40 Coins for Web Indexing!?
Popup literally asks you to enable web indexing for 40 coins “to use your free resources and IP address to download public web data”. This and all the ads made it an easy uninstall for me.
Evening Puzzles
I really enjoy playing the evening puzzles. It would be nice to have a whole game of those. can you please remove all those baking soda ads that keep coming up especially the ones with the filthy curse words in them that is really upsetting and there is no reason for it.
ad gimmick
I use this app daily but I am going to delete it since the ads are becoming a problem. While I understand there must be ads the issue is that when I press on the X to leave the ad many times the X is either so small or the X is set up to MAKE it open a page in my browser. I am sure companies are getting a kick back when this happens. This is not acceptable. We should not be subjected to this constantly.
No longer relaxing
I used to enjoy this app, but there are more and more pop ups for their special events in the middle of play, very annoying. Also, every time you start one of the daily crossword puzzles a message pops up stating that only a certain percentage of players have solved the puzzle fast enough to earn 3 stars. Big deal, why can’t we play just to unwind?

Ridiculous ads
Clicked an ad to claim reward and it said my device is hacked from porn sites and need to install software blah blah blah. SMH. Do better with your ads.
Decent Puzzles but…
I’ve used this app for over a year and have enjoyed the game play and different degrees of challenge. With that said the latest update has ads that cover the crossword and pop in and out. Very annoying
Keep it simple
There are so many games to play on this app it freezes. The ads are AI. Sorry but Oprah is not pushing baking soda and apple cider vinegar for weight loss. Fix the freezes!
Frustrated
I love playing this game but there are just too many ads. When I choose not interested on an advertisement for a game it just keeps popping up.

Wrong answer picture puzzle #2 on 8-26-26
“SE ASIA COUNTRY” your answer is “THAI”. Answer should be “Thailand”. Thai is the language or type of food. I believe there are other wrong answers, but I didn’t write them down.
Layout
I have looked all over for a place to provide feedback and can’t find it. So I’ll just put it here. I wish you could relocate the ‘stuff’ at the bottom of the screen where my hands hit it on accident when I don’t mean it to. I get annoyed by having letters pop up into my puzzle because I accidentally hit something I didn’t mean to. Can you put that ‘stuff’ at the top?

Format is fine but the puzzles themselves are terrible. Clues are way too easy and also uninteresting. You’re better off with your local newspaper

I’m cancelling this . Love the crosswords but way too many adds. It’s take me longer to watch and try to cancel the ads than it does to do the puzzles.
Ads are very disruptive
Game is great! The ads on top of crossword with no way to close them, repeated ads back to back, & some ads take your to download their app when you click the x to close out the ad after watching it for 2 minutes continuously are so frustrating it caused me to uninstall it after playing it for years.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well I did on this and the memories it brought from back in “the day”😉
Constant Adds
I used to enjoy this game. Now it has constant adds covering the crossword puzzle. Watching the occasional add to get points or at the end of a games was one thing. Now it’s constant with no reward.
Ads won’t load
I love this game! It keeps my brain occupied. Although to earn coins you need to watch video ads but they won’t load, meaning that you can’t progress on some parts.

I just want to play crosswords. I don’t need quests, goals, challenges, pop ups, and stuff. Uninstalled and finding a simpler crossword app

Add spaces are intrusive. the adds pop up every 5 seconds and block half of the puzzle. This was a very good app until lately. Uninstalling.

Finally a game that is a little challenging. I thoroughly enjoy this game and recommend it for anyone who wants to think.
Disappointed
The latest update now allows for an ad to appear over the top portion of the crossword puzzle thus rendering that portion unreadable. If clicked on repeatedly it disappears then reappears seconds later. Very disappointed that I will now have to uninstall this app as I have done this crossword religiously every day for several years.
Lost coins
I have played this game pretty much daily since 2022. I had over 7000 coins when I finally gave in and signed in with my face book I lost all those coins. I still have shows everything else, I tried signing out but they are gone. Can this be rectified?

Ridiculous amount of ads
This game used to be so much more fun, now they have ruined it with ad after ad after ad. You cannot play one round… NOT ONE ROUND without ads being shoved down your throat. They even found a way to become even more greedy by forcing ads on the screen as you are playing, blocking the board. They should be ashamed of themselves. They took a great fun game and ruined it. I just close it out every time and ad pops up, as a way to give them the middle finger as well as to send a message. Then I go back in.. BUT… this happens over and over and over again. They are the greediest of greedy losers.
Annoyed
I play this game daily but I am annoyed that the TEMU app is putting tags in my search engine and then 3 separate ones as well. I will be deleting this as I am sick of the TEMU add trickery
What happened?
I loved this game until….ads popping up on the screen preventing play. Interruptions to buy coins that I didn’t need. So done with this!

This is a fun game but the ads destroy the experience. I know there has to be some ads, but this is at another level. Unplayable.

Ads every 5 secs
Been playing this game a months. Now there are ads that cover most of the board every 5 secs. Deleting the app as it’s to annoying.
Goodbye personal data!
While the main game is riddled with micro transactions and ads my attention was turned to the privacy policies. To those reading this review I ask you this. Did you know if you play this game and unknowingly agree to the privacy policy you will willingly give your personal information to 185 different data collection companies?
Add Too Long and Often
I really enjoyed this game but the ads happen too frequently, are way too long and even when they end they take forever to clear the screen. This has spoiled the game for me!

What have you done?!
It’s almost impossible to play anymore with all the freaking ads popping up while playing. Stop this nonsense!!!!! It makes you look stupid, greedy, incompetent and with lack of knowledge and common sense.
Good but American
The app is very good, and the themes differ which is good also, however; it is American and so British people won’t always be able to get the clues. There are British ones in there too but the app is basically American clues. The clues do repeat themselves quite a bit from time to time, but overall, a fun and good app.
There are ads
Game was fun until they started showing ads. They promote no ads in their advertising but then put ads in the game.
Annoyingly long ads
It’s a good game but the super long ads make me only play when I can shut off wifi/cell data. Especially annoying is when the ad starts before the game. Limit ad length and the advertising would be more effective and more acceptable. *Update: I received copy-and-paste email from developers about how ads are necessary for game to be free (or I can buy ad-free version). Developers are missing my point, I can handle ads. But the length of these ads are insufferable. So I close the game and reopen to get around them. It takes less time than sitting through these unnecessarily long ads. Shorten the ads and make them more frequent if necessary, but the long ads just turn me off from your game.
