What people like
- Hilarious comedy and creative D&D content.
- Great value compared to other streaming services.
- No ads and no censorship on content.
What they complain about
- Timestamps often fail to save or sync.
- App interface feels clunky and needs polish.
- Missing basic features like profiles and sleep timers.
Awesome
A comedy destination that welcomes all! Worth every penny.
Content great, video player bad
Dropout content is great, however, the app has a persistent issue for years. Namely, the time stamping consistently breaks which seems to be an issue experienced by many people online. When watching a 2.5 hour dimension 20 video, I have to manually remember the timestamp, as it is frequently not saved and/or synced between devices. I am aware that the underlying provider is Vimeo, and I hope that they finally get to fix these issues in the future. It is one of the main reasons I stop my subscriptions: I am watching a video, take a break for a few days, try to continue, do not know where I was due to the timestamp, and then quit my subscription again.
i love dropout
the app functions and the shows are good. missing some core features like consistent "watch later" and user profiles, but its usable and i've never had any glitches or bugs of any kind
would not start now
after they announced taking part in copaganda i really just want a refund for the year i bought. do not subscribe to them.
Dropout is great, the app has room to improve
The app experience could be improved and many things taken for granted from other platforms are missing; viewer profiles for me and my partner, automatic light/dark mode, control playback of other devices, fast queuing. Needs some polish :)
So funny!
Dropout is perfect; it’s quality content at low prices.
Amazing
I absolutely love using the app to watch every season of Dimension20 over and over! My only issue is that I wish the TV version of the app did the “continue watching” list and auto-play of the next episode like it does on mobile. Other than that, I have no issues and use it quite literally every day. Definitely getting my money’s worth
Content is top notch - app not so much
My main issue is that you cannot resume. It does not remember what you paused. Also no quick way to go to your unfinished videos.
Worth it
I have really enjoyed all the talent and variety on this platform and I like that it’s sort of a direct to consumer channel
dropout
I love dropout content, but the app needs some work
Love the content
Wonderful app full of laughs
Sleeptimer fehlt
Best streaming service I’m subscribed to
Dropout is pound for pound the best, not even close.
Great content, ok app!
Love the content! Really worth the subscription price! Only con is that you can’t use MiniPlayer or leave the app and come back without it shutting down, which is only a little irritating but not that big of a deal.
I mean, it’s alright
I’ve known these people for a while and they never cease to make my day better, I love nostalgia and these people have aged with me and STILL they surprise me with their creativity, knowledge, and ingenuity, thank you dropout team for everything 😊 if you want another member at all, please let me know
Drop-Out
Nice streaming platform that isnt too expensive with just enough shows to have a lot of diversity but also not too much to the point where you can’t know every show
Top Tier
As a streaming service, it’s simple and easy to use. Truly no ads or censors, and a diverse selection of comedy. There’s something for everyone. They treat their employees well and it shows in their content.
Great content, app needs some work
The content is top notch, the iPad app could use some work. When connected to a keyboard spacebar doesn’t work for pausing content, neither does the arrows for skipping forward of backward. Pretty basic features for a video app
Absolutely worth the cost!
Come for dimension 20 stay for game changer!!
Amazing content, poor UI
Amazing content, poor UI
Well worth the laughs per dollar
The cost of this service is well worth it. All the content I’ve seen is so damn funny.
Yay!
Jättebra tjänst men det sker en konstig grej när man kör på TV:n där den fryser till varje sekund och lixom hackar till lite vilket är väldigt jobbigt. Vi brukar casta från mobilen istället, men det hade varit najs om det bara funkade lixom.
Superior Content
The best comedy content. The best D&D live play content. New episodes and shows regularly. A dramatically better value than any other streaming service.
Like Netflix but
they’re not cancelling all my favourite shows!
