All and sundry have crowded the Indian Railway web site Hours have been spent searching various websites and still could not log into the genuine India Railway’s website.

Why does this app divert the booking at Confirm Ticket app coz there we have to pay xtra charges as agent charges Isn’t it very wierd

Give it to private party to debug all issues I see on mobile app. I guess big boss don’t use it to see the problem and qty of ads it shows, before showing 15 seconds information. Am from Canada and totally disappointed by its performance. Please fix the issues. Thanks

Please enable booking through direct app not from some third party app . We need search again the smae iternary for booking with more agent fees.
Tech & customer service
I am unable to complete my profile. When I login and select update profile, nothing happens on the webpage. When I called the customer service I’m told just wait and try again after sometime.
E-tickets
Eventually managed to book tickets but very difficult to understand that though they were confirmed we did not actually have the berths booked!!! Hard to understand what all the bookings mean. However when we cancelled all our money, except for administration charges, was refunded almost immediately so excellent from that point of view.

It seems the primary motive of this app is to harass would be travelers with long adverts and confusing layouts

Can’t book tickets cos +91 is default. Can’t change it to my code to enter my mobile number.

Full of irritating advertisements which comes between the transactions. Often app becomes very sluggish to operate.

I’m from England and I find the train service in India excellent value and a great way to see the countryside. I found the sign posting for which carriage and which seat easy to find. I travelled from Guwahati to Siliguri yesterday and I’m travelling to Darjeeling tomorrow on the Toy train.
Nightmare
I just want to check the status of my train, but I can not even click on the numerous ads that keep popping up. Extremely well-executed pop-up advertisements. Even failing to support its primary goal.

Helpful app but really irritating pop up ads happen too frequently. Only need the app for a couple weeks so not willing to pay to remove the obnoxious full screen ads!

It’s a horrible app. It takes time to open and on each click, There is an advertisement that appears! If Govt apps work like this who would like to subscribe for it. Please try to make it as easy and workable as possible.

I think the app works — it’s the poor information from the stations that is a problem. Good for planning, but useless for live info anout either train or station.

Really good app BUT
I really liked this app and still do but I discovered a crucial error. I was tracking the train that I was travelling on using Live Train status. I wanted to let people know when I would arrive. The statua showed most of the journey time except for the last stop - my stop. It said the train has already arrived to its final destination when it was still travelling to get there (thirty minutes late).
