Great fun and it’s actually free
Hard to find a great crossword puzzle that doesn’t require payment to remove ads, or just runs ads after every puzzle or bonus. If you’re a cruciverbalist you have to get this app, over 10,000 puzzles and few ads… is this heaven?

There is no dual portrait support
This is a deal breaker . While my iPad charges, the crossword app forces me to use it with the charger running towards me, instead of floating free at the top. This has meant I’ve had to change my charger very often as the neck of the cable is stressed. I tried fixing the orientation on my iPad, to what works, but yours is the only app that does not comply. I really use this app and hope you can update this aspect. Thank you very much
Your new animations are ANNOYING
I like this app, (been using it for years) but your NEW animations after every letter, every word, are TOTALLY absolutely ANNOYING and are using up MY battery. Add an off switch in settings, please! Otherwise I will likely puzzle elsewhere. More actions are NOT necessary, and are a waste of my time

Bugs not fixed for over 6 months
I have sent in multiple issues and there have been multiple updates since. The Daily Diamond Feature has not been fixed. It just takes my tokens and doesn’t let me do a puzzle. So Frustrating! I’m deleting this app and finding a new crossword app.

You will spend more time navigating ads than solving puzzles. Waste of time.
Cool App. But Not Always Fair
Puzzle solutions should not include words that don’t exist. It’s inappropriate and predatory. “WYBER” is not a word. In any language. You owe me 300 coins.

Gone down hill
Been playing since probably 2017-2018 well a few years ago probably 2021 all of my data got deleted it was whatever I looked at it as a way to start fresh and hey meant I had more puzzles to play. Well I started playing again after a couple month break and now there's ads everywhere and it's running terribly. Very disappointing
Scam ads have begun appearing
This is a great app, and I’ve been using it for years. Lately though, when the ad pops up, it is a scam ad- you know, the ones that try to tell you your phone is infected and you need to update your antivirus software? It even presents itself mid-game, rather than before games as usual. Something has gone amiss.
World’s largest puzzle
Love that they’re the largest…wish they were little tougher..too easy, but then again I’ve been doing crosswords my entire life!! Anyways (still give)…five stars..!!!
Insane amount of advertisements!
You have to sit through ads to play a puzzle and then there is an ad playing on the results page when you finish a puzzle. Then to get your coins or tokens from finishing the puzzle (because you have to use those to play more puzzles) you have to sit through another ad! What’s even worse is that once you play through a number of puzzles you have to either buy tokens or watch MORE ADS to get enough tokens to play the next puzzle!! As if you didn’t watch a crazy amount of ads to begin with!! Steer clear of this game! Trust me!!

It’s fun and can be challenging but gets repetitive quickly. It doesn’t take long before you have to pay to unlock puzzles and it’s expensive.

Never ending puzzles
I’ve been playing this game for over five years now, and I still didn’t solve more than 60% of the puzzles. This is the best crossword app that I’ve encountered!
Crossword for people who don’t like to use their brains
How can you even call this a crossword when they actually GIVE you the letters to solve it. Ridiculous

Good but …
A little frustrating. When we moved into our new house something weird happened and I was unable to finish the grid! I was very close to finishing the whole thing! I had to sign up again thereby eliminating the grid I’d almost completed. That took well over 5 years to get as far as I did. I also find some of the clues erroneous. Or is it that culturally some clues are not familiar to Canadian culture? This is a wonderful way to do a crossword as I am visually impaired and these puzzles are easier to see than newspaper crosswords. Thank you!

Fun and Challenging
This is a great crossword game. Be aware that it is programed by a British company and every once in a while, there is a word that isn’t common in the US. At worst, it is annoying, and at best, it is a challenge. Fun and educational.
Need tokens to continue
The first week I had this app I loved it! Then puzzles started costing tokens you could only get from watching ads. Deleted the app because I didn’t want a game, I wanted simple word puzzles.

Cool game !
I’ve played many games until I become No. 1 or in first place then I move on . I’m 75 and I love the combination of things that come up in this game ! Challenging also great to play I’m just a beginner so far .
Bonus crossword challenge
I played this and was up to 4000 points. When I completed the challenge they took all of my points. Seems crooked to me. Scam app with way too many ads that you have to click 4 or 5 times to close.
Pretty Good
It’s good to pass the time but the coins needed to play a game is frustrating. I’d rather watch more ads and have plenty of coins to play as many puzzles as I want. Instead, I have to wait until the next day to get more coins.

I’ve had this app for 4 years now. Was great for a long time. Now, you can’t even go into a game and exit after a few seconds without being shown an advertisement. I feel like this app is here to make money off of me now. Too bad. I liked it for so long.

Tokens and ads
Please revert back to the old daily rewards where the player received more tokens, could really care less about the coins. Tokens are what helped progress this game much faster. I feel like I’m being fed too many dumb ads wherever I go in this game, whether it’s backing out to the menu or switching over to another section.... too many.

Lost my Fact of the Day streak after update
I had over 1700 days in my streak and I lost that when the app wouldn’t open. It works now but I’m bummed I lost my streak haha. 🤓
Crosswords
I was disappointed, all I wanted was crossword puzzles but when it comes to tokens and other stuff it takes all the fun out of it. I didn't understand it much. The puzzles are fine but the rest of it? Uh uh.
Too many ads and drains battery
The crosswords are great really, and I’ve used the app for years but I find now way too many ads that are heavy on complexity and video so the app drains the battery. Don’t leave it open when not using or your device battery will drain!
