Outdated
This app is extremely outdated. You can’t even schedule a future payment on your mortgage. It only allows you to schedule payments for the same day. Unbelievable
Please let us know up front that the app adds the decimal

Can’t clear beware scam
I’m trying to login and this “beware of scam” takes up the whole page and there’s no exit/clear button. I tried closing app but still there. Not even deleting the app work.

Difficulty login
Long time on call getting to log in
Can’t access log in screen due to pop up notice
Today when I tried to use the Salem 5 app a pop up notice regarding “beware of scams” appeared. This is the same information I received via email from Salem 5 this week. I appreciate the information but I can’t access the login screen on the app, there is no way to “exit” the pop up or close it out. I closed out the app and restarted it a couple times but the pop up notice remains and I can’t exit it so I can’t access my account. I guess I’ll have to use a desktop browser now to access my account.

I have trusted this bank over the course of five years and it has made so much of my life more simple. I get the answers and help I need every time I reach out to them .
Place sucks
The bank refused to let me withdraw funds from my account. Treated me like a criminal.
They randomly make you change your password
Bank is fine but the app is Meh. No warning when password is due. If you’re using a mobile device and need to check your account, the last thing you want is to be locked out until you choose a new password. Recently had an issue where the app would not allow me to change my email address. Had to call support and wait half morning till that was resolved🙁
Good people at branch
I always get great service from the people at the new Burlington branch.
Terrible app
In this day and age of digital technology customers trying to make payments on loans to the principle using the online app cannot do this. Such a lousy setup, whoever is in charge of developing the functionality of the app should be removed due to incompetence. Other bank apps allow for extra payments and principle payments but not this one.
Please fix the Salem Five App!
I see no way to print Statements from the App. If I pull up a Statement on my phone from the App I see no Share Sheet option as I do with my PNC Bank App, and with all my credit card Apps. And Salem Five pushes people to opt out of mailed statements so it seems nothing less than dumb to not assure their customers can easily print their own statements. So frustrating. It’s just generally not a user friendly App.

NEEDS MODERN AUTH
By not offering OTP or passkey auth solutions, Salem Five is putting the entirety of its customers' assets at risk. Text/email codes are obsolete and prone to exploit. Every customer dollar deposited to Salem Five is objectively less secure than one deposited at another bank that uses modern auth built by actual grownups. While we're on it, successfully answering the text code challenge on login is supposed to LOG THE CUSTOMER IN, NOT REQUIRE PASSWORD RE-ENTRY. It is 2026, please treat your customers accordingly.

This app is absolutely garbage in today’s technology world. It works less than 50% of the time. Continually freezes and requires constant restarts of iphone a real detriment to having an account

Please fix your bugs
It feels like too frequently when I try to open the app, it doesnt work. This morning been trying to check my balance and there is a notice saying "app will be down saturday 22nd ..." but i cannot get into the app today, Friday, because the notice wont go away. This is not the first time something like this has happened and its very frustrating.

Bill Pay Stopped Working
Banking app was ok until they upgraded online bill pay app, which broke online bill pay. They seem to have no idea how to fix it and told me to mail paper checks instead.
