Has a lot to improve and it feels like it’s worth buying it .
And I brought it , I pray this app replaces my old Xodo app which asks for payment for adding one page .
It’s lacking the very basic feature THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE.
You can have all the pretty pens , tapes , colours and stickers but what’s the point when your notes don’t even backup or synchronise? The auto backup almost never works and manual backup creates a few file in your google drive each time taking up excessive space. I really miss how in goodnotes the notebooks and folders would be backed up as pdfs that would constantly get updated WITHIN the same pdf as you write in the notebook. I feel like other fancy updates and features are useless without a proper sync and backup feature. And I can’t find any app that does it as well as goodnotes. I regret my premium purchase now as a student we can’t afford to buy apps and then not use them honestly extremely sad and disappointed. I will go back to my pen and paper notes at least then I’ll be sure I won’t loose them 😭
Wonderful so far!
I really appreciate how feature packed it is and it’s so affordable, I have been recommending it to everyone I know because of this. I can’t wait for the future updates to be added. Would love to be able to zoom more than 1600% though, and maybe more eraser modes? Like one that erases more precise things, like how physical erasers work, just like a few nitpicks but I love the direction of the app so far, it’s so useful for classes and just personal notes for myself.
No sync function. don’t buy this for now
this app has good funtions. But it does not sync your notes with other devices. I bought this app and have waited for months. but no improvement. Don’t buy this for now

Best digital notebook app
I downloaded other digital notebook apps but did not enjoy the layouts or the cost of the premium features. When I downloaded starnote, I had an extremely easy time navigating my way around the app. Everything just made sense, even before I read the tutorial notebook. I think I had this app for 20 minutes until I decided to pay for the premium version. I only paid because I wanted to support whoever created this app. I’m in college so I hope to god nothing happens to this app for the next 4 years. I love this app.
Regarding pro
I bought the app few months back ,made notes on it didnot use it for while it deleted all my notes and show me as normal user not as pro user even after paying .....and there is no way to restore purchase so beware before purchasing this
Add “Search Within Document” Feature
Great app overall with a clean interface and useful features. The only thing missing is a search within documents feature. It would make finding notes much faster, especially in long documents. Please add this in a future update!
Issue in app
I’m loosing data on my notes. I created 60+ page notes and lost almost 40+pages data. The data lost are the images of my lectures added to those pages. I can only view whatever I’ve handwritten everything else is invisible. Kindly look into this.
Failing to purchase the pro version
I've tried to purchase the starnote pro version with my giftcard balance left in my apple id. but each time it's failing to complete the purchase. Please help me to fix this.
Apple Pencil works great
Fantastic app. Love the compatibility with my Apple Pencil
Me cobraron 2 veces Lifetime Pro
Needs this features
Add support for Apple Pencil Pro,like hover(makes writing that much better),squeeze and all, rest very feature rich app And can you make a roadmap on your websites ,like features requested,in progress, won’t implement and implemented. Thank you so much
Best of best available note taking app.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Truly Promising Note-Taking App — Thank You, StarNote Team! As a Pro user, I genuinely want to thank the StarNote team for creating such an amazing note-taking app. Being a relatively new app, StarNote has already impressed me with how much thought and effort has gone into it. What I especially love is the affordable pricing and one-time purchase model. In a world where almost every useful app is moving toward expensive subscriptions, offering a one-time option is something I truly appreciate as a student. It makes the app accessible and shows that the developers genuinely care about their users. Honestly, StarNote feels like a new competitor that can seriously challenge even well-established apps like Goodnotes. Goodnotes has been in the industry for years, but StarNote is proving that a newer app can bring fresh ideas, a clean experience, and features that can compete with — and in some areas even surpass — established note-taking apps. 🚀 One feature I would LOVE to see I think StarNote could become an incredible all-in-one study and reading application if it developed its own advanced Select & Speak / Read Aloud engine. Imagine being able to open an ebook or PDF and have StarNote: * 📖 Read the text naturally * 🟡 Highlight the exact word currently being spoken * 🟢 Highlight the entire sentence while it is being read * 🎙️ Allow users to choose different voices/characters * 🎚️ Customize pitch, speed, tone and voice style * 📚 Work directly with PDFs and ebooks without needing another app This would be a HUGE addition for students and people who read a lot. It would make StarNote not just a note-taking app, but a complete study, reading and learning environment. 📁 Another feature that would make it even more powerful I would also love to see a fully customizable personal resource/folder system. For example, users could create folders exactly the way they want and store anything inside them — images, PDFs, study materials, screenshots, references, diagrams, etc. Giving users maximum freedom to organize their own materials would make StarNote feel like a truly personal digital workspace, rather than just another note-taking app. Most importantly, please continue listening to your users and experimenting with new ideas. You have already built something that can compete with the established names in this industry, and I honestly believe StarNote has the potential to become one of the best note-taking and study apps available. Thank you to the entire StarNote team for taking the initiative to build something new, keeping it affordable, and giving students like me such a powerful tool. I’m genuinely excited to see where StarNote goes next. ❤️ Keep building, keep improving, and please never lose the spirit that made you create StarNote in the first place. Thank you, StarNote Team! 🙏❤️ — A happy StarNote Pro user

Need this feature
Please add the feature to copy pages from one notebook to another Currently, we are only able to copy and paste a page within the same notebook so I can’t see why we this feature is not available for all books This feature will really be useful for me as a student who has to constantly keep updating my notes
Feature improvements
Dear StarNote Team 1.Add also folder export 2.change folder icon like GoodNotes 3.Add collapseble sticky note like Samsung notes,GoodNotes,Notewise etc These are the most use full function for a daily life for a student.
Sync feature
All features are good . But I would appreciate if you bring sync multi device features between android and ios too
Starnote is rising in the game!
So far, I love Starnote. The devs care about their community and they’re always adding new features that people request. They’re always looking for new ways to improve their app. The UI design is gorgeous and they even have different backgrounds! In addition, the writing is so smooth. Starnote’s is completely underrated and they deserve more lifetime users! The subscription is a one time fee, which is better than other note-taking apps. They update the community on what they plan to do for future updates. The starnotes team is very lovely. Everyone should try out their app! You won’t have any regrets :’)
Search function is horrible
Misses words which are clearly detected by other note apps like Freenotes, Notability, or Goodnotes
i love this app - but harder to work around with cloud storage
I use this app for sheep music, since i needed one that was more convenient than the default. I wanted a free one that i could use but they all sucked. I Stumbled across this app that was the first like 10 notes free and that was perfect for me at the time! As i began to use the app more i fell more in love with it. This led me to buying the pro. With this it was only like $5 for a lifetime subscription. Thats what stood out it function like the expensve apps and does something better but is soo cheep! You really get a good bang for your buck!!!!! The only issue is the cloud storage. it has it but it connects to like Google Drive. So essentially it’s not cloud storage it doesn’t automatically update from my iPad to my iPhone. If i want it to i have to download the back up form Google Drive which take like less than a minuet! Other than that this app is great!
Nice
Would be able to use it if it could sync.
Affordable and feature-packed
Found this on XHS/Rednote by complete accident and it has everything I need out of a notes app. I’ve tried (and paid) for so many different notes apps, but StarNote is probably the best bang for your buck when it comes to just traditional notes. It’s affordable and doesn’t have a subscription which is a huuuuge plus, and you still get a lot of free notebooks even without paying (but I highly recommend the premium). The UX is great and the custom gestures and shortcuts are super convenient. Looking forward to seeing how the app develops!

Sync between iphone and ipad
Iphone and ipad cannot sync
OUTSTANDING app but no widgets :(
Paid for the premium version because it’s THAT good. Intuitive and easy to use, many great features - basically as good as GN. Plenty of templates, writing tools, page options, I like that when you zoom in the brush size adapts, I love that there’s layers so I can tap to hide my writing for practicing, etc! It’s a fantastic app. I just hope the developers can add widgets and shortcuts to our most used notes. I have a digital journal I access multiple times a day and I wish I could more easily do so. Other than that, it’s a flawless app and I am happy to support the developers for a lifetime subscription that’s so cheap ($6), I’d pay a lot more than that for this amazing app.
Good app but they don’t want to give us an option for “fit to page”
I want to be able to zoom out and the maximum zoom out is 100%. However currently it zooms way way out. I’ve asked and they brush me off so I no longer use the app despite buying premium.
Great App
Handwriting is amazing, app has a ton of features but as an educator, it would be nice to have a presentation mode where it hides the app ui when we screen share. One where you can zoom in and your audience still sees the zooms it would just hide the tools and would just show the pdf/presentation.
Sync
Does this app sync between multiple iPads and iPhone? Can't seem to see how that works.
About the app
I like the app and the features in it and the way u can customize the theme and the types of pens it’s cool and i like the price too it’s good price to student 💯🚣🏻♀️ guys add me in ig @e_m3m

Great app but underrated
I got to know about this app from an android user and since that time I got the pro. But yes I would love if you add more pens like a lot like the last app i used, and flashcards making option. I would love if you add more planners and stuff. Anyway I love the app, great job.

I initially put a review here, discussing about the issue for presentation monitor (i.e., for teachers who are teaching and writing notes in class). However, the review was deleted/not shown.
