Best cookie app I’ve ever used
Even with some of the best pop-up blockers, cookie notices still come through. After installing this application and trying it for a few months, I do not recall seeing a cookie notice since then. The developer of this application appears to have been publishing this since around 2021. The developer keeps it updated regularly. I would highly recommend this application if you get bogged down with cookie notices when browsing the web on your phone.

Modernized with a new interface but I can’t find how to change my cookie preferences. There was an initial choice and then I can’t find the choices anywhere again. Also the choices you make are not clear enough. It’s just on/off toggles but no explanation what on and off mean - on for keeping the cookies or on for discarding them and vice versa for the off option.

A Premium Subscription for Clicking “Reject All”
I stopped using Super Agent after realizing that its primary function is charging money to automate something I can already accomplish for free. Before anything else, the developers should probably inspect their automated “developer response” system. After the first few pages of recent reviews, it appears to start attaching responses to reviews they plainly do not correspond to. Nothing inspires confidence in a premium technology product quite like watching its own automated customer-response system lose track of who it is talking to. The app itself technically works. That is about the highest praise I can give it. Super Agent is essentially the archetypal subscription-era product: identify a minor annoyance, package a convenience layer around tools and protections users already have, imply that the situation is scarier and more technically complicated than it really is, and then charge people repeatedly for the privilege. Its ideal customer appears to be someone who is uncomfortable opening Safari settings, unwilling to Google “free cookie blocker Apple,” and sufficiently concerned by words like “malware,” “tracking,” and “privacy” that paying a subscription feels safer than learning what the software actually does. There is also an amusing amount of “trust us” involved for a product marketed around privacy. I’m paraphrasing the developers’ responses here, but when users raise concerns about Safari reporting that the extension can access webpage contents, the answer seems to be essentially: Apple uses scary generic wording, we don’t actually read your pages, everything happens locally, we don’t keep logs, and we don’t collect that information. Okay. Maybe all of that is completely true. The problem is that, as an ordinary user, basically none of those assurances are independently inspectable. I cannot look inside the extension and verify that it never reads anything beyond what it needs, never transmits anything unexpected, and never retains logs. So the privacy argument eventually bottoms out at: grant the extension broad access and trust the company when it tells you that the broad access is being used very responsibly. That is not evidence that the developers are secretly harvesting data. It is a reason to find the marketing posture a little funny. “Install our privacy product, grant it access to webpages, and trust our assurances about what happens afterward” is not quite the slam-dunk privacy proposition they seem to think it is. Super Agent is not standing heroically between your iPhone and the cybercriminal underworld. Safari and iOS are doing the serious security and privacy work. This app is mostly dealing with consent prompts and browser annoyances. Charging a recurring premium for that is like selling someone a subscription service that presses the “close door” button on their elevator. Then there is the lifetime purchase. The sales pitch appears to be that, given enough years of paying the expensive subscription, eventually the expensive lifetime purchase starts looking reasonable. This is a fascinating pricing strategy because the strongest argument for one overpriced option is apparently the existence of another overpriced option. It works. So does clicking “reject all.” I eventually chose the cheaper technology.
Useful
This is one of a few Safari extensions I’ve installed* to sweeten life when browsing. It works most of the time, silently and behind the scenes. Occasionally, pop-ups appear for a second or so, before being actioned automatically by SAfS. It’s not perfect but I’ve found it near enough to be worth the lifetime subscription.
Almost never works
Title sums it up. Works for like a week to make you think it’s worth something but then stops working entirely. Reinstalling helps for maybe a day or two but just long enough for you to think it’s fixed. I also keep seeing the passwords and payments getting cached or accessed by this so I think I’ll uninstall & leave my sub active until 2027 since I already bought a year and maybe in time it’ll be fixed and not so sketchy
Bought a license on one side, macOS side lacking restore purchace
App understandably has a subscription, and will tell you about it from time to time in a new tab. I paid, but then this app still opens a new tab, and acts as if it is unpurchaced. Most apps have a restore purchaces app for this situation but this one lacks it.

Leider ist es doch so das auf sehr viele Seiten nichts passiert und man selbst klicken muss! Seiten die man melden will sind schwer zu erfassen! Umständlich! Bin damit für das Iphone nicht wirklich zufrieden! Am Computer funktioniert es besser aber dauert auch mal lange bis es selbst tut was es soll!

Not worth it unless you pay for it
Normally when apps are listed as “free” but with in-app purchases, there is some functionality without having to pay. This app only works if you pay for it. Otherwise it’s useless. This is false and misleading. The app should have some basic abilities or functions with improved or more abilities when paid; thus allowing a consumer to see what they are missing by having the lowest tier of service. This app’s lowest tier is no service with a side of repeated and insistent requests to pay for minimal levels of functionality.

Banners are smarter; Super Agent hasn’t caught up
Most of the good reviews of this Safari extension appear to be from long ago. I suspect that websites are now more clever about how they push their cookie banners, and Super Agent is now less effective. At this point I think it’s more effective to regularly clear your cache than have yet another extension that can read every single site you visit. UPDATE: Okay, so … the alternatives are worse. Bumping up my rating, and I’m going back to using Super Agent.
Doesn’t work as well now
When I downloaded this a year ago, it was great, and I hardly received any cookie requests. However, for the past few months, it seems to have stopped working. I have cookie requests on almost every website now, so it’s not doing its job. It must be due to updates, as I haven't changed any settings, and it’s listed in my Safari extensions. It’s a shame as it used to work very well, but it’s now useless. I’m looking for an alternative.
Splash Page Needs to Go
The developer has made a decent product, however at every turn — you’re presented with a splash screen about the app. I find it shows up a few times per month across my devices. Developers solution • Make an account • Then once you’ve signed in • Select “Reject” for update notifications • … except “surprise” they still come anyway even after setting this all up. Full stop: DISABLE THE SPLASH SCREEN.
Worst developer I have ever seen based on subscription
I have reviewed a lot of apps over the years since I’ve been on Apple and on iCloud since the early 2000s I’ve downloaded free apps and have paid for very little apps and try to always do the free trials. I’m tired of these apps and Apple not returning my money when I accidentally click on something and they charge me for it and won’t let me get a refund at all even if I do it the same day or forget to do it about my mental health disorder. That makes me forget things from time to time for months on end and weeks on end That they don’t even do it the retail way and put it on a goddamn receipt and shove it in our face or even explain it to us. This is not the first and only app and subscription service that I didn’t like and didn’t want and didn’t get a refund for. I don’t agree with any of these developers forming these goddamn policies or doing any of this stuff at all and I think customers need to start reviewing these apps, harshly reviewing them and that’s why I gave you a one. I hate your app so muchfor everything.
Not anything like it’s advertised
This App is a scam. I got a month free and cancelled the subscription the following day. I was still charged $32.20 and I couldn’t access my AppStore or ANY apps I downloaded unless I paid them the money. It’s like ransom ware that you get on Apples App Store. It doesn’t do anything that your iPhones don’t already do!!! DO NOT BUY!!!!

Stürzt leider in der aktuellen Version direkt nach dem Start ab, keine Konfiguration möglich. Auch nach der Neuinstallation kein Unterschied, weiterhin stürzt die App ab. Problem melden hier auf der AppStore Seite führt zu einer Webseite, auf der nur der Hinweis erscheint „Seite nicht gefunden“. Sehr Schade, habe für die Lifetime Lizenz bezahlt und jetzt nichts, kann die nicht benutzen. Kann mir jemand helfen?

Browsing info sent to their server
From my understanding, the app sends the url you are visiting to their server to find out which blocking rule to apply. They said that they don’t store logs on their server, which is good, but still, I would prefer everything happening on my device and none of my browsing information sent to them.

Works Well
The only complaint I have is you only get to use this 7 times a week. So I had to delete it. That doesn’t last very long if you’re web browsing. Other than that it’s a good app. I recommend it for anyone who wants to browse 7 different websites a week.
Bugged beyond use
I loved this app. Did exactly what I wanted - stayed in the background and dealt with all those irritating cookie pop ups. Simple and effective....until A recent update has broken this app. It stops working and you're back to the bad old days of repeatedly dealing with cookie prefs manually. There is a work around but I've found this needs to be done for every session. Really disappointed with the drop in performance rendering this app redundant.

This extension blocks almost all of those annoying GDPR and other cookie pop-ups, while selectively allowing the ones that are actually useful, without prompting or bothering me about it.
Doesn’t work AVOID
Paid for the annual subscription, followed every instruction to the letter, every site i tested that generates a cookie request confirmation continued unabated. This app literally does nothing. And no, I’m not looking for a Dev response either, just clipped the sub and moved on with my life. Just felt i should share the experience.

Sign up for the app, ok. Sends code via email, go back to the app after getting email code and has been deleted, so you sign up again and its claims you have already signed up, ok so sign in and it sends another code that doesn’t work. So I'm unable to sign in

While this extension does remove some cookie consent dialogs it fails to remove them on a significant number of websites. When comparing this to the duck duck go browser it's not as effective. I'm also not convinced this extension doesn't slow down the browsing experience, causing pages to take slightly longer to load.

After installing and trying to provide permission for this app to be used in Safari, a pop up warned me that giving permission would allow this app to see passwords and credit card information on websites I use. Forget about cookies being used for targeting marketing and reselling my information for things I am interested in; this app is screaming: don’t worry about cookies, we’ll steal your passwords and credit card information instead.

Edit: up from 2* to 4* review. Here’s why. I sent in my feedback constructively and the dev fully heard where I’m coming from, and I can also sympathise with them in that while server load is low - they do have a lot of server traffic. Most server traffic is in fact from their users on the free desktop version. Further, he found the subscription problem concerning and asked for more info. I am pleased to report that I haven’t come across this error once since. He clarified that 95% of the negative reviews here are in no way constructive, and rather just complaining about having to pay. Developers have to eat too (I’m a dev also!) There is in fact a lot that goes into these, it gets very complex. Lastly, I was told about technological and AI innovations that they are planning to be launched in the next few weeks, these should hugely improve the app. Hopefully other users will take all of this into account, because whining benefits nobody.. have something constructive to say and you might get somewhere Have had this for over a year now. Maybe even 2. Whenever it was released as I was an early adopter. I paid fully upfront for lifetime. It was brilliant at first. 2024… They’ve gone the money-grabbing route with the subscription model. “You’ll own nothing and be happy” ~ said no one ever. That said, fantastic app - when it works that is.. more than a few websites it just doesn’t work on, I’d say it works 65% of the time. The worst part is that. Time and time again, every week or so it completely stops working and those pestering cookie pop ups are back. I then check the app and it wants me to choose a plan and upgrade, saying I’m on the ‘free’ plan.. then I have to press ‘restore purchase’ and it works again. For a short time. Back to square one. Never seen this in any app and it’s really bothering me now, surely this can be fixed? It’s not all terrible. I like how lightweight the app is and it is nicely designed. Most of all they have a very good privacy policy and practice. I’m hoping they’ll see this and reflect. Please think about how you treat your real customers, especially the ones who were here from the beginning and massively helped you grow to where you are today. I can see from these reviews that we’ve been telling you for a while. This is how many successful businesses go bust - by ignoring customers for a long enough time. This app isn’t a costly one to run, it’s not like we’re using a lot of server space for example. Feel free to reach out to me to discuss 👍

I didn’t mind paying when this worked. Fair enough, you’re never going to block everything, but it covered 95% of websites. Now, on a good day, it maybe blocks 30%. If anything it seems to be getting worse each month, not better.
