Terrible
The worst dating app I've ever tried—SUPER expensive, the prices are absurd, and the cheapest option is extremely limited. I wasted my money.
No different than the other apps
I paid for the highest membership for six months. There are still paywalls and microtransactions. There were more educated women but that's where the differences stop. It sells itself as a higher grade or exclusive group but anyone can join the app with votes or a sponsor. You'll see doctors and waitresses just like every other app. Not that that matters but the concept of exclusivity is a joke. It just takes advantage of the vulnerable people with a little more money than the rest. I was also scammed by a “member”, like I said no different. It's also owned by the same company as the rest. Don't waste your money.
Verification Process is Slow
I don’t understand how much time you guys need to verify someone’s Profile. Pls resolve otherwise no need of Downloading the App
Worthless outside of NYC & LA
If you don’t live in one of the handful of major cities that actually have a lot of members, be prepared to see profiles from hundreds of miles away. Maybe you’re fine with that, but for me; long distance is the wrong distance
Criteria not adjusted
for some reason, the website seems to think I should be dating women 30 years younger than me. I wish that could be set so I don’t have to wait through those.

Love the dating selection, but the app keeps showing me people who live in different states and don’t match my age and height preferences that I have set. It sucks when you only get to vote on 3 people every day and they don’t even live anywhere near me

Money Grab and Full of Bots
I downloaded this and thought like they advertised that it was indeed a curated persons app but everyone can get in and most of my matches are bots who don’t respond. This is probably done in an effort to get you to pay for there subscriptions. The app is garbage.

Good site but you have to pay
The girls on here are very nice, but be aware that the app only allows you to see three different people per day. Unless if you pay more if you wanna match with more people and most people on here are not very responsive.

Quality few, competitive
This is a neat approach to dating. There are few in each cohort but they are more competitive than others on other apps. This is a neat approach in that there are few/limited opportunities to match that those who are not competitive self-select out. It is a great approach to matching, it is deliberately slow, and helps to create better opportunities. This is a good service for those that are decently attractive and would like fewer, higher quality matches. The same rules apply, have engaging conversations, be interesting, and ideally you’ll find more appeal.
An app the nickel and dimes you
Bad matches, same people as other apps, you get 4 swipes a day only unless you want to unload your bank account. Don’t waste your time. Dane people as bumble.
It’s nice! It could be better
I really like this dating app, with only 3 profiles a day it really pushes you to take a deeper look on the people they show you. Two things I don’t like: the concierge keep sending me messages every day, even if I open them I keep having a message notification while opening the app, it makes me think I received a message from another user, but no. The other thing is: I have a lot of profiles from other countries, it’s nice but when you’re searching to bound with someone it’s not very convenient.
Don’t waste your time
I like the general idea of this app. An app where serious minded people (financially and career wise) can find other like minded individuals. Only problem in that statement is the word “find” because you’ll never be doing any of that. I’ve used many apps prior and never had the issue of not getting a match, let alone a like. I’m unsure if it’s because this app only gives you 5 swipes a day or what. After waiting on the list and using the app a few months, I strongly suggest you skip the line and don’t waste your time

One of the better dating apps I’ve used in a while. Women are smart, gorgeous, accomplished and intentional. The small batch of curated profile is useful. And you pay for what you get. Has been a really fun experience for me so far (1 month in)
Not worth any money
I’ve had the app for maybe 2 months, went through nearly all of my daily matches and haven’t gotten a single match or a single like. Use the basic hinge unpaid service I’ve gotten roughly 50 matches in the same amount of time and this one I’m paying for monthly! One of the worst dating apps I’ve been on.
Not good for women
You get 5 options to choose from a day unless you pay lol and you don’t get to choose an age group so they’re gonna give you men way too old and that’s about it.
Message bugs
Unlike many reviews I do think the app is average and fine. However one thing that drives me mad is that messages appear as notifications but aren’t visible for 10 mins inside the app. There’s clearly real time messaging bugs that need solving
The BEST dating app
It seems there are many who are disappointed in this dating app from the numerous reviews I’ve read. I met my person within one month of posting my profile (with full intention to meet THE ONE). He is everything I could have asked for and more. My best advice is to give this a chance, using the guidance from the concierge (think they gave my man a nudge!) because you can truly find your someone special like I have. I will forever appreciate The League, it has lead me to the man of my dreams.
Garbage UI and Price
The prices range from $45/week to $3,000. Extremely unrealistic and no quality whatsoever of any kind (e.g., people, UI, costumer service, etc.) Just a scam for gullible people. Do NOT be one…

People on this app do not answer and purely just want physical relationships what they advertise is not accurate and not worth the money
Cannot continue connections
Feels overly polished and fake. Everything is locked behind paywalls, and you can’t do much without buying extras. It kills the genuine vibe.

Nearly $100 a Month for a Very Limited Experience
I really wanted to give The League a fair chance, which is why I was willing to pay nearly $100 for a one-month subscription. Unfortunately, even in the short time I’ve been using the paid version, I’m extremely disappointed and genuinely confused about what I’m paying for. For that price, I expected significantly more access and a dating experience tailored to the preferences I selected. Instead, I’m given a small batch of approximately 4–6 profiles at a time, and many of those profiles don’t even meet the preferences I’ve set. I’ve been shown people outside of my preferred age range and people whose relationship goals don’t align with what I’m looking for. Some aren’t looking for marriage or intentional dating at all. After going through a batch, I’m then expected to wait hours—sometimes until the next day—for another small batch. So I’m paying nearly $100 a month, yet I can’t freely browse a larger pool of potential matches, and when the app finally does provide another batch, I’m still being shown people who don’t meet my basic preferences. What makes this even more frustrating is how limited the preference settings are at this subscription level. So far, I’m primarily able to control things like age and distance. For an app that markets itself as a more selective dating experience, I expected much more detailed compatibility filtering—especially for paying members. I don’t expect an app to magically find my perfect partner, and I understand that no dating app can guarantee that every profile will be compatible. But if I’m paying this much for a subscription, I do expect the app to consistently honor the preferences it allows me to select and give me substantially more access than this. At this point, I genuinely don’t understand the value of the subscription. I’m paying a premium price while still being heavily restricted in who I can see, how many profiles I can view, how frequently I can view them, and which preferences I can use. I don’t regret trying it because I wanted to give the app a fair chance for myself. But based on my experience so far, I am not satisfied with what I’m receiving for the price. I hope The League eventually reconsiders its subscription model. Paying members should have much broader access to the dating pool and better filtering, while optional paid features could focus on things like profile boosts, increased visibility, or other enhancements. Charging a premium subscription price while continuing to heavily restrict the basic dating experience simply doesn’t feel worth it.
Be ready to pay up
Yeah the dating app is free, but you have to pay for everything on it to be usable. They will send you about 6-8 people at one time and once you swipe through all of them that’s all you get for 24 hours before they send you a new batch. You also cannot see ANYONE who likes you first unless you pay for it. They give you a technical support robot and if you message it to complain it just won’t respond. I have Hinge as well and I’ve already gotten 20+ matches, while I downloaded this at the same time and have 0 on this app, and at this point I’ve had these apps for days.
Out of country matches
Despite my setting being Toronto 95% of my matches are outside of Canada so it’s getting frustrating

This is marketed as a higher caliber pool but it is the same people on Hinge etc but just repackaged with higher pricing. Skip it
Not good
£99 a month for 5 ‘matches’ a day. Not a single ‘match’ that would consider liking, including people in open relationships looking for a bit of fun, when I’m looking for a long term relationship…. How is that a match?
Wrong geography
Great candidates but 2 out of 10 are in my region. I feel this wastes my money …. Don’t know how to get them to respect my filters.
Not sure why so many negative reviews
Sure it’s overwhelming expensive but the experience so far has been great. Daily 3 matches. The selection process is great. You get to talk to quality people and they always organise events. I’m going to one in two weeks called “wine” and something. After using traditional dating apps, The League to me is very appealing.
What a scam
Don’t waste your time and money on this app. Thought I would try it as a second app to raya and what a disappointment. No one is on the app and I’m in Los Angeles. Hardly any matches or conversations. I do very well on Raya and hinge
Quality of prospects vs money charged is imbalanced
So the app takes a frustratingly long time to accept you as a member. This is to try and filter you out and make sure you are a top prospect. However there seems to be a huge imbalance as the prospects that are sent to me either live miles away or are simply not what I would call elite. They other problem is they try to push the ladies who look like models - ultimately who will be out of my league so there is a massive mismatch. They only send three prospects per day. This just doesn’t work. It might if they were local, had similar interests etc then perhaps. Additionally women don’t tend to search for men. They set up the profile and sit back whilst hundreds of messages reach them from men and they take their pick. So like all apps this one is also flawed. Then there is the big one. In order to do anything with this app (navigation is not intuitive) then be prepared to hit the big money. However if your going to spend this k d of money you are better off joining an elite dating agency who will be so much better in actively searching and arranging by dates with people who will be a good match. The idea behind this app is good but the people on it can be found on tinder and bumble. Certainly not the app and quality of people it portrays. A real shame.
The app is not in line with their own company mission
For a dating app that’s motto is to designed for “overly ambitious people” hosting League Live at 5pm is criminal. No one who is overly ambitious finishes work at 5pm. The average workday finishes at 6 in the UK and that’s before overtime. Secondly having to pay to restrict age range is ridiculous! I’m 25 and want to get married and have kids soon. Im sorry but no 23 year old man feels the same - I don’t want to date 22 year olds. Why are you monetising something like that is so basic? It just shows you lack the desire to actually make good matches for the people using your app.
