Stop keeping top sites in homepage
It’s a great app I just don’t like how there’s not an option to turn off your most recent sites from popping up in every new tab. I get it’s convenient for some people but for some ots annoying. Going back to regular safari /google
Love Comet, need Kagi
Comet is fantastic on iOS and I’d love to make it my full‑time browser. Please add support for Kagi or custom search engines as the default search provider, similar to Safari’s search engine setting.
Pales to desktop version
I use Comet on macOS as my default browser. On iOS it’s a pale comparison. For example, getting to spaces or projects is practically impossible. A user is better off going to the perplexity website in Safari on iOS than downloading this.
A promising browser, but with bugs
Hey, perplexity, thank you for your work. You made a nice product. But it could be better. For example: address/link bar on iphone app - when I try to refill it with the new link and I already started typing it passes the old one just in the middle of the new link . Also doesn’t work a button “search the web” with selected text. And your browser is a way slower, then safari. In the basic scripts. Nevertheless, I use comet and hope that soon it will be as fast and cool as safari.
Very strong. Except 4 YouTube
Great for blocking ads/tracking, very good Chrome compatibility 4 plugins (Open Source), Great Perplexity integration, annoying issue where some videos (e.g., YouTube) won’t play. C&P url into another browser work around works for now…
Feedback
I am perplexity pro user and I am trustrated with comet on IOS. Despite paying for PRO, I don’t have access to spaces or full deep research on my iPhone even though these are core features in the main perplexity app. This forces me to constantly switch back to the perplexity app, defeating the purpose of using comet as an all in one browser If I am paying for PRO, I expect feature parity - or least clear communication about what’s missing and when it’s coming On top of that, Russian voice input has completely broken. It worked right after installation but it some point stopped and now it only recognise English
useful feature
Very useful features like summarize, multi LLM support etc. But freezes often with voice chat etc

It gets 3 stars cuz I can’t continue the chat in Perplexity. I’ve also sent a few support tickets to them in the past about a few things, but I don’t have time to do it for everything.

Password manager and autofill don’t work on iOS
Password manager and autofill don’t work on iOS. On other device Windows/macOS it’s OK. I try resync, create new chain, retape sync switches - useless. And I can’t redact my passwords on iOS Comet Browser. I use Apple Password Manager with Comet because this problem.
No option to bookmark page on iPad version
No option to bookmark page on iPad. Unbelievable. Prompted Comet for solution and it could not find solution either. Otherwise, product seems to work. Please implement this basic feature..

Incredible AI browser
Comet is a massive upgrade from Google Chrome. The Perplexity AI integration is perfect and the voice mode works beautifully. It runs smoothly on Chromium and makes everyday browsing feel truly intelligent. Highly recommended for everyone.
I see no difference between this and any other browser
After three months of using this as my main browser, I still don’t understand the purpose of it. The team that developed this browser has done a lousy job showing regular people the purpose of an AI integrated browser.

I see all these great ratings. There are sooo many things about this I don’t like and don’t work! I don’t have the time to thumb enter them here. Use at your own frustrating risk. You’ve been warned!
Incognito hard to read
The browser itself is solid and very easy to use. However, when using assistant in incognito mode, the text written by the AI is very hard to read. It’s dark green and has a very bad contrast. I have tried forcing my appearance to be light and checked other settings but nothing helps. I would appreciate if this could be addressed. Thank you.

1. If you offer Google as an option to be the main search engine, don’t auto switch my queries back to perplexity. It has been so trusted because I want to search with Google but I get a chat instead. 2. How’d you fumble the incognito coloring hahaha. It’s almost perfect. But not quite there yet
It’s good but……
Whenever I reuse an already used tab to visit a different website it randomly erases all my typing and pastes the old website link on top of it. I have to clear everything and start typing the new website all over. PLZ FIX. Also, I chose NOT to use Perplexity as my main search engine. IF I WANT TO ASK PERPLEXITY, I WILL PRESS PERPLEXITY WITH THE BUTTON.
I like
I like however, not very intuitive, the go or cancel button is in a weird spot , no options to close all tabs, no option to auto clear, using the clear history option to close tabs does not work, dl folder should be easy to access from main screen and when you find it... brings me to my folder section?
Best browser
No matter what your OS is, this is hands-down the best browser I ever used. I wish that I could afford the computer. Which is like the ultimate AI. I feel like the results would be life-changing. No matter what though this browser is amazing.
Only blocks crackers that aren’t theirs also privacy features suck.
The ad advertise about blocking crackers, but they only block trackers and ads that aren’t their trackers and ads. Also when you delete search history and cookies and tabs. It says they’re gone and then when you check for the next five minutes, it says they’re gone, but then you’ll come back next day and they’ll be back it says I deleted them, but it doesn’t. It shows they’re gone and then it comes back a day later or 10 minutes later it’s very glitchy. and it constantly takes you to scam websites instead of the legit version. also not a fan of the fact that you can’t add extensions like the desktop version.
Game changer
Comet has the potential to redefine the way we browse and get stuff done online. It’s not perfect yet, but if you can find the right use case to try out the automated browser function (perhaps having it fill in a simple web form or check dates related to an online booking system) you’ll continue to use it and see the benefits. Well done Perplexity - to have something like this available on a phone is amazing!
Disconnects
I always disconnects from the browsing and I have to use alternatives. Not a great experience yet! Maybe I will change my mind if that’s fixed! Great concept
Bug
There has to be a way to simply search (google) without triggering perplexity. It’s polluting perplexity history with searches that it doesn’t even show. Makes no sense!

A mid browser tied into a terrible LLM.
Upload a selfie and ask it to put various eyeglass frames on my own face. All it can do is spam AI slop “photos” of some other face, and the eyeglass frames never change. Just different fake faces. If it can’t do something this basic, how can you trust ANYTHING else that it reports back to you? Don’t! Find another LLM to use and purchase.
Good, but a few QoL improvements please
The app generally is fine as a browser; just please add support for swipe gestures and more gestures in general like Safari, as this is one of the main reasons I only use Safari for browsing on my iPhone, it's fast to get around and navigate. For example swiping up on the address bar will bring me to my tabs.
No search suggestions
I’m not getting any suggestions when I search something on Comet. It says “something went wrong”.
Freezes
On my ipad, when I stay too long in a research, the app freezes and I have to restart it.
Didn't realized I liked A.I
I searched up the best new browsers and found comet by accident. I instantly enjoyed the aesthetic of everything when I opened it up and I started using the A.I assistant and was like "yo.... Ive needed A.I all along." It makes everything flow seemlessly. I would be willing to bet that if most people give this browser a try they would feel the same. Definitely worth the download.
Erratic and always signing me out of my accounts
Initially I liked Perplexity so I thought Comet would be a good adjunct. However, it's actually worthless. At best it act similar to perplexity AI, but as an Internet search engine or whatever it's supposed to do, it's worthless. Basically it instructs me to sign into Google or DuckDuckGo to complete a traditional search. When I quiz it on what benefits I get, that it seems to perform just like Perplexity, it struggles to come up with an answer. Also, it constantly signs me out out of the app times has simply not function correctly. I wish I hadn't paid for a year in advance, I definitely will not renew.
Please move cancel button
The app is fantastic, I love it. The cancel button is where sending a message is. I type a full question for comet, hit send and ooops nope I deleted it and just give up.
App crashes during Google sign-up and resets onboarding
I encountered an issue while trying to sign up using Google. After entering my email and password, the app requested device access for Google and sent a permission email. I approved the request, but when I returned to the app, it crashed and closed, taking me back to the home screen. When I reopened the app, it restarted from the beginning of the onboarding flow (splash screen → sign-up), instead of continuing the login process. This issue prevents successful account creation and makes the onboarding experience frustrating. Please look into this.

there’s this feature on opera GX called flow where you can send and retrieve files from your mobile device or other computers with Opera GX installed it’s really handy and quick
Terrible interface
This is a terrible interface. Nothing can be found easily at all. Confusing and frustrating!
Good browser with room for improvement.
I’m liking the browser and the integration of the AI assistant. It would be nice if there was an easier method to access bookmarks when a new tab is opened. Preferably letting the user choose the folder that appears.
Feels vibe-coded
Needs so much work. Bookmark access, new tab page, search (define clear gap between perplexity and Gemini), easy access to temp search (I don’t want a perplexity thread when searching for a bloody restaurant). At this point, copy Chrome and Vivaldi. The desktop version is great, how did you **** this up so badly? The iPad version is literally embarrassing. You should be ashamed.

Great first impression
Would be good to be able to swipe up to access tabs instead of a separate tabs button. Also incorporation of a vpn would be ideal but not a must.
Glitchy
You have taken lot of time to make this browser, but it is still glitchy and the animations are not that smooth. There are also delays when you tap on something. And like Safari there should also be an option to swipe up from the tab bar and you can see your other tabs. Additionally I couldn't find any option to go to the download section. When I tap on it, it took me to the files application on my device but I want a separate download section inside the browser. Basically It feels like a cheap browser so you must fix it.
Add gestures.
As someone who’s used safari and arc browser. Swiping up to see all tabs and being able to quickly swipe away tabs feels like common place. Love the ai features and syncing to desktop. Just wish it was easier to navigate.
