Popsa Is Very Good

Under-developed app
App is missing account settings such as a login or out option. It also doesn’t allow shared photobooks to be viewed. Submit a ticket was chat only, which is not practical for any of us who work and need to just send a request and move on, or when trying to share app feedback without having to post it in a review.
Changes limited
After placing order it would not allowed changes to the frame type I had to cancel the order
Not as good as Mimeo.
Whilst easier to use on an iPad the quality of the book once it arrived was not as good as I usually get having always used Mimeo. It looks cheap sitting next to the other books - I think the photo slip cover with Mimeo really elevates the look. Am wishing I had just gone the more complicated and time consuming route with Mimeo tbh.
Meh! Can get the same for less elsewhere
If you order, protect your investment and get hardcover. They sent softcover in flimsy envelope and mine came bent with corners wrecked.

Promo codes does not work
Trying Popsa for the first time after seeing their 50% promo for Fathers Day. Spent a while doing the photobook only to realise at checkout the 50% off is not correct (math does not work out). Also tried to apply the other promos during checkout such as free upgrade and shipping but it only lets you apply one. Why are they even there if it doesn’t work..

several photos in my book had heads cut off. This little book was not worth $50!
App is Difficult to Navigate
Not the most user friendly on the app. Automatically creating borders on prints, doing different orders for different sizes of prints, etc. Quality is good.

First use of the app to build our vacation book. Will get more review details in our next book and when we receive this one.

Great app that can take time
This is a great app to put all memories together. Doesn’t take long to upload photos at all. We also really liked the 3D preview option, added additional confidence in how the book is set up and allows for someone to catch any additional changes they want to make. What takes time is going through and editing your pages (if needed). To make sure the layout works for what you are working on, it can be challenging to toggle between the individual page and the pages as a spread. Three things that would make this five star: One, allow the moving of ind. pics and moving of pages all on the pages option, and two, allow for a copy paste feature. Third, allow for captions under each picture vs per page. We would still recommend this app to friends.
Better options available
I had some good experiences with Popsa but then I had a book that was terrible. Popsa were completely unhelpful. The issues were never sorted. I will not use them again.
Make it easier
I'm a senior and it's not easy to replace and add. Hopefully it'll be easier. And the add-on charges easily add up which is frustrating esp if purchasing on a budget. I almost cancelled but I've spent too Much time.
Great Quality
I have used Shutterfly exclusively and although my orders were fine i would say Popsa pages and prints were of higher quality. I will be using Popsa going forward. The order came quickly as well.
Portraits Book
My landscaping book was fine but my other book that was all portraits of my daughter had.numerous photos poorly cropped.
Good support service
I had issues with my photo upload and after reaching out to the support team I had it fixed in two days. The only thing I didn’t like is that my order was placed first and after I got a warning about many photos not been visible on the design, moreover giving me just one hour to fix the issue. I would not be able to resolve this in an hour and I wonder if the order would get printed anyway? I cancelled that first order but all solved and now I’m happy with my design and have placed a second order. I can’t wait to have it home and give my husband a nice anniversary gift!
System error
I ordered my first book and was supposed to receive 20% off for first orders. The system failed every time I tried to pay and then when I closed the app and reopened it my 20% off code was gone.

This is the first time I have used Popsa, so we will see if it compares to the other photo books that I’ve used in the past. This site was actually pretty easy to use, but the price was more expensive than the ones I’ve used before. Shipping should be free on these books.
Expensive
It seems very expensive to me, considering the few photos and the quality.
Beautiful but expensive
The app was easy to use (a couple of minor blips like trying to reorganize pages, but that was because of it being the first time I used the app, not due to Popsa and as well when trying to check out- that took longer than creating the entire book, it wouldn’t tell me what I was missing and I ended up having to Google it b/c there was no way to access support and nothing on the page told me what I was missing or why it wouldn’t allow me to pay). The only real reason I give it 3 out of 5 stars and not 5 out of 5 is because costs started adding up. I ended up paying over double the price quoted on the first page of the listed cost of the book. But as I had already put in all the work to create the book and as it is a gift for my mother from her 90th birthday, I bought it anyway. If it hadn’t been for the 50% off summer sale, I content have afforded it with all the extra costs. If the book that gets delivered to my mom looks as nice as in the app, it will be beautiful

Problem
Unfortunately, on my iPad, the photos looked perfect. However, when they were printed maybe 20% of them had their heads cut off. So, the books are a little disappointing and I would think twice about using this app again.
Discount code
I live Popsa but was disappointed with my last order , couldn’t add the discount code anywhere as it had already given me 20% standard . Even tried to email but it bounced back .
Not what I had hoped for
After spending $$$ for a 8x11 with 24 pages: 1. Hard cover was all that I could have have hoped, excellent. 2. While the photos were printed on gloss paper. several of my pictures taken on an iphone 17 Pro Max were poorly duplicated and colors were noticeably washed out, 3 Most annoying, though I carefully reviewed my draft book and pictures before finalizing my order, five of my photos were (re)(extra) cropped with little to no concern for the result - body parts missing, legs vs faces, etc. Very annoying. I expected humans to review the work before mailing - my mistake.
Good product however discounts arrangement could be improved.
Repeat customer, I love the quality of the hardback books. The soft covers aren’t as sturdy though. Often order many additional pages and with no discount on them it is an expensive exercise.

I purchased a book with a giftbox thinking it would be package in the box and sent out. NOPE! I was supposed to package it myself but the website did not specify!!! Wasted $17 on a box that the birthday boy is going to receive and wonder what it’s for….

Large photo book
Every year I wait to make the most of the 50% off offer and yet the price has doubled since I started making these books 4 years. The photo quality has declined. This might be my last year
Like it but…
The quality is very nice and fairly affordable. I just wish it were more customizable. Some pictures are cropped too much. You could spend all day rearranging photos.

DO NOT BUY!
I spent a while choosing an app to make photo books with, and settled on Popsa because it seemed affordable and looked to be decent quality. I ordered a soft cover book. It had 20 pages or so. Literally the first time I sat down to look through it with my kids, it fell apart in my hands. The binding that held the pages together cracked as we turned them, and pages came loose and fell out. $40 down the drain. Choose another photo book app, because this isn’t the one you’re looking for.

Found it very hard to upload photos from the computer. Kept not uploading or being able to use photos if it did upload. Very frustrating

Delivery promise not kept
I ordered this on 14 December 2025 with the website guarantee that if ordered before 15 December it would arrive for Christmas. It’s now 5Jan and hasn’t yet arrived. I wouldn’t have purchased if the website didn’t guarantee.

It took me a while to get the best way to select & position my photos. When I did get the flow it was easy. The hard part was what photos to select.
Don’t upload from phone
Really hard to check the layout of each photo on phone. Cost me over $200 and a significant number of photos are stretched, faces cut off, people cut out. Check the layout carefully and I’d strongly recommend using a large screen to check details of the layout before ordering.
Mise en page limitée
