Privacy concerns
The app collects a ridiculous amount information from your phone that is linked to your identity. WHY IS A BANKING APP COLLECTING PRIVATE INFORMATION?!??
On line banking doesn’t always work
I had a payment to one person go missing two months in a row. I don’t know that I will trust bill pay with STCU again!
App speed
The app works well when it wants to. But randomly I’ll go to open it and nothing will load it’ll just sit at a big purple Stcu screen literally sat on it for 10 minutes still nothing. No connection problems just an app problem.

Wish my business account could transfer funds to my personal account.

Love/Hate
I love that STCU is a local credit union and with that comes lower interest rates blah blah blah. I’ve never missed a payment on a 34k vehicle… I have thousands of dollars inside my account. Trying to build credit I applied for a credit card and I’m only getting approved for 1/5th of the money I have inside my account. It’s almost like why do I trust them with my money if they can’t trust me with even 25% of the money I allow them to hold. Plus the solid payment history over the years of my loan. The APY on savings accounts are low. Can’t see pending direct deposits. Thinking of switching to chime 🤔

I just love the people at STCU. They are always helpful and resolve things quite quickly. I would recommend them to anybody.

Login needs some work
You need to incorporate Apple’s password into your login. I don’t want biometric because I have two different logins. One personal and one business. So I don’t want to log into the same one everytime. What I do want is for the app to tell Apple that I am trying to log on to STCU.org so that the keyboard prompts me to use one of the two passwords I have saved in Apple passwords. Many other banking and credit card apps I have allows this.

This app is terrible! I try to use the online banking service and it doesn’t let me connect my external accounts and has so many bugs!
Saving Money
I preface this with the understanding that a lot of my money managing is created easier by the way my budget is set up, but! ; I was able to set up 3 separate checking accounts, each with scheduled deposits and withdrawals that I can manage right from the app! And I only had to pay a one time 10$ membership fee! This sets up my finances to provide for my family, save my money, ( and hide it from myself by not having access to too much of my savings unless it is an emergency ) and make sure I never have to worry about a subscription or payment coming back declined or over drafting my card! The moneys always there. No transferring. Just user friendly budgeting c: Only thing I would change is make it more personalizable - even slight settings can give the user more creative freedom. And make viewing the cards information easier, it’s really hard to access
Login process is a hassle
It is absolutely ridiculous how bad the login process/verification process. I’m a member of 2 other credit unions that are a dream.
Limited mobile transfers, otherwise it’s the best!
My one and only complaint is that the amount of transfers you can make in a month from your device is limited. Otherwise the app as a whole is efficient, easy to use, and getting support or help is so easy!

User friendly
I find whenever I need something done on my accounts, or if I need to find some information, I can always find it on the app. It’s been a great experience so far, and easily the best online banking system I’ve experienced.

Been out of prison for almost 6 months now. First time I went in the lady who helped me open my account was so nice. I had a check from prison that I wanted to deposit. Obviously she knew where I was coming from. I was a little anxious and uncomfortable. Being fresh out I had already experienced unpleasant experiences with ppl who knew my situation. She could tell I was feeling some type of way. Told me to relax and make the most of my newly earned freedom. Gave me some advice and was soo friendly. Due to my current situation I haven’t been able to take advantage of all the services Stcu provides, but I’m in the process of getting my life in order, but for now thank u for letting me be a part of your business.
