I paid for a year’s subscription, I should be able to keep the issues I paid for. It wasn’t cheap and I was counting on being able to keep what I paid for.
Love Mojo, frustrated by app
Simply, it’s a drag that most of the time, the app requires that I start from scratch every time I open it. Meaning, I’m reading a particular issue and leave off at a particular page, as we do, the next time I open the app, I’m on the app’s landing spot. Requiring 1. Re-select digital (as opposed to magazine) view 2. Re-enter the archive 3. Scroll down to whatever issue 4. Find my bookmark again FWP, for sure. But a constant annoyance that discourages interaction with one of my favorite music mags

No help logging in….
The app was updated at some point and I’ve been unable to log in.
Some online problems but great content
The articles are fabulous, but the magazine often needs to be reloaded to continue reading and doesn’t hold my place in it well.
"Unfortunately something's gone wrong" ...
Checked user name and password. Little helpful error message and lousy ui in the iphone. Hopefully it works better on an iPad. I’ll find something else to read.
Lack of adequate tech support frustrating
Currently, the app makes it hard to access archived issues, and when I can open an issue, tapping on an article yields an error message. There is pretty much zero tech support, so I can only hope they fix it. If not, might have to cancel.

Signed up for 99p. Unable to log into app, within 2 days they took £5:50!? And still unable to log in. Requested refund as within my rights, now apparently I’ve signed up for 12 months contract!? Horrendous customer care, terrible app. Money grabbing scheme! Avoid at all cost!!!! No stars if possible 😡
Where’s my subscriber copy?
Mojo is great, period. But blaming covid for failing to deliver paper copies is lame, and simply offering digital access to what has already been paid for isn’t good enough. Maybe access to a special edition or two would be nice. On an iPhone SE it’s too small to read.
Great magazine, deserves a better app.
I subscribe to and read more than a dozen magazines on my iPad, and this is the weakest ‘app’ for reading. It’s next to impossible to navigate around, other than starting at the top of the issue each time. There are no hyperlinks in the table of contents for each issue, and even the page turns are clunky as could be. Prepare to be disappointed.

I subscribe to both physical and digital Mojo issues. Enjoy both reading experience but digital is great for viewing a huge vault of early issues…. Highly recommended !!!
Search facility useless!
Ok, so I accept that some of the artists I’m searching for might be a bit left field or obscure; but a search for Nurse With Wound resulted in several articles which included the word “with”, but nothing for the three words together. The same situation exists with more familiar bands. A search for “Rolling Stones” for example, will throw up any use of either word in any article, as well as for the band itself. Goodness knows how many results there are if I include the word “the” at the beginning.
Essential reading
I’ve been reading MOJO for a number of years and recently took out a subscription which gives me a physical copy (with cover disc) and a downloadable copy which allows that small print to be zoomed to a size I can actually read it! The writing in MOJO is consistently excellent and the emphasis on the classic sounds of the 70’s and 80’s alongside newer stuff makes for an enjoyable read. All in all an excellent read and essential for keeping up with what’s new, and what was once new.
Great content, poor app
I like the magazine apps which simply replicate the magazine (I don't want any other gimmicky features) but the Mojo app just doesn't do it very well. Slightly zooming in (and you can only slightly zoom in) reveals limitations of the resolution used. It doesn't remember my place in the magazine I was reading. The toolbar is always visible. It just feels a bit clunky. The Wire magazine has a really good replica app: subscribers can access every issue ever made, search across them all and can download the cover CDs too. Perfect. I'd love to get access to mp3s of Mojo's cover CDs but my only option is to subscribe to the print version too. I don't want the print version. It'a a great mag which I want to read digitally but the app doesn't do it justice.
I wish it had the cds online

Fantastic Value
A subscription to Mojo is worth it just for the digital access to the back issues, especially if you are a long time music fan. Loving it on my iPad Pro.

Old Mojo App worked this new App is truly dreadful. You will lose access to past issues you have paid for.

Of course it’s a great magazine but I’d rather have the physical version every time. The tablet version is just not user-friendly. What about introducing a feature which allows you to return to where you left off with having to get arthritis flicking through the whole thing again from the beginning?
Very good magazine, disappointing digital offering
If you've read Mojo in print form, you'll already know that it's one of the better UK music magazines - the reviews always dependable and insightful, the articles usually interesting and well written. Sadly this app falls into the same trap as many other offerings from print magazines, providing nothing more than a straight transfer of the printed page to screen. It would be so easy these days to liven it up with audio and video (how about embedded relevant content from YouTube, Apple Music or Spotify to accompany articles and reviews?), never mind truly interactive stuff. Worse still even the straight transfer has problems - including a typeface that's all over the place, ugly headers and footers that won't go away, and limited zoom - which only leave you wanting to reach for your old paper copy.
Decent but flawed
Ok app. Annoyingly closes completely on iPhone when you move to another app. Does not reopen to last viewed issue so you have to reopen the issue and navigate to where you last were.

Love, love, LOVE this magazine. Way better than anything produced in the US. It should get Five stars based on the content, however I am taking off a star because the app won’t allow me to return to the place that I last stopped like all the other reading apps that I have. I have to attempt to remember where I left off and then return to that page. If only…

Prefer to download but miss the cd
Been reading mojo for years great magazine only gave it two star review because when you buy online and download it you don’t get access to the free CD which I consider at least half the reason to buy the magazine

iPad login issues
iPad is obv best method of reading the digital mag but when I try to go through the log on process it constantly freezes at the members.mojo4music page. Please fix this! Btw - didn’t have this issue with the iPhone log on🙄
Not a happy chappie
I subscribed to mojo about a month ago and found it very good. However in the last few days I am unable to get onto the magazine due to some error it is unavailable. I'm not a happy bunny, also I bought the pink floyd edition and it has since disappeared into the ether.
Great magazine, not such a great app
Although it's good to be able to by some recent back issues for 99p, the content is basically scanned pages of the printed magazine. Two big flaws I've found so far though - it doesn't remember where you've got up to, so you have to scroll through the magazine each time you go back to it, also when starting the app it continually 'searches for the kiosk' so if you aren't connected to wifi you can't read a previously downloaded issue. Could be a lot better.
Has to be deleted and reinstalled before it'll show latest edition!
Just that basically. Ok in all other respects but unless there's something I'm not understanding this is the only way to get the new edition to show up.
Won’t Miss An Issue
I love Mojo, everything inside is to my liking (most months!) especially all the reviews. Living out in Spain now means I don’t get to have the feel of the ‘hard copy’ but I have it on subscription so the iPad comes in useful! Always some great contributions and articles....
Mojo app - don't bother
I have just spent an inordinate amount of time trying to get this app to work. It opens, I start reading, touch the screen to turn the page and the program closes. Every time. Here are moments of my life I will never get back. Spend your time doing something more worthwhile and avoiding this like the plague. Trevor Davies
The best music magazine
In my opinion, Mojo is the best music magazine out there. This app simply replicates the print version onto the iPad. Nothing gimmicky but allows me to read my favourite magazine wherever I am. Plus, I have instant access to all the back issues too!
Low quality digital content
Basically, the digital version of the magazine is a low resolution version of the paper version. Some pages look really fuzzy on the iPad screen, certainly not enjoyable to read like this. For a proper iPad version, I’d expect the text (at least) to be crystal clear (vector graphics). The photos, well OK, we can live with a scan, as there is not much you can do. Or at least, scan the pages in a resolution that is high enough for a crisp, quality read on the iPad. If they are scanned at a resolution good enough for the iPhone, then they will NOT work well on the iPad, for sure! Subscription will be cancelled immediately, as a result of the above.
Great magazine
If you love you're music, Mojo is the bible, dudes! Great stories, great journalism, wonderful pics that take you back to bygone eras when music really was music. The app seems reliable but lacking in any frills. But then, do you need the frills to experience the thrills that Mojo has to offer?
Very poor
This app and the whole process of getting the registration to work is flawed.the problem seems to lie with the 2 different paths of registration and despite repeated contact with the magazine support team I just keep getting a blanket email. Don't bother. Great magazine shame about the app.
