Best thing about this streaming app is shudder tv feature for when I don’t want too look for a movie to watch there is always something good playing 24/7 👍
App is broken
App will refresh the login page while typing out my details. I tried to submit a ticket on their site but the submit button was blocked my their stupid AI chat bot

Downloaded the app on Apple TV, but whatever movie is playing on the Shudder TV section at the time, that audio can be heard everywhere throughout the app even when after exiting out of shudder TV and watching a different movie the shudder tv audio can still be heard in the background.Gives me the shudders

I like all the horror movies definitely a lot more than Netflix but the app does need to improve…
Love shudder but app is not good
The service is great, love horror movies, however when casting on app to tv somehow the sound plays out of iPad speakers as well and there’s no way to pause or stop it. Quite annoying

Authentic and strong storyline with down to business gore.
Scammers
These guys make it so hard to cancel your subscription, I’ve had to do it TWICE and they still charged me. Would avoid & never have an account with them. They hide your account button so it’s not viewable, leaving you going in circles on their “help” section to try and cancel. Easy to sign up, but they’ll charge you until you cancel more than once. Scammers

Needs a smart tv app and also be added on VodafoneTV for New Zealand users
Bit of a let down
Has almost none of the titles I’ve seen mentioned by US viewers that I was looking forward to. Hardly any classics as well. The highlights were the documentary series and not the actual movies themselves. Also logs me out frequently which gets annoying.
Nearly great
I just wish the time, date, and battery would disappear from my screen and that there were more recognisable classics available.
Loving Shudder
Have watched a number of great horror movies on Shudder since signing up. The app works great for me. My one complaint is that it loses my place in the movie quite easily, but other than that I’m so pleased to have discovered this streaming service. I’ve been watching horror movies for 40+ years, and I’m impressed.
Not working with tv
While it doesn’t have the option for airplay before starting a movie, I’m given the option by my phone when I start one, however it doesn’t work and it keeps freezing. For convenience I only want to stream from my phone or tv so for now I think I will have to pass and end with the free trial.
Selection
Would suggest that a horror movie site have a selection of classics, Halloween, Friday the 13th and Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Freezing
Hi I downloaded the app as I have seen a lot of people talk about the great horrors on there and who doesn’t love a good horror. So I started watching it and through out the movie I was watching it kept freezing so I would exit the app wait a bit then try continue to watch it but would backtrack 10 seconds then freeze again. Please fix this problem as I have subscribed and would like to put my money to use. Thanks

Seamless UI with growing content of original stuff. Not just movies, but exclusive series, documentaries and more! Loving the new stuff that I can’t get anywhere else!
Much disappoint
I wish Dragula would move to a better service. If you wanna stream anything to tv, or Apple TV, or chromecast without raging… forgetta bout it 🤌
Good
App is great I just wish there were more horror classics - I notice most of the recently added titles are either foreign or originals content (which I have to say I’m not a big fan of much) also an option to zoom to fill screen in the player would be good.

Was so excited to see Shudder finally reach NZ! I’ve watched a lot so far, it’s definitely not as big as Netflix (did you really think it would be?) but it’s an incredible app with a decent variety. I’m loving the shudder original tv series, they’re quality! And a good mix of classics and new and cult stuff to watch - more classics would be great as they don’t have a lot of the well known slashers but overall super impressed and can’t wait to see Shudder grow even more over time. Also, the app works great!
Error 2000 pops up every time I try to watch a movie

The app won’t successfully cast anything for me on my Chromecast. Tried everything, uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Nothing works.

Don’t waste your time
Was constantly unable to play anything due various errors, couldn’t access my account information and although they managed to bill me the support team just couldn’t or couldn’t be bothered finding my account despite me send copies of information including the apple invoice with all my info and there info on it , don’t waste your time

Cant cast to play on my Tv . The only thing that can play on the tv through th phone app is the Trailer, but not the movie. I honestly dont get it. Fix this please as im a huge fan of horrors.

Won’t accept payment info
I keep getting pop ups whenever I try to watch something on shudder saying that I don’t have a plan (on the app) or that my payment failed (on the website) despite using a card that has worked for everything else I’ve ever used it for, and having more than enough money in my account to cover it. Tried to pay through the app using apple’s subscription as they obviously didn’t want to take my card, but I’m still getting the same error DESPITE BEING CHARGED FOR THE SUBSCRIPTION. So now I’m out for the subscription that I can’t use for whatever reason, not impressed.
Not working
How do I even work this app ? I’ve brought the monthly plan! And it’s still not working 🙅🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ do I have to wait 🤷🏻♀️ or something 🤦🏻♀️
Terrible Customer Support
I signed up for a 7 day free trial and it’s saying i’m not subscribed although you can clearly see i am in my apple subscriptions, put a ticket notice in nearly a week ago and NO response. Terrible service, such a shame as a lot of their movies look amazing
