Great discounts for students
SPC+ is really helpful for students. The app is simple to use and there are discounts at a lot of popular stores and food places, not just random ones. I’ve already found some good deals, so it’s nice to save money on things I’d buy anyway. Getting it free with a student bank account is a big bonus too but one suggestion is dark mode appearance for app would be useful. Other than that it’s definitely worth it.
Literally a scam
An offer doesn’t work and when I contacted support, I got ghosted. Thank god Apple gave me a refund.
Good deals!
Using this card was not too beneficial to me because I didn't use it to much, but it does have potential. There is a large amount of deals that are amazing, but from my area there wasn’t much places for discounts on food sadly. I hope to see SPC with 500+ companies, especially with popular food brands. Make sure you got your money up before you get your funny up while having this or it won’t be worth getting it by that much, still saves anyone money though!
App won’t stay running
The download process was easy enough, but both the link and app won’t work. I created an account and added the store bought membership card, but now when I go into the app, it has a black screen and says, “too many requests at this time”.
Needs to be more brands
This app is a good app but I wish that they had more stores like Sephora, lululemon or even Nike there needs to be more brands.
SPC
Totally love it, so helpful and also very organized app!!
App just freezes when logging in
You cant even log in. Tried to log in with ios 26.4, everything doesnt work. Contacted support and they ghosted me. Terrible App, Terrible service, waste o money
So good but you will need a membership for some
I LOVE IT!!!😍(the only downside is that for some stores you need a membership)
Weird concept
I saw a store was offering this and I first thought to myself “oh heck yeah I’m a student this is great” so I took a picture to sign up later. Just to find out that you need to pay a membership fee in order to get the discounts?? So basically you aren’t saving anything unless you use it for lots of stores… just weird because broke students don’t want to pay a subscription to get a sliver discount off.
BOBA
Everything is nice EXCEPT THERE IS NO BOBA DISCOUNT PLEASE ADD A PROMO FOR BOBA
Always a good discount
Been using this card for more than a decade and they always have good discounts that also combine to sales. Also easy to renew/repurchase in the app via Apple Pay. Very satisfied with every experience!
Worst customer service ive ever seen
Had an issue activating my code and I went to dial each of the 3 options on the Support number and all of them just said "254 is unavailable" the beeped extremely loudly after ringing for 45 seconds Why have a customer support number if you're not actually gonna pick up the phone
Very good app
I get a discount on Taco Bell ✊it’s fire
Codes doesn’t work anymore
Codes used to work but now when you enter the code it says invalid code even if we put the right one.
Stores don’t support
When I went to use my card at my local Burger King and Manchu Wok place, they both told me that they don’t except the card. I wasn’t using the card with any promotion and I was clearly following the terms listed on the app. This means that the app is a fraud to students if the companies listed are not required to uphold the discount for the $11.99 I pay.
Great app
Great app
New update
What is this update it doesn’t even load anything
Good but could use more
I really like this and it gets me deals but I would love for more Canadian food places to be included. I also think that some of the online savings should be in store as well because for the majority of high school students, credit cards are not available and therefore defeat the purpose of a student spc card. Love the tim’s though, really good choice of a coffee shop :)
good idea bad execution
got this a few years ago when i started high school cause i thought it would apply to me but it wouldn’t accept my high school student id. everything was free though, all you had to do was add your id and you’d get all these deals but i deleted it cause i never used it. today, i just got it again, thinking and hoping it would work now especially since i’m almost in college but now, you’ve gotta pay for an $11.99 (CAD) membership to access any of the deals, plus add your student id which may not even work. done poorly and changed for the worst.
more brands
there aren’t many brands that i shop, sephora or lululemon would be nice since they can be a bit pricey.
Super good with coupons
This app is really neat I got it from my school Thsbks a lot SPC
app stopped working
it was working perfectly fine until today after it updated, now I just get a gray screen that says “Choose 3 or more of your favourite brands” but there arent any brands to pick and its stuck there forever, please fix this or revert the update
good not great,
For the price it’s good but they should’ve brought it back sooner
Rabais
Le rabais dont j’avais est non valide
Renew problems
So I renewed my membership but it asked me my membership ID and everything I don’t know what is my membership ID and everything it’s so complicated and I also have already paid it even sent me my bill and everything this so confusing
wont let me activate
bro like i keep tryna activate and it keep telling me its activated but then when i go to the card it tells me to activate it when i already did bruh its acc so annoying im getting mad can yall js let me activate the damn card i didnt spend money on this js to get scammed please bruh
Unable to download app without visa debit.
I’m a college student and I can’t seem to download the app. The app requires a payment method but when I hit continue it says the payment method is already entered and fails to download. My digital membership is completely inaccessible & I’ve already lost three months of deals trying to resolve the issue. I shouldn’t have to put in a payment method at all considering this app is aged 12 up.
Not useful for me unfortunately
I have had this app for about 5 months now. There hasn’t been any discounts worth it for me particularly. That’s not to say it’s not great for someone else. I gave a lower rating though because there was a sampler box that the app advertised. You then had to sign up for a sample account, give more personal information and then when I went to redeem… I wasn’t eligible. Pretty shady way to get someone to sign up for another account. I had SPC years ago and it was definitely worth it back then.
Great deals, slow app
Great deals but the app can be incredibly slow and the search function doesn’t always work.
10/10
I’m a new high school student and this is just so helpful
meh
I’ve had time for the SPC just doesn’t even work in stores which other people have also written about in other reviews, but it overall is annoying because these discounts are the reasons we even choose to go to those places in the first place. Also the app is really annoying because the updates always require you to re-download it again and it makes it so that you cannot use the previous version of the app. I’m tight on storage and this is just discriminating against.
So far so good!
I’m new to the app but I like what I see! I had an SPC Card back when I was in school as a kid, now I have gone back to school to become a nurse and realized I’m a student again and can use this! Excited for all the perks and having it in an app this time is great! (Don’t tell anyone but when I first had one, smart phones didn’t exist yet!)
Can’t log in
I opened this app, made an account, but it turns out I have to do a email verification. That’s all right with me, but when I press “send email verification” to my Gmail it does not appear in my mailbox AT ALL. Not even in my spam I literally checked everywhere. I pressed “resend verification” and it’s STILL not in my gmail. Can’t even log on and get the rewards bruhh…
