Pen to Print Review
I am very impressed. The software reads my fountain pen written script, (a poor example of cursive writing) & gets it about 90% correct. I have built a support system for my iPad & the large notebook that I have written in, to give consistency & stability. This improved the accuracy from about 70% (handheld) to 90%. The 10% inaccuracy is due mainly to the loops on my letters of q,y,p,f,g,j etc crossing over text on the line below. Had I have used double spacing the accuracy would be about 95%+ I suspect. The software definitely has a problem with my & symbol. The software also struggles with punctuation marks like !, ? Etc. All in all I am very impressed. An excellent product & much better than several other apps that I tried but didn’t like their output. I am very happy with my purchase of this app. Thank you Rod H.
Very limited options unless pay
Unable to use without signing up to subscription. Free version will not allow to export texts so not useful for me.
Difficult to use
When I took a pic it didn’t recognise the number of lines I had.
PTP is Excellant
Good one, some editing needed all over good
Already bought but again asking to buy
I already bought it few years ago but never used because there was no option to take multiple photos at a time , now update came and in app ONE TIME PURCHASE is gone and unable to restore. Please fix this.
Pretty good app comes handy
It is pretty handy app specially for students. You can save time turning notes to texts and it is precise enough. But it does give you an option to correct the mistakes. Overall pretty good!
Not able to get started only🤔🤔🤔
It’s not consumer friendly as one cannot go ahead
Quality Fairly Ok. Price TOO MUCH
Quality Fairly Ok. Price TOO MUCH
Good app
It’s very good for writing notes
Quite useless, consider another app
Wrong more often than right, will not function without an internet connection and practically featureless without in app purchases. I have to ask why apple even approved it for the App Store.
This is great!
Pen to print reads my handwriting of a piece of paper with 70% accuracy for a lengthy scribble. With my normal handwriting, it should be a breeze to convert meeting notes to typed text.
Subscription
Good app, but I can’t cancel the subscription and it’s charging me $5 for something I don’t use anymore. Can you please help
Wonderful
I liked this app at the first go. Easy to use.
Bizarre…
Keeps turning my camera 90 degrees with each image… my text is right way round…
A super enjoyable and handy app
Great app
Amazing
It is very fast and accurate. I highly recommended it.
Meg
This would have to be the hardest app I have ever tried to learn. Trying to line up handwritten text into blue lines is impossible. It didn’t know how to translate measurements & many common kitchen terms. Therefore I had to type so much in that it would have been quicker to type it up from my handwritten note in the first place. Sorry but this app is not worth it even if free.
Awesome !
Just need to play with it to understand like most apps.
Super very helpful
Great app
Worst app......Ever seen in my life.....😡😡😡
...full of glitch
Really Good
Will use it for few day and will buy full version ..My handwriting is fast and bad while taking notes still this app converted 80% Accurate. 👍
Good
Really helpful. Feels like if I could write a book.
Better Off Using An OCR App
I tried to use it with handwritten text only. If your handwriting isn't straight, it splits lines of text. Over 50% of the lines I had to edit as it incorrectly scanned words (which defeats to purpose). It would have been quicker to retype the half page list again. I've gotten better results from other note taking apps (google keep, scanbot, notes) I even tried to send info to developer via their built in feedback. Didn't like my email address so cleared out the info I'd typed. I wouldn't pay for this in any lifetime. One star gets on word - Garbage.

Waste of time and data
Good job
Excellent
Doesn’t recognise cursive
Useless with cursive. Didn’t recognise 90% of my writing
Amazing app
It gets it almost every time correctly it is accurate about 95%. I recommend you guys to use it.
App hangs
My phone hangs while taking photos for handwriting. Even I click photos in portrait mode it shows full screen landscape. After that app closes. Is it because yawing free version?
