Eine sehr gute und intuitive App
Gut wäre es noch, wenn man Leistungskennziffern wie zB Gasverbrauch downloaden könnte. Zudem wäre es sinnvoll, weitere Kennzahlen downloaden zu können. Aber insgesamt ist die APP genauso qualitativ hochwertig, wie alle Viessmann Produkte!
Authorisation error
Suddenly getting ‘You are not authorised to use this application’ error message so no longer able to see boiler status data or to make any changes to time schedules or temperature. Something has changed in authorisation system.
App lädt nicht mehr
Seit gestern lädt die App nicht mehr , läuft endlos mit Startbildschirm Nachtrag 25.7.26 : Problem ist behoben, App lädt wieder wie gewohnt
Anlage ist nicht mit dem Internet verbunden
Nun kann auch ich mich einreihen, in die wachsende Liste der enttäuschten Anwender. Die App meldet einen fehlende Verbindung der Anlage mit dem Internet, obwohl auf der Anlage direkt die Verbindung angezeigt wird. Es funktioniert seit 2 Tagen nicht mehr. Ich hoffe, die Entwickler finden nun eine Lösung.
Urlaubsobtion
In der App finde ich nicht mehr den Urlaubsmodus. Habe eine zwei Leitungen Heizung
Noch nie war die Steuerung so einfach
Immer wieder gerne. Durch die individuelle Steuerung ist ökonomisches Heizen überhaupt erst möglich!
Was amazing, now unusable
Been using ViCare for many years and it got better and better with each update but the last couple of updates have rendered the app completely unusable. All you get met with is a spinning circle and a dashboard that doesn’t load correctly. My Boiler requires the app to get the full benefit of its features. Where is Viessmans QC on this as a lot of people require the app to control their installation.

PDF-Berichte
Leider funktioniert das erstellen der PDF-Berichte (für meine Vitocal 262-a) nicht. Es erscheint immer die gleiche Fehlermeldung. Über den Viessmann Support wird mal ohne Hilfe an die Community verwiesen… Eine Lösung ist hier nicht zu finden und auf meine Anfrage wird dort nicht reagiert. Es wäre schön wenn man eine Lösung für dieses Problem findet schließlich handelt es sich um eine „Premium“ Funktion die nur mit Abo möglich ist. Ansonsten funktioniert die App wie sie soll. Wenn auch zeitweise etwas langsam.
Nicht stabil
Die Lüftungsanlage selbst läuft wie programmiert. Allerdings trennt sich die Steuerung regelmässig vom WLAN. Somit ist keine Anpassung mehr möglich. Reset nur durch Trennung von der Stromversorgung möglich.

Améliorable
Je ne met pas 5 étoiles pour 2 raisons : - l’application n’affiche pas la température mesurée par la sonde extérieure, - il n’y a pas de possibilité de connexion ethernet directement sur la chaudière, ce qui est problématique quand la chaudière est installée à la cave et et que la connexion wifi est instable malgré l’utilisation d’un répéteur.
Rubbish UI/UX
On iPhone 14 Pro the app can’t scan the QR code as it opens the main camera which can’t focus on the QR code. Never mind, let’s try entering the ID manually. Well, the ID is in hexadecimal format but you can’t type letters as the app brings up the numeric keypad.
Anlage findet keine Verbindung zum Internen
Seit ein paar Tagen meldet die App „Die Anlage findet keine Verbindung zum Internet“, obwohl das WLAN im gesamten Haus stabil funktioniert. Ist da schon wieder eine Server-Wartung schuld?
Zu viele Updates!
Die App funktioniert gut und macht was sie soll. Diese häufigen Zwangsupdates nerven aber wenn man nicht regelmäßig die App benutzt und vor der Benutzung immer erst alles aktualisiert muss ohne einen zusätzlichen Nutzen
Pointless
This app is completely useless. Scan to connect wifi, despite being a new boiler if fails as it wont recognise the qr code. Want to reset your boiler because it has a fault, you need to find the website and download a pdf manual then do it manually - what is the point in having a wifi connected boiler if the connection does nothing? What to know about the current error code? Well the app gives next to no information, doesn't tell you the date or time the error occurred and won't let you clear the error from the app. Want to book a service for your boiler? Well the app doesn’t do that either. It has very basic info on current temperature, no real information on performamce over time. In fact I have no idea why there is even an app as it serves no actual benefit to the customer.
App lädt nicht mehr
Nach Update auf 3.40.1 funktioniert die App wieder (und HA weiterhin auch). Warum dafür 667MB Speicherplatz nötig sind, verstehe ich allerdings nicht…

Connexion à l’application
Bonjour, L’application est plutôt pas mal, mais malheureusement Je suis régulièrement obligé (presque tout les jour / chronophage) de refaire le code de mon internet sur mon interface de la PAC Viessmann pour que l’application re-fonctionne 🤷♂️😢😤😩… Je l’ai déjà signalé et sollicité oralement et par écrit à plusieurs reprises à mon installateur DOMOSOLARIS (champ-Bonnot 38), qui devait revenir vers moi à ce sujet et toujours sans réponse à ce jour… Cordialement Guillaume TOLLET
ViCare Hygieneschutz
Hallo Entwickler, ich kann nur sagen, ihr habt eine Mega App entwickelt. Sie ist perfekt. Eine Idee hätte ich doch noch. Könnt ihr nicht eine Funktion beim Hygieneschutz einführen, dass man die Möglichkeit hat, das Heizen manuell direkt zu starten. Z. B. Bei PV Überschuss. Bin gespannt auf Euer Feedback.
Complicated
Sometimes I will press the “ok” button on the boiler by mistake, putting it into “AP” mode. I then spend the next hour trying to repair the boiler to the internet. You have to love Viessmann for simplicity
App lädt nicht mehr, Update App läuft wieder
Seit einigen Tagen lädt die App nicht mehr. Update: nach einer Neuinstallation der App funktioniert wieder alles.
Poor design which has cost me money
Tried using holiday mode several times only to discover it changed the temperature settings to increase the coolest temp to 22 degrees. It was supposed to turn off and save me money. Regretting replacing my Google Neat now which was very easy to use and program.
Wer macht QA bei euch?
Update: läuft wieder und tut was sie soll. Bisher hat die App gemacht was sie soll, aber ein Update auszurollen dass die gesamte Funktion lahm legt, dass ich gar nix mehr einsehen kann und nur die liebliche Loadingsnimation betrachten kann, ist schlichtweg peinlich.
Thank you for the latest update
Fantastic app and works as it should now. The issue of the Climate Sensor reported as not working has been resolved now after the April 2026 update. All in all, as a user, the app does what it’s supposed to do, mainly allowing full control over the heating system and showing the system status at the touch of a button. Love the idea or features of the holiday mode and comfy or cozy day at home settings.
Not working
The promotional screen that appears when the app is opened cannot be dismissed. The 2 buttons, ‘skip’ and ´finish’ are unresponsive making the app useless.
Basisfunktionen sind ok
die App macht was sie soll. In meinem Fall wird die Vitodens darüber im Winter eingeschaltet und per Zeitplan gesteuert. Der Rest der App bezieht sich fast nur auf kostenpflichtige Inhalte und wird nicht benötigt. Was die Probleme und Fehler mancher Nutzer nach dem App Update angeht, so habe ich bei mir festgestellt das die noch bestehende Anmeldung die Ursache ist. Mit etwas Geduld kann man dann auf die Einstellungen kommen und sich abmelden. Nach erneuter Anmeldung funktioniert die App wie gewohnt. Hier könnten die Entwickler eventuell mit einer Zwangsabmeldung das Problem umgehen wenn an der Authentifizierung was geändert wird.
Over complicated
Changed our internet provider took two weeks and a new mesh extender to get it to work. Is the app too complicated for its own good?
Bug ouverture
L’appli ne s’ouvre plus depuis dernière mise à jour… Toujours pas de connexion une semaine plus tard… et aucune réponse de l’informaticien. Mais en supprimant l’appli tout fonctionne de nouveau !
Good but reinstate feature
Don’t get me wrong it’s a great app and the boiler responds immediately, however app previously allowed you to change the temperature of the current mode from the Home Screen using one tap. Now with latest updates, you have to tap a total of 3 times to change the temperature. Please allow temp to be changed again from the first screen.
Silly design flaws
There are some silly design flaws in this app. Most ridiculous is that the fuel consumption charts are restricted to a 12 month period. So one can never compare one year’s January (say) with that of the January the year before. Nor one winter with another. Simply adding another three months would be good. I can only imagine it was restricted to keep the interface prettier.
Very useful for managing and monitoring boiler
I have a boiler that uses this app and it is very handy for controlling things like the flow temperature of the heating and switching the Eco/Comfort settings for the hot water. It would be even better if you could schedule some of these adjustments.
Redtilded
This app is so frustrating. It either doesn’t work at all or it is unavailable for maintenance or, most often, it only makes half the information available. It is so unstable I have to delete and reinstall the app nearly every time I use it.

Good App - Room for Improvement
Application is intuitive but would like to see local control and official support for Home Assistant just as Reolink have done. I don’t want to keep going through AWS to control my boiler when I’m sat at home, open up a local API and reduce your AWS usage costs! Weather Temp sensor data seems delayed, initial install of my Vitodens 200 took around 24 hours for the sensor data to show in the app, again could be resolved by local API access. More education on the weather curve and level, perhaps with some training videos for different house types would be useful. iOS widget is nice, keep it up. Please don’t lock features behind a paywall especially for a premium brand trying to establish itself in the UK market. UPDATE : Recent App update, now when marking ‘Holiday at home’ DHW does not activate only the radiator supply!
Not working properly
Since IOS 26 the app hasn’t worked properly. The tile for the radiators doesn’t always appear. Also you have to restart the app every time you try to open it. After opening it once you just get the red Viessmann screen and a swirling thing as it waits to start. If you stop the app and restart it again it works once.

Best boiler app
One app for boiler and heating scheduling and controls. Would recommend
Overly complicated
No simple turn on heating, turn off heating button. Requires programme which then needs removing if you don’t want it repeated. Even gas engineer couldn’t believe how complicated app is.
Electricity Consumption readings seem inaccurate.
When I click on the Electricity consumption tile, then Yearly, the App is telling me that my Gas Boiler has used 150 kWh of electricity for the current year and nothing for the previous year. Really! Seems a bit excessive considering the boiler only needs electricity to fire an igniter and run a fan and pump. For the 14 days of July that have elapsed so far, it reckons I’ve used 1.5kWh for direct heating (I haven’t got the heating on, not unusual for July) and 0.2kWh for direct heating.
Core functions missing
I can’t see the Alexa skill or the Savings assistant. Without these functions, the app and system is not very smart. Please can you sort?
App not working
Most time, this app does not work properly. Unable to use it, If you only have app to control temperature which can be annoying, especially in winter time. Like today your app is not working . Kindly do review and maintenance of this app frequently to avoid inconvenience for customers

When trying to open the app, it appears to be taking longer and longer and now I’ve been trying for ages and the app is just wurring away and not opening at all. After about half hour, the app started to function correctly

Most annoying thing in this app is you can’t just turn up the room temperature and it Reset at next cycle. If it was not for this this would be a great app.
