but it’s not clickable. Twice I have uploaded worksheets into the whiteboard and they became unclickable once the tutoring session was live (In had to waste time re-uploading everything in the middle of the session). $15/month is very expensive for an app that only sort of works sometimes. I will be cancelling my subscription once I find a similar app that works better.
Crashes
When trying to access the LiveBoard folder from Files App or through settings, the Files app becomes unresponsive for a long time and crashes. Even the recently deleted folder of Files app is not working and not showing the deleted files after installing this app Please fix this issue
Effective Learning Tool
LiveBoard is a great tool for distant learning. As a math tutor, I utilize it daily with my students. Functionality and user interface are the two things I like about the app. Highly recommended.
New update has too many glitches
After importing an image, I am no longer able to move the image around the board after the initial placement. I can zoom in and out, but only on the center of the board, not on a desired location. Also every once in a while portions of the board will become blank, the only way to restore the image is to undo or use the erase function to “erase” the blanks to reveal the image underneath. This was a great app before the update, but if these issues are not addressed, I’ll have to find a different app
Very good app, but needs improvements
I like the app, but it needs to be improved for newer devices. UI should be improved for XS, XR and other new devices. Should be useful to have touch and/or face id recognize functionality.

Ink not registering
Having just installed the app, I tried editing the example board (Pythagoras). Each time I changed the pen (from the sidebar) I could write, but the first pen strokes would be lost. It appeared to work ok once the pen sidebar had retracted. I then created a new page. No pen strokes registered. There may be a work-around, but it was frustrating. Also, the canvas didn't appear to be infinite, which would have been helpful.
Amazing App!
Simple and intuitive. With so many options for creating and sharing, it' s amazing that the app is free. Even for screen recording you don't have to take premium plan.
Not recognizing my Premium membership
I paid for a month of premium membership and it worked okay for about a week. But then LiveBoard rolled out these other paid options and it is not recognizing my paid membership. When I went to share a board with my classes today, it would not allow me to do so. It kept giving me the option to buy a different membership. I’ve reached out to them and heard nothing back and I was completely out of luck for my classes today.
Awesome app, but....
I’m a math tutor and love this app, but suddenly one of my students is running into issues. She is working on Apple computers/laptops, and when she clicks on the link to launch our Board, it doesn’t load. She tries it from several diff computers... it will not work. Is there a preferred browser? I use the app on my iPad Pro (new). Her laptop is a new apple laptop. There isn’t a help desk or any trouble shooting info anywhere
Inconsistent
Freezes a lot, collaborative drawing / erasing is buggy. Join / leave / rejoining is also not great often hanging on a loading message.
Not sure yet
If you are not technology savvy you may have problems. Says you can chat under the free program both users had their microphone on and nothing when you go to live chat says you have to upgrade, so unless someone can educate me on how to make it work on the free app I feel this is false advertising. Will try it out with my grandsons and see how it goes and reevaluate after a couple of weeks. Again anyone that can help explain to me how to get the chat to work on the free app I would appreciate it!

I am being forced to use this app for a project in a class. Unfortunately, it crashes every time I open, or shortly after, causing me to lose whatever work I have just done. The big new update that was supposed to address the crashing issue has done nothing to fix it, as far as I can tell. I am really jealous of the other class participants who were given other whiteboard apps. Not only do theirs work, but they will get a passing grade on the assignment. I can’t do my work and will fail the assignment. Thanks for nothing. Update: over a month since I left the review and contacted support via email. I never heard anything via support and the response to the review, dated 2 days after the initial review, did nothing to help me. Do yourselves a favor and do not use this whiteboard app. Got get Microsoft’s whiteboard and use it.
This app has great potential
They really have the right idea with this app. It would be 5 stars if all the bugs were fixed. It crashes sometimes but I gave 4 stars for the effort. Pleaseeee fix the bugs, this could be such a good app :)
Stoped working
The app is good but actually stopped working.It opens up and when you open up it gets stuck .
Update took a great app and ruined it
I am a professional tutor who has a lot of online clients, and I have been using LiveBoard for the last two years to work with my students. This is extremely important to me, because I teach math and science, and without the ability to collaborate on problems and use visuals, that teaching falls flat over the Internet. When I started using LiveBoard, it was the best digital whiteboard that I could find. However, the recent update at the beginning of the summer has left the app with an extremely annoying glitch... The whiteboard will detect my finger while I’m drawing, and immediately erase whatever I have been drawing as soon as I lift my finger from the tablet. This is most noticeable when I’m trying to draw small things, like hashmarks on the axis of a coordinate plane, or decimals in a number. This leaves me awkwardly trying to write or draw something multiple times over and over again in the middle of tutoring sessions. I’m not sure what to do, because I loved the previous version of LiveBoard, and comparable online whiteboards had their own issues that I didn’t like... LiveBoard used to work perfectly for me, and this would be a five star review if it were not for the recent update.

Great app but needs a little work
Great app. Just some technical issues. Occasional crash and cancelling the adding of text sometimes leaves the text box on the screen but unable to delete. Though it usually isn't there if you need to export it, etc. Great app overall.
Glitchy and no support
Signed up for Pro subscription. Could not upload profile photo. Tried out app with a student. Audio/video conferencing didn’t work for either of us. Student could not see grid layout (graph paper) on her side and could not change this on her side. Slow to upload images, and there is quite a bit of lag time for the other person (who didn’t upload photo) before they can see images uploaded by another. I use an iPad pro and iPencil, which was fine but student had trouble getting drawings/writing to show up with regular iPad and a stylus. Not having a support portal or link is not cool especially when you are paying monthly $ for an app. Couldn’t find any documentation or support center online at all. App has potential, but needs some cleanup and more thought about flow and UX. Integrating Desmos for those who teach math would be very helpful. Expanded features are hopefully in the future...not many currently for the price.
Wonderful App, But Unstalble
I’m using LiveBoard to tutor a student who is leagally blind. It’s the only app that works on both Android and ios. However, there are still a few bugs. I’m unable to share my whiteboard and record at the same time. This results in the app crashing. The app even crashes when I try to just record the screen. The pen options are not showing properly. Lastly, the erase feature doesn’t erase completely.

Sinking Fast
This app used to be great but now its slow, it randomly deletes boards, and the eraser stopped working. Its becoming useless. Fix it!

Writings disappear
Some of the staff that I write disappear once I turn over the page (when coming back to the previous pages). Also there are some random marks on the page that can’t be erased with the eraser. These problems did not occur in the previous versions

Good idea, bad UX
We REALLY need a good iPad whiteboard app that works in real time over the network/internet. Liveboard has the right idea: keep it simple. unfortunately it's just not usable. Too many things are not possible, not supported, not intuitive or bad interaction design. Examples: - There appers to be no undo (or maybe the function is buried somewhere) - Poor support for Apple Pencil. One of many examples: if I make a circle using the pencil and want to change the size I need to set down the pen and use fingers to increase the size. - Secondary selections like colour and line size are hard to use, really brain-dead UX. Example: I select pencil. I can't tell what colour I will be drawn until I start drawing. It's black and I want red. I have to SWITCH TOOLS to Palette to change the colour. But that doesn't change the colour of what I just drew. So I have to go to Erase to rub out the black. Come on guys: palette should be a SECONDARY selection that is always available for each drawing tool. That offers an indication to the user of what colour is active for the tool, and it allow you to change colours without changing tools. There are hundreds of examples of drawing tools from other developers including established vendors like Adobe. Did you look at what others before have done before you started coding???? You should. And before you release something like this try handing the device running your app to half a dozen users (not employees or developers, just typical users) and simply WATCH them try to use it. If you'd done that you would have seen them struggle with it. If the "first run" UX is bad you will lose half your users in the first 3-5 minutes. If the frustrations continue to the second or third attempt or for more than 5 minutes you will lose 98% of the users who download the app... and get bad reviews. I didn't even get to try the network / remote feature. I didn't want to spread my pain around. You could make this a good app. I encourage you to try. I believe there are thousands of people who would use this if the UX was improved.
Great app!
This is a really nice app. However, it would be nice to implement it onto multiple platforms and devices like a Mac. I am using this for tutoring but since Mac users can't download it, they have to use their phones, which is a bit less than ideal.

After i write in arabic and close board. If return to edit an erreo in language appears understanding.
