Delivery delay
Inspite of paying extra for express delivery , it was not delivered on the day . Very disappointing as i could not take it with me , was an ianniversary gift

Colour still not accurate - second attempt!
I ordered a 90 x 60 poster and When it arrived the colour was totally different. I was offered a free reprint so I converted the image to cmyk as instructed, and received the reprint which was a better colour but so dark it is unusable! I understand that things can change when printing, and it is a very technical process but it doesn’t look as if I will get exactly what I want! The price was excellent and I think the quality would be perfect if the colour was correct!

Great when it works
This app is so helpful for making albums but it can be slow to load and glitchy. I added photos to multiple albums and then they’ve disappeared. Annoying

Decent
Mostly positive experience. Some items it would not let me load photos on my phone so I had to on my laptop. Atrocious shipping costs by the end, considering they shipped my items in two separate packages. I get that shipping is expensive though , but it was a bit of a shock. I wish the calendars had more options for layout. The one really cute design I chose , I realized I could only have the background with one photo not multiples. Overall, still better than the other couple photo sites I explored. Sorry this review is long and rambly, catching me at a tired hour.

Easy to use
Not very good at technical stuff but it was so easy to use
Good quality, bad tech and service
Out of the three things I've order two have been printed incorrectly, customer services spend ages sorting out issues and the chat constantly dropped out, issues with the tech for creating/editing items and orders being changed after confirmation. App crashed loads. Real shame as the quality of the items are really good 10/10. Just alot of hassle to get stuff right.

I just downloaded the app to get my 10% back in store credits for my orders as well as, I bought the Plus membership to get free shipping. The app is terrible, it doesn’t work properly at all, I randomly get blank screens when I’m trying to navigate the site. When I try to add drafts to my cart it shows “want to create something new?” And does not add my draft to the cart. I also notice the prices keep changing, 1 minute it will show me a specific sale price and then when I go back in an hour or later it’s a different price even though it’s still advertising the same sale, it’s like you never know what you’re going to get. Also, I don’t know how they calculate their tax but it never adds up to what it’s supposed to be, it always ends up being more.
There are some problems to fix
I like the app, but it has some problems when editing the text, the check button cannot be pressed. I have a iPhone 14 pro. I had to do it numerous times to get it to work. And I keep getting back in and have the same problem. Also, adding new photos can only be selected when you first open the app. After that, if we want to add more, the select more photos can only select the photos you have already selected when you first open the app, but not from your phone. Also, I tried to add the completed work into the cart to check out, somehow, it does not allow to select the type of paper or even go further. I’m not sure what is the problem. I went back to the online version and it works well and much better. I think the app still needed improvement.

I like the idea that you will find all ur draft and basket items from web to app seamlessly
Terrible printing quality (Photobook print)
Downloaded app to get a photobook printed as a gift. Ordered a big photobook (72 pages) and each page is printed terribly, looks like the layers of colours were not aligned properly so all the pictures look pixelated and with the whites all blowed out. I had high hope as the app is very friendly and the delivery was very quick it unfortunately very poor quality. Unfortunately I don’t have time to get another one printed but I will use a different provider next time (vistaprint for example, quality was always excellent when I used them before)
User friendly
Easy enough to use and more straightforward than other apps of these types. Only suggestion I have is when an error is flagged it would be helpful to know where the error is. I had no idea.
Used to be better
I’ve unfortunately had to only give 2 stars. I’ve used this app a couple of times in the past and had no issues, but recently I’ve tried to use this to order some thank you cards but it kept giving me error messages and blank screens. I contacted an agent on their chat feature for assistance and was told to use another browser or device. The agent was sooooo slow to even come to that conclusion as she was “assisting multiple customers” at the same time as me. In my opinion you should help one at a time until you can get them resolved and move onto the next. Deleted my account and the app. I will give my business to another company.

Useless as they use Evri parcel delivery
Sadly this app is useless as they use Evri to deliver your parcels, mine has been at the Evri depot for a week abs i placed the order 3 weeks ago! Impossible to get hold if anyone via customer service so all in all a complete waste of money
IT problems
Works well on the app, however on compute is a whole other story. Unable to login into my old account. Had to make. New one this year. Quick shipping and good quality.
Not the best
After my 1st order had the wrong writing and bad quality, customer service helped a lot and got me a re order. My 2nd order was still not the best quality so I messaged again, customer service was great again and got a 3rd order sent out. This 3rd batch has a white solid line along the bottom that shouldn’t be there..I don’t want to go through customer service again even though they are very helpful, they can be time consuming!

Won’t allow me to place an order
Spent ages creating two calendars for family Christmas presents, keep trying to order them and it just won’t work. Keeps circling / loading and never proceeds.
Easy, simple product to use
For a straight forward, simple photo book Optimalprint is a great product. I would like to see a bit more space when writing text for the photos and the ability to be able to have a leading page where text could be written. Otherwise, good economical product.
Glitch in the program on iPhone
The program is stuck with the initial welcome screen asking people to become a member. Can’t get rid of this screen. Please get it fixed.

So easy and looks great
The app was so easy to use create and pay. I was a first time user and out together a calendar in under 30mins for Xmas presents.
App user experience inconsistent
I found glitches when formatting my photo book and when it came time to submit order, it was still charging me for shipping despite me trying to pay for the 12 month subscription. I thought I had bought the subscription and then submitted a second order. Price kept changing and so did my shipping price when trying to send to another address (1km up the road). I found it extremely frustrating the whole inconsistency at check out coupled with the glitches and for this I have to rate the user experience below average as I could have easily given up and taken my business elsewhere.
Quality
Ordered a canvas for my mum, the quality that came out wasn’t great. Which is upsetting as she lost her dog, good pricing and delivery

App is unresponsive
I’ve used this app in previous years to make Christmas cards and it was fine. Now it hasn’t worked for me in weeks. Just loads, and doesn’t respond to my touch. Clicked App Support from the App Store page and that page was stuck too. Can anyone recommend a site for Christmas cards that has a functioning app?
Calendars!
Super easy to use. Was able to connect to my iCloud to make all my personalized Christmas calendars...and there was Black Friday discount options and free shipping 👌🏻
All the special events are wrong...
Ordered 2 different calendars. The process to make them was easy enough When they arrived (impressively fast!) they looked beautiful and the quality was excellent BUT all the special events I added in (birthdays, anniversaries, holidays) were COMPLETELY WRONG not even off by a day like in totally random months. When I went to review if I had made an error I definitely didn’t. Everything is as I wanted it to be in the app.... Very upsetting. Could have been so beautiful. Luckily there’s whiteout. If you go with this product don’t specialize anything too. you’ll be disappointed
Crashy app
I was depending mostly on the app to make my Optimalprint orders, as the website often randomly redirects me to “site under renovation” pages, no matter which browser I use. Well, now the app has gone rogue as well. A recent update logged me out, and I am now unable to log in. I can’t even browse the app as a guest because the product buttons aren’t all working… mugs cannot be accessed, for example. This is extremely frustrating as I purchased a pro membership to get free shipping for a year, and it’s been luck of the draw whether I can make any orders recently. I would love to give a better rating - the products and printing are good overall - but ordering through the website or the app is currently impossible. 😣 Update: well, the app and website appear to be working fine now. I can log in again. I’ve moved my one-star review up to a three-star. Fingers crossed that this doesn’t happen again.
Brilliant quality mugs
I absolutely love OptimalPrint. I have put my own designs onto 8 different mugs now. I used my iPhone, it was so easy. I'm really impressed with the quality. And it's fast delivery too, excellent service. I'm little obsessed now, lol. And they are perfect for gifts. Can't wait to buy more!
Totally unusable
The app constantly crashes and I can’t place an order.
Inexpensive and relatively easy to use
Had some difficulty figuring out how to delete photos once uploaded - but I was still logged in from my desktop so I deleted from there. Once uploaded your photos are stored for re use so it’s easy to use desktop from there. Took less than 15 minutes total to design and order Christmas cards. Least painful experience to date. Highly recommended.
A few bugs to work out
First time user. What’s with all the crashing? Has potential, needs tweaking.
Worked Awesome.. then started crashing!
I made 3 photo books and had such an awesome experience. Was so excited about an easy to use app to make a whole library of affordable matching photo books. Then when I started making book number 4 it crashed constantly while I was trying to select the photos and get started. VERY annoyed!!!
