This app is so bad I had to take the time to write this review to just add my complaint. Our bank merged or “changed” their name and are utilizing this app now and it’s terrible. It has been an issue with logging in since I got it
Not happy
Before bank changed from Northshore I was want charged fees when my debit didn’t have enough money for a purchase and this new bank took fees back to back for just trying and it’s not right .
Website not working
Every time I try to sign in it says I’m giving the wrong password. Then I asked to be emailed to reset a password and it won’t even do that not liking the merge so far I’ve had trouble every single day trying to get on this bank account then I have to make a phone call and sit on hold for 20 minutes or more.
Nothing new
App has absolutely no feature updates except that it is a longer login process security checkpoints, making the access slower. To create this app they turned off digital access for almost three days, leaving customers with no way to access accounts digitally or via telephone. This bank is more concerned with changing its name than caring about the customer.
Very sketchy
App is constantly down, barely works literally ever. And there’s always maintenance on the weekends, and of course they don’t have support on the weekends either. Constant fees, will stop transactions for absolutely no reason. Can’t reverse them and automatically shuts off card with no communication. Tried talking to support and felt like I was talking to a scam artist asking more and more personal questions. Changing banks, you should too
Fix The App!
Lately, all I can expect is “Spinning” to try to access my account in this App! Not a good sign for a bank when someone wants to check on their personal balance.
Worst bank
When and if the app is working it’s slow and outdated. Please update this app and show that you guys actually care
It’s giving…. “I need a new bank”
I don’t understand why accessing the app and my account keeps becoming an issue because of “maintenance.” I can understand short outages for a few hours, but two days and a half is excessive. Right now, I can’t even use the TruNorth Bank ATM to transfer money into my checking account because of this. It’s a great bank, but we’re in a time where digital access is essential. If the app is going to be unavailable this often, it defeats the purpose of having it at all. There needs to be a more reliable system in place so customers can access their accounts when they need to.
Has Not Worked Once
When I used the app as a North Shore Bank customer it worked great. Ever since my bank became TruNorth, this app has never worked on my iPhone. It alway says I either have no network connection or that the site is down for maintenance - which is not true because I can login via the website on my PC or via any browser on my phone - just not the app.
Not sturdy
Many times I try to sign in it comes up with an error. It may take 4-5 trys to log in.
