It is the best phone scanner that I’ve ever used and I’ve used it for a long time and it is 100% reliable can’t say enough good things it’s great
Another good app ruined
Used to be incredibly useful, you could email scans of a page to yourself. Now all options to export are locked behind a pay wall and it gives you a ton of ads for their other app. Uninstalled immediately. Just use Microsoft lens instead. It’s also riddled with annoying ads for their premium plan but at least it actually lets you export
Great Scanning tool with enhance features
I’ve been using tool for several years and it’s my go to scanner. I even paid for the subscription. My 2 recommendations for enhancements: 1) add a done tab when the Premier option, either camera roll or share option is completed. This option is already available on the Evernote selection. 2) when share to Dropbox option is use, have the ability to add the search file function, which is already present on the Evernote option.
Log in daily!
this would be a really great app if I didn’t have to log in again to Evernote almost every time I open the app!
Updates Changed Everything
I used to love this app. Somehow through app updates it has turned from an incredibly useful app to a complete headache. First, I am constantly being logged out of Evernote, which by itself isn’t the issue, except it takes two to three attempts to sign back in. Second, every time I’m logged out of Evernote it seems to change my default settings from pdf capture to auto capture. It doesn’t seem like a big deal except it starts to capture as a photo and 90% of what I use it for is capturing receipts to upload into our book keeping software, which only accepts pdf format. Unfortunately it goes unnoticed for extended amounts of time. This takes away any convenience this app has since I now have to either recapture all the receipts or I have to upload and convert outside of the app. Disappointing to say the least. The more I use it the less hopeful I am for its future usefulness.
Greatest app ever created!
I say that every time I use this app. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Great app!
Update renders it unusable
Older version was working just fine. New version, which I was forced to download to keep using the app, no longer allows me to share a single document; it’s all docs or nothing. So I’m paying for Evernote and can no longer use the scanning app that’s supposed to pair with it.
Deleted after 5+ years of daily use
Evernote have spoiled this app. Suddenly it’s no longer free. Wouldn’t be against paying a small fee, or seeing some ads to keep the app free, but this isn’t a reasonable price for a scanning app. There’s a pop up that says “log in to continue without upgrading” but you’re unable to get past this stage. Very disappointed. Will be lost without it.
Well used to be great now just good
I use this in conjunction with their sister app Evernote. Scanner works well and integrates with Evernote. I’m paying more for my Evernote but some how the features I used to enjoy are t available without an additional subscription

Don’t Subscribe
I subscribed so I could save my documents in more ways, specifically to my camera roll. Tried repeatedly to do so, no saved images. Canceled.

アプリを閉じると毎回手打ちでEvernoteにログインしないとならず不便です、、、 アプリの仕様説明まで毎回出てくるので、スキャンが終わるまでに時間がかかります。 プリントの管理に使っており、便利なのですが、ここだけは改善希望します。
Recurring issue
App works well if you want to scan into Evernote but not so good to email or text. Is an option if you pay, should be included as Evernote member cut there is a malfunction which has existed for years
Great also flawed
As a scanning app it is really good. One of the best I have tried to get a document into pdf or jpeg format. The one major flaw is the app does not keep me logged in. I have to relog in multiple times a day. I even paid for the service hoping they would handle paid customer better, but same result

To everyone complaining it’s not working just download the Evernote app and link them it works fine.
Should not have to sign in to save files
Terrible app. Would not recommend. They let you scan the files but when you want to save them or share them you have to sign in to do anything. And they want you to pay to save them directly on your phone
The good and the bad
This is one of the best scanning apps which I use regularly, in conjunction with Evernote. Unfortunately in their quest for evermore profit they no longer allow people (with an Evernote account or not) to send documents from the app unless you pay them a monthly fee. You now have to save the document to Evernote and send it from Evernote. If you don’t need it you the. Have to delete it from Evernote. This simple change adds several steps to the previously simple method of “ scan and send” which in my view WAS one of the best available apps. Hopefully, if they actually read comments, they will change - why not continue to allow those with Evernote accounts to scan and send like you used to? Anyway if anything equivalent comes up I’m going to change - for that reason. Loyalty has just evaporated 😌
Best all around until Evernote got involved
This was such a handy app to scan documents on the fly and send emails or share them with whomever. Now sending an email from an app is suddenly behind a paywall. Or you now have to save to Evernote therefore download a separate app and send from there. Where you are constantly inundated. With pop-ups about moving to a paid plan. Sometimes files don’t need to be saved as a scan and send is sufficient and then they are saved at their final destination.

Super application que j’utilise ponctuellement mais depuis longtemps et ils ont décidé de faire passer les fonctionnalités gratuites en payantes ….. Ça ne donne pas envie d’un coup de payer mais de supprimer l’application. Je ferai autrement !

Great when it works!
This is a great scanner. The persistent, pesky issue is the apps inability to stay connected to Evernote. Evernote, its companion app to store and process scans is also great. The connectivity between the two is a real pain in the posterior! Just when you need it most, it takes on the aura of a printer or copier and goes on the Fritz. This happen often enough that I am now motivated to have it lose two stars. I hate that it will not stay connected to Evernote! The inability to stay connected to Evernote persists! Very, very frustrating when it is integrated into our accounting process. NOT reliable!
Broke a great app
This is an amazing app I have used for years. In their efforts to charge for it, they have totally ruined it. I save my files to Evernote as the app intends, but now EVERY SINGLE TIME I have to log into Evernote to use it. That is a giant pain, especially if you trying to scan a receipt while still in store. If you can stand the carry on of logging in every single time, it’s a great app. Update - I’ve paid for upgrade purely so I can save scans without being forced to log onto Evernote EVERY SINGLE TIME. It didn’t stop the constant logging on. Aaarrgghhh
Best phone scan app

Forced to pay to download photos
Absolutely gross they have decided to monetize every last aspect of this app. If you want to use the app now, you have to give your data away to Evernote so they can sell it to 3rd party vendors and/or retain valuable, sensitive data for years- or you have to PAY to download to your photo album. Do better.
Suddenly now directs all documents to evernote
I have been using this app for a few years now without any issues. However, the last few weeks the app will not allow me to save scanned documents to my personal files anymore and allow saving in Evernote as the only option. This is cumbersome. I have now stopped using this app.
really not good anymore
I was a longtime user of scannable, but it seems in recent updates it’s tried to oversimplify the interface and is overall glitchier. It doesn’t have the ability to just scan and share a file anywhere, instead requiring you to sync with Evernote and send to a notebook there. It also has zero manual options for your camera — no way to adjust the focus, zoom in or out, or otherwise get a sharp looking picture before it snaps a photo and attempt to convert to PDF. You *can* turn off the automatic photo taking feature, but it doesn’t mean anything when the in-app camera is like a dumbed down version of the regular iPhone camera. Without the ability to zoom or adjust focus or switch to the macro or wide lens, your success rate at getting a quality scan lies within a very delicate window where lighting and focus and random chance are all on your side at the moment of capture. I just switched over to Adobe’s scan OCR app for now and am having an easier time getting the end documents I need.

Used to be incredible
Used to be an incredible and life saving app, for free. Then I updated and it’s trying to charge 2.99 a week to use the useful features. Highly disappointed.

Waste of time
I USED to love this app. Was so simple and you just send pdfs immediately. It was great. But now, it forces you to send to evernote or pay $5/month. Just a rip off and waste of time.

Useless without the additional app
This is not a stand-alone app and is not useful unless you download an extra app to be able to move your documents off of the app

Estou usando iPhone 14 com iOS 17.0.3 Quando digitalizo um documento na hora de salvar escolho PDF, mas mesmo assim ele salva em JPEG (Em um iPhone antigo ele salva em PDF normal)
Retrograde step.
Both Evernote and Scannable were my go to apps. Not anymore. Impossible to scan anything. Painful to find it, having to send to Evernote every time rather than scan and mail or share like before. Please take note!

I love Scannable!!
Scammable
The app says you can open your app for free in Evernote but you cannot . So they let you waste time scanning a large file to coerce you to pay or you can’t access it.
Used to be a great app for all
Now it’s only useful to Evernote subscribers 🤷🏽♂️ Thankfully now you can just use the inbuilt document scanner in the native iOS Notes app Click into a note, select the context menu (circle icon with 3 dots) > “Scan” It does the same auto framing, lighting, cropping as scannable.
Half the usefulness it was
The scanning part of this app is brilliant and I used to give the app as a whole 5 stars. But I’ve been using a paid Evernote subscription for decades and was able to use all of Scannable’s features for free. I’m still a subscribed Evernote user but, all of a sudden, I’m required to pay for Scannable if I want all its features. This is completely unreasonable given the price of Evernote is high. I can completely understand why an Evernote user who uses the free level should pay for Scannable if they want to use all the features. But surely those of us who pay a high price for an Evernote subscription should get the able thing free! Come on Bending Spoons. Be reasonable!!
Uploading scanned to my photo library
Somehow for the last month, multiple scans aren’t uploading to my photo library?
Been horrid since Evernote acquired it
They make it deliberately so much worse than it used to be. Before I could just scan some pictures and send them to myself and now it’s all locked behind horrible Evernote paywall multi app dysfunction. It’s a no from me dawg.
Not usable anymore
I was always very happy with the app as you could scan a document and send it via email, or other media. Since it is connected to Evernote it became rather useless as recipients can’t open the document unless they have Evernote. Unless there is a solution - time to move on
