..please stop asking me to send a review every single time I open the app. Its extremely annoying, i already submitted once. I dont need to every time i want to simply check my balance
Online banking down
Been trying to check my account for over an hour and system is down. Heck of a time for a rating to pop up lol
Seriously?!?
Listen, if not for this one small thing, I would give the app 5 ⭐️. HOWEVER, I was trying to buy tickets to my favorite musical and tickets were selling out fast. I went to the app to move money around and it said there was an application error, and it couldn’t display my accounts at this time🤬🤬🤬?!? I ended up losing the tickets to someone else. PLEASE FIX THIS!!! Next time, I may be in an actual emergency where I’ll NEED to access my account.
Loading issues
The app will take so long to load when logging in it always times out and happens for hours between multiple attempts. It does it on my daughter’s account on a different phone, too.

I have been with First source bank for over 10 years. My experience with First Source has been phenomenal professionalism a great source of confidence. I would recommend for Source Bank without any hesitation whatsoever.
App not working
For over a week the app won’t load properly on sign in. Have to keep trying over and over. I’ve noticed my purchases with Apple Pay sometimes also has the wrote brand icon or reference next to the purchase , which makes it hard to distinguish purchases made.
Disappointing
Been broken for several weeks. Their app would stated it could not load widget on the home page. Tried to remove and reload the app from the App Store. No work. Called support and was told they would turn a ticket in. Finally seemed to start working without any notice. Still takes 40 seconds to load. The app is terrible.

Rating explanation
I enjoy convenience of the banking app. I absolutely love it. I check it at least once a day but I absolutely hate being asked every time I get on app to check my bank account how I’m enjoying the app. One time would be sufficient. That’s my frustration.
A little rough
The app certainly leaves something to be desired. It is not smooth and often has issues or is down/moves slow. The bank is very old school on how they do things from deposits to fees.
Drives me nuts
No change… been a few months. What’s the point of the (message) notification badge inside the app? It either shows a balance update which I clearly see when I open the app or shows a large withdraw which doesn’t actually show the transaction or link to the transaction or show how much the withdraw was, so what is the point? Then the orange color of the app is so close to the red notification color you almost can’t even see there’s a message so you close the app then an actual iOS badge notification is there that won’t go away until you open the app back up and touch the envelope to clear it.. so stupid.. can someone who designs this please change something to make it useful or get rid of it… please.

Daily overdraft fees, runaway!!!
I stopped all activity on this account due to moving out of state. Not once did they mention that there would be a daily overdraft fee. $7/day. F’n rediculous!!
Only I or wife can use app/card/online
Not a direct issue with the app. But anytime I get my account fixed, my wife's access is blocked. And vice versa
App not opening
I’ve used 1st source bank for a couple months now and nothing is wrong with the company at all, it’s a technical issue. For some reason twice now I’ve had to delete and reinstall the app because it wouldn’t open. When I tap on the icon I get sent back to Home Screen and it’s pretty annoying.
Great app
It’s very handy to have, it lets you know every time you use your card and if you misplace your card you can shut it off
Logining in
I’ve changed my old phone number to the current one I’m using and I’m still having issues. It won’t call me no matter how many times I presss it and it won’t give me the text option.
Poor quality app
The app needs improvement. It does not run well in iOS.

App sucks now that business accounts have been removed. Who wants two different apps for the same bank? You just took the convenience out of banking with you.
Recent update bugs V2025.05.00.01
After my app updated I cannot click the Zelle or transfer money section without it kicking me out of the app completely. I am not sure if it is for any other of the “Manage Money” sections or not. I have tried to restart my phone, close out the app and reopen it, and made sure my internet connection was good before I tried. Very very inconvenient. I hope this is fixed soon.
Hit or miss
App either works perfectly and allows you to use Face ID to login or it just flat out doesn’t work at all. It’s just really frustrating when it doesn’t work but it’s not all bad relatively easy to use otherwise.

Needs work
App is down a ton. Sometimes it delays when doing transfers between accounts so you can’t see your actual balance until the app decides to catch up. And sometimes it won’t allow you to cash checks and or see your accounts in general.

Memo line
I pretty much like everything about 1st Source, I just wish when I did a transaction online, it would have a line for a memo.
Okay but got worse in the last year
I hate that i have to load 30 days at a time. If im searching a specific expense I want to auto pull in all of it not each 30 days. It used to be better. I hope they utilize this feedback and improve their app. I’m a lifelong heavy app user for first source

Horrible
You’d think a banking app wouldn’t crash like more than half the month so you’re able to send money for bills and check balances on your account. This app crashes more than a junkie after a fix. Fix the app 1st source!!! I try to send rent and I look like trash to my landlord for not being able to send it due to your horrible app being down. How about do updates at 9pm on a weekend instead of 2pm on a Thursday!
