Font size issues
I would rate this app a whole lot higher except you can’t make the font on the article listing bigger. I have it set to “Huge” in the settings but it never changes.

Almost unusable on Apple devices
Content wise it’s excellent. Use ability is horrible on an apple touch screen device as when ready to scroll you get the zoom in screen. Same on ipad and iphone but not on android. Tried all the supposed fixes.

No Notifs?
Spent $80 on a year subscription to this hoping that i’d be able to get info I care about blared at me via iPhone notifications. 3 weeks ago: I enabled all the topics I care about then , turned on notifications as loud as possible - sounds, badges, banner style persistent, announce notifs (on), show previews (always), prioritize notifications (on). Have yet to receive a single notification from this app but it does have a little “1010” red missed notification tag on its app button. What a bummer!

Not Designed with Accessibility in Mind
There’s no options to change font size in the app’s interface with the expecting of article text font size. It’s great that the article font is dynamic, but it’s useless if the user can’t read the text on their feed to click the article or the text in the app’s interface / settings.
Like this app except.........
That phrase seems to be mentioned a lot for reviews of this app, sorry but it's true. I don't ask for much or need much. All I want is an app that shows me articles from the feeds I selected. The issue is, why do I have to start the app twice on my iPad to get it to display the news from the feeds? It is really getting annoying .....annoying to the point that I'm thinking of switching again.

Should have more free functions
Lots of stuff is not free. Also not so easy to use. Especially for scientific contents.
A lot of feeds are breaking
I really liked this app but now am finding that the feeds are breaking, even for feeds which are found through the Discover section of the application.
Does not work with VoiceOver
App does everything I would like it too but it's incompatible with VoiceOver. Buttons are not labeled so voiceover says merely "button" rather than helpful descriptive text.

My favorite RSS reader
I love the interface, options, and the paid content is really useful (but not usage breaking if you don’t want to pay). I’ve tried several RSS readers and this is by far the best. My only complaint (and the reason I’m reducing by one star) is when the app says in the top corner that there are “x New Articles” but I still have the manually pull down to refresh. I’d like it a lot better if it automatically added the new stories into my feed as it found them.

This just started recently. Is it something I did or is a fix coming? Ok restarted the iPad now ok I just hope this isn't a recurring thing. 4 stars for now.
recent update broke it
I was happily using this rss reader until the most recent update wiped all of my subscriptions. Any product that fails this badly after an update is not reliable enough to use.
Clean interface, can add any sources, plenty of features for free users
Great app. I love that I can add whatever sources (RSS primarily in my case) and organize my topics from my sources. All the “recommended” content from YouTube and twitter is just annoying. One thing recently is that in iOS, the white bar at the bottom of the screen doesn’t fade when I’m reading. Looks like a bug. Please fix this. Then I’ll change to 5 stars.
Images don't load on column view!
Images load sporadically on column view! IPhone 15 pro max iOS 17.5. Same on my IPad Pro 13. Pro version of the app.
With some design tweaks, could replace Feedly
I’m sick of Feedly and was looking for another reader. I was interested in this one because the web version is way better and I like to use both mobile and web. Unfortunately, the UX on the mobile app makes me want to delete it right way. It’s no fun to need to travel all the way to the top left screen to navigate to anything new. Please add a menu at the bottom of the screen to make it more user-friendly. I was curious about the Reddit and blue sky integrations but I can’t get over this unpleasant UX.

iOS and iPadOS Apps - Settings are laid out in a non-intutive way which can make finding what you’re looking for difficult. - Inline menus just look weird which wouldn’t bother me as much if they actually worked. - You CANNOT use the option to use the iOS native sharesheet which means you have to rely on their share options which are very limited. I emailed them months ago, possibly a year ago and they just said that they are aware it doesn’t work. This is going to be a deal breaker for me because my preferred read it later service is not supported by their app’s share sheet so I’ve been relying on IFTT to create a bridge which is not my favorite considering I’ve been paying for the Pro membership for a while. Pro Service itself - It’s powerful. I really enjoy the filters and de-duplication function. - It does way more stuff than I personally need. Way, way more stuff. I’ve been continuing to subscribe to support the developers but the share sheet bug is killing me so I probably won’t renew. - Service is stable, in several years I can’t recall an outage. Final thoughts - It’s my favorite RSS as a service provider out there, even though there’s not a ton of competition these days. - I probably won’t renew and will look elsewhere once my subscription expires, for me it’s hobbled by the share sheet bug they don’t seem to plan to fix. - I think they are doing a rebuild so my guess is that they are using all their resources to fix forward for a new app. I could live with that if I weren’t paying a pretty penny so that’s probably it for me when my sub ends. - If you don’t plan to use apps and go web only, you’ll enjoy the service. Especially if you’re a power user. Up to you if the math works out.
News Updates for an Anxious Mind
I have had a hard time balancing staying informed and not doomscrolling, and Inoreader has been a lifesaver in this. I can keep informed on local and national issues, while also not having terrifying headlines staring me in the face when I’m done with examining them. 150 sources is awesome for the free plan, and I have been impressed with how easy it is to share an article to my friends. Thanks!
App doesn’t work on iPad
Unfortunately can’t sign in on iPad using app. Have to use it in a browser
Not a full review but this is urgent
I love this app. I use it almost every day. It certainly needs an extensive review but for the moment something irks me A LOT: it’s not normal that an app runs a spelling check on the stuff we input in an integrated search field. This ought to be disabled. I don’t want the app to tell me whether the terms I enter in the search field are grammatically correct or not. Please fix this.
Slow or Unable to Download
After several attempts to download articles, some loaded slowly and most could not download. My other platforms are lightning fast. I gave it a fair trial but, in the end, life is too short.
Good functionality week UI
Good service with good functionality. I like the web app, but find the iOS app to be unpleasant to use. The font size on list pages is extremely small and not adjustable. The text to voice is great, but there is no speed control. Both of these are significant disappointments Similar types of reader and RSS applications.
Best RSS I’ve used with the Most Respectable Free Tier.
Great app that isn’t overly complicated or sleazy and has a heart to give us poor folks a free tier that’s actually topped the premium tiers in other rss apps . it’s a hefty free feed and I whole heartily recommend it.
WiFi
After trying to get into the app for the entire day and it giving me that error. I am going back to the old reader app I used. Like I mention below everything else works on WiFi except out of nowhere this app today. This is an issue with the app and I won't be using an app that does not work. Tried to use the app this morning and I keep getting an error I have no connection. It says something else but I can't recall the exact wording. If I turn off my WiFi the app works but I am not going to turn my WiFi off and on multiple times a day to get the app to work. I have reset my modem and same issue. I know it's the app and not my WiFi as all my other apps work just fine. If this continues to be an issue I will stop using the app as it has become useless.
Really like this
I really like this newsreader. Has all the sources I enjoy in one place. My only problem, and this isn't the reader's fault, is that it crashes from time to time because I am using an older iPad with an older OS.

Widget?
What happened to the home screen widget? That was one of my favorite features of the app. It’s still a good app, but could be a lot better if they added the home screen widget back.
One of my favorite apps
Inoreader helps me get a ton done. I love it. Truly.
A lot of features, but the main functionality doesn’t work.
I can’t see the full article because it goes beyond the edge of the screen, and there’s no way to scroll. The biggest disappointment: I wanted to read the news this morning, but the app said there were no new articles. I checked the source directly, and of course, there were 30+ new articles. I’ve been trying to refresh for an hour, but still nothing updates in the app. I ended up reading everything outside the app.
Seems like a down grade in some ways
Two issues with the new version on an iPad: (1) the list font is way too big. Give us a preference on list size. (2) there should be some way to keep the left side rss list panel stay open when in landscape.
Broken
Latest update no longer works. Keeps telling me 'everything read' for last few days. If I select a site from my list the app crashes. This is on a iPhone 5s.
Rules randomly stop working
Out of nowhere rules will just stop working. I’ll notice that I haven’t gotten any push notifications for a while, which is odd, so I’ll go into the app and run the rule and it’ll always find articles, none of which I received a push notification for. Also, idk if this has been fixed yet, but app updates will randomly turn rules back on that I had disabled. The only reason I pay monthly for this app is the rules feature, which is nice… when it works. Also, this is my second time leaving a review. Not sure how or why but my last one was deleted it seems.
Avoid all of the garbage
Pick your sources and get the text of every post delivered to you. No ads banners or any other garbage to wade thru. Simply awesome
iPad app crashes a lot
It’s a helpful tool to organize and skim through the news without dealing with all the social media foolishness. It takes time to set up and curate the feed. But once done it’s a good tool. I find, though, that it constantly crashes when scrolling through feeds on my iPad.

Works very well, although it would be nice if it could cache its contents to continue reading when internet drops.

Worked well initially, but recent updates cause it to crash constantly. Disappointing, because this is a great rss service.
Don't give it your email
As a reader it's fine but it was sending me over 5 emails a day, don't give it your email at all.
