Can’t start
I had high expectations from the description. After downloading from the App Store it would open, so I went to the app and started it. After putting in my information it locked up. I had to close and restart it again. All the photos are in a single album. This app said there were 0 photos in the album. Too many headaches so I just deleted it.
Not the price quoted
The book looks good on my phone, still want to see in person. It stated 19.99 but turn out to be 34. I do love the added touches of maps and dates.
Frustrated with fonts
There was no flexibility in size of fonts and little flexibility with size and placement of text boxes on the page. I as too far into creating the book to start over on another app. I am not likely to use Journi Print again.
First time User
I gave Journi 3 stars because it lacks some basic features I expected, such as the ability to adjust font sizes. Changing page layouts and moving or rearranging photos is also more difficult than it should be. The app has good potential, but more flexible editing tools and easier navigation would greatly improve the experience.
High Quality and Value
I have devised and ordered three Journi Print Photobooks for two trips to Japan and a marriage celebration. Each photo book looks great, and each recipient has loved their copy. Highly recommend to share those special memories with those you care for the most.
Horrible customer service
The book was printed with pictures I did not submit. I was able to show them this by screen shots of the draft. They refused to offer a new book . Told me I would have to pay. I will never use them again. Lousy customer service service
First purchase
Wish the assist with a final review. Did not notice the spacing in some of my paragraphs
Very Frustrating App
Not easy to use in any sense of the word. It claims to take 5 minutes. It took me over 2 hours due to the very clumsy application. Will try something else next time for the large investment in time and money. I sure hope for the money the end product is at least decent.
Good but Bad
Greet app! Shipping is ridiculously expensive
Easy
I’m in my 70s and I could actually do this on my laptop. I’m never done one before, but it won’t be my last. Very user-friendly. Thank you.
Confused!!!!
Selected my book, pictures, etc. Picked a simple 8x8 book, approximately 50 pictures.. the book I selected was 19.99 but when I got to checkout it was 118.00…. WHY??????? Went back and there is no explanation of the charges. It simply shows the hook I selected for 19.99. Seems like a rip off!
Great app
Super easy to use, but it would’ve been very helpful if I could have enlarged the edit view and been able to simply enter a date to edit and click to that page.
Vacation Books
Journi Print is so easy to work with. I have made 2 very large books to document my last two vacation travels. It was so easy to add photos, edit pages, add titles, dates, maps, quotes, etc. The quality of the book is excellent. I will definitely use Journi Print many times in the future because I have so many new ideas!
You never get the print order
Even you pay high shipping charges, you never get the your order. Didn’t received it even after 15 days.
First Book!
Just ordered my first book and I’m excited to see the finished product. The process was easy and having the app organize everything chronologically made a great start to my travel book. I love the added features of country stamps and maps. I found it not as flexible as other programs for adding captions, so I think I’ll have to hand write some after it comes, which isn’t ideal. Captions, not necessarily paragraphs, are important to me to help preserve the memories. There also are limited embellishments, which probably just made the whole process quicker since I wasn’t laboring over how to decorate the pages and made me focus on the important part of getting the photos in. Overall, Journi Print was a great way to get our photos into a book that we can share and they’re not just stuck on my phone!
My JOURNEY Book
After returning from a once in a lifetime 12 day trip to Ireland, I decided the best way to enjoy the photos I took was to put them in a book. I tried 3 different apps before finding Journi! WOW, your app blew me away! I am not that tech savvy, but your program was amazingly easy to use! There were so many options that were easily applied! I enjoyed the process. I will admit it took me three days to complete my project due to the number of pictures (just over 900!!) I had to choose and edit for the book. I will definitely visit your site for future projects for family members. Also, I REALLY appreciate the “sharing” feature that allows me to share my completed project with my children and grandchildren! They are scattered all over the country and I will not have a chance until maybe the holidays to share the actual book with them. Thank you SO MUCH for making this all possible! I’m a forever customer! Diane
Still waiting
I placed the order for this book while I was still on my trip, I pay for premium shipping and total everything came to over $60 for 31 photos. There is no updated shipping information on where my item is and there’s no way to contact them with the exception of sending an email. I was strongly suggest finding another company to order this type of item from since this company, clearly lacks organizational skills. Do not purchase you’ve been warned.
Fabulous
Fabulous, but expensive!
Easiest photo app yet!
I’ve used pretty much all the photo apps at this point and Journi is definitely the easiest to use. As I have not received the product yet, I am not able to determine the quality of the photo book, however, the ease of the app … I can vouch for!
The worst customer service ever!!
What happened to Journi?!?! I have used you numerous times in the last 3 years. Now my order is missing and all I get is bots and automated email replies and NO Service!!! Time to use Mixtiles and I will let all my friends know not to use you! So sad because I really liked your photo books and had told many to try your company.
Love my books !!
My family and I took a vacation of a lifetime- 12 days in Portugal. My books came out so good.. !!!!! As I’m reviewing them, I felt as if we were still there. !! They came out perfect!!
Difficult
I didn’t enjoy app, too many pop ups to make changes
Easy Pezy
I really like the way it puts your pictures in chronological order and easy to understand
Love my book. What a great keepsake and awesome gift
So many creative options to capture your memories and tell a story with them. Much better than having them sit on your phone
Love all of my books
I have made 5 books in the last year. Every book amazes me how vibrant the final product is. I get better at creating the books with each trial. You must click on the pictures in the order you want them displayed to avoid extra editing which has come with it practice. I will be doing more books in the near future!
