Daily ritual
Great app. Incredible accuracy and recovery data.
Needs updating
The app hasn’t been updated in two years. The sound option for hearing breathing is not working. The app needs some care.
Good feedback, needs tweaking
HR reading with chest strap has unnecessary fluctuations resulting in inaccurate HR average. Not sure how much that effects HRV
Glitchy beyond use
Worked fine for three weeks but has glitched entirely now. Recently paid for app integration but doesn’t drag in Strava data automatically so have to do it manually and I just added Apple Health today and now I can’t even open the Elite HRV app. Have tried restarting phone, and everything is unlinked in Apple Health. No way of fixing. I don’t want to delete app and lose all my built up data. Not impressed so far. Integrations are useless.
I wish it could sync better with Google health connect
It’s a great app and I use it every day and it gives great information, but I wish it could sync with Google health connect. I tried to get my data to sync many times but it just doesn’t work.

Once a great app
I purchased their CoreSense device and several courses. Now the app hasn’t been updated for over 9 months and the CoreSense won’t even connect. Plus, years of data now shows as “zero readings”, whether it’s lost or something else I don’t know. But it appears the app has been all but abandoned.
Wahoo no longer?
I mean WTH! For literally years, my Wahoo chest strap has been working. Now it is not! I think you purposely messed this up because of your deal with Polar. NOT COOL! I really loved this app and used it almost daily. No point in it now. 😤😥 Ok… some time has gone by and I’m now giving this four star rating because it’s working with my new Wahoo chest strap. Let’s hope it keeps working well. Also looks like you’ve updated the app a little bit since I used the last.
Good ideas; Really bad app
App is terrible to use. Not much thought went into it. Do the creators use the app they made?
Support?
I would probably give this app a five star as it seems to work well. To me it’s a three star because of the lack of non ai support. There is no apparent way to find out just what the HRV reading is, as it does not match the rmssd reading the app provides if you dig into the data.
Unbelievable Technology
I love the fact that you can take my polar HR 10 chest strap and create such incredible data. I’m loving the online account I have.
Doesn’t receive data
Stuck at waiting to receive pulse data from Polar H10. Other apps work fine.
Love it just add haptic
Love the app. Please add haptic. I don’t want to have to look at the phone to do the breathing. Thank you.
Suddenly not working
Liked the app until today when it would not receive data. Bluetooth is working and chest strap device successfully transmits data to a different app. Tried all steps in troubleshooting to no avail.
App is glitchy
Everything else is awesome
Great app
Wonderful app works well tracks great
App no longer works
Latest version freezes constantly on 13pro. Was my go to HRV app. I’m using a different one now as a result.
Works great
Polar H10 works great for HRV. Morning check is very beneficial.
Disaoppointed since…
Have used this app yesterday normally for one read but than realised today it just lag and freeze after few sec of use. Also, I've used it 2-3 years ago and also discovered that the app also lagged after 1-2 uses on a row without reason. Was not able to recognize my HR strap or just missed the read or even stopped it or became crazy and displayes absurd measures. So far so bad it seems that the developers dis bothing about it. Gave 2 stars because the funfionalities are interesting and innovative but still... Bad luck to the new or even all of the users.
Accuracy?
Using garmin HRM 600. I had a very big day yesterday. I didn’t sleep well last night. I’m exhausted. But I still got a ready score of 8. This score is discordant. I only have 5 days of data within 7 days. Maybe accuracy will improve with more data.
Great! But one request!
Thanks for working on this great app! however, I have one request is that if I can see the heart trend and HRV trend of the entire duration without having to scroll through one minute Windows, but instead see the entire duration in a single view, that would be wonderful to have to know how my heart rate HRV has changed during the entire session. I would appreciate if this feature was added thank you so much! ☺️
Doesn’t work
Stuck on connecting screen. “Waiting to receive pulse data”
Advice please
Several times I’ve taken a reading (1st thing in the morning and lying down) and my Readiness score has been low, after deleting it I retake it which then gives a higher reading(from 1 to 10 in one instance) .. this is in the space of 5 mins and I don’t change position etc and always make sure the signal readings are Good.
Very annoying bug
When you go into the settings menu on some sized iPhones. When your email address is long it covers the back arrow for settings so you can’t return to the previous screen without opening the email account settings.
Lots of detail, but also mistakes
Lots of detailed numbers and analysis. But it’s hard to fully trust it because of various mistakes. The units are wrong in places. The help links next to some numbers don’t discuss that number at all. Etc. Also I hate that they invent their own 0-100 score and use that as the primary number in places. It’s genuinely confusing. And why?? Every app wants to invent their own number because… why exactly? They all think their number is easier to understand than the real burners which are discussed in every blog and every medical journal? Hint: they’re not. UI is fairly nice and polished. Better than many. Although a bit busy for my taste. And the “post this personal medical measurement to twitter” buttons all over the place are a real turn off.
Great App
Part of my daily routine when training.
Doesn’t connect
Connects via Bluetooth to my fenix 7, but when it comes to taking an HRV reading, it just stays on the ‘waiting to receive pulse data from fenix 7 pro’ screen forever! I’ve not been successful in getting a single reading from this app.
Morning readiness

Buggy
I really wanted to like this app, but it’s just so buggy I’m not sure I can continue to use it. I wanted a way to check my HRV without having to get yet another device. I have a whoop which I wear 24/7 and an Apple Watch which I use for when I go out or work out. This uses my whoop to take my readings which I was happy about. However, when I first downloaded it and used it, I kept getting a white screen after my first reading. I also found that my whoop would connect & disconnect regularly. I deleted the app and reinstalled it, it took a reading again with quite a few drops, we will see if I get the white screen again. I’ll give it a few more days, but if the white screen or the failure to connect continues I’ll have to find another way to do ad hoc hrv checks
Great, BUT…
Overall great but why no automated resonance frequency determination? It’s so cumbersome to do manually, seems like if any app would have this it’d be Elite HRV. What gives?
Thumbs up!
This app has paired well with my PoweLab chest strap and has provided helpful and motivating feedback!
Just kept crashing
Worked once then hung every time I opened it.
Mood
Not enough choice
6 years worth of data in apple health not accessible?
Is this really the case? If so... wow.
Explosive potential!
I love what this app has to offer. Its a one stop shop for learning about and improving your HRV unlike anything else on the market. I just wish the breathing exercise UI was more fleshed out and incorporated haptics and sound so i don’t have to stare at the screen while doing breath work. The live monitor before beginning an actual 1 minute base hrv check or breathwork is a bit unnecessary imo. Please keep it up and flesh this thing out - it has so much potential. Would love to partner with you all to bring it to life.
Great HRV app
I use this every morning because I don’t really have a sense of my recovery from a workout first thing in the morning. If I push through below HRV score, I feel it pretty badly later in the day and the next day. So I think it’s fairly accurate. The data from this appears to be far more accurate than what my Apple Watch gives me.
Multiple errors signing up
Continue with Apple freezes. Sign up with email is taken. Verification email loads blank. Cannot reset password. Boo to the devs
Excellent app
Very informative and great health information. As at 07 Feb 2023 - it works fine with Polar H7 heart strap. I would give 5 stars - if there were simple explanations of what the numbers mean. I’m using the App but in the main the numbers are confusing. We need a simpler set of numbers for the general popular who aren’t elite and who are just using it to monitor their health and not completing in the Olympics. Otherwise thank you to the people do have put the app together :)
Polar H10 Connectivity Issues
My Polar H10 connects to other apps. It will pair with Elite HRV but unfortunately Elite HRV won’t take any reading. I’m disappointed because this was my favourite HRV app, incorporating great features for biofeedback. Hope it can get fixed soon!
Need analysis for the data
Nice app, but except for the morning readiness test, there is no interpretation of the numbers. Would love to know more insights from the data, as apps such as Welltory offer, but instead there are just very very specific numbers whose meaning it is impossible to understand.
Amazing
It’s incredible to have this kind of technology in my hands every day. I’m looking forward to using it for many years to come.
Update turned app into a brick
I have been using this app for a couple of months but the latest update broke it and now it’s taking 24 hours for me to get it to update after breathing exercises. I don’t know why the app needs internet access unless data is being collected. I’m sure my phone is fast enough to make calculations in a timely manner.
Excellent for keeping your body away from over training
I can’t really fault this app which has a very handy live preview so you can settle down before recording your HRV. The only thing I would like is to see VO2 MAX, lactate threshold & HR to HRV correlation graph estimates. Otherwise great:-)
I bought a device specifically for this.
Don’t bother. App keeps crashing and when you try and go onto their website you have to agree to all cookies plus they share your data to third parties.
Crushing
Just reinstalled it twice and it’s crushing constantly. Good app when it works.
The daily reading keeps me on track
Elite HRV is super easy to use, and the short daily readiness check gives me a true baseline assessment for my capacity each day.
Has t worked in years
App does not and has not worked on a few different iPhones ( iPhone 11 and 12). If it isn’t going to work on iOS, pull it from the App Store
HRV
Breathing technique takes a bit of getting use to but data is helpful
Brand new H10 !!!
I have a brand new Polar H10 and whilst using Elite HRV app I always get “Signal Quality is Poor” and “29 artifacts detected and 0 corrected” I guess it makes the data meaningless but is it the Polar or the App?
Why the accuracy check?
What’s this accuracy check thing that I have to do now? Been using the morning readings off and on over the years and now I can’t without making sure the room is all lit up and the phone is organised somewhere. Deal breaker for me. It was so easy before.
