I was logged out for inactivity and now that same message appears anytime I log in. Same on website. Same on every web browser I try. "You were logged out for inactivity".... And now I can never log in ever again. Fire your digital experience team. And whoever greenlit this insanity.

It works, but not the smoothest experience.
It has improved a lot, but still feels a little clunky and slow. The point is not to make it look nice, the point is to have a functional banking app and to make banking as streamlined as possible. Maybe focus on better performance and ease of access to banking. I don't need it to look nice, I need to pay my bills.
Perfect
I found the transition from the old app to the new one worked with ease I am so happy for the new options and the ease in which I can move money around or create new accounts. Thank you for doing the update even though it apparently caused some hiccups for seniors at first.

Did the update required and now I can’t get in at all.

The new App is much better. One additional feature I like to see is notes for mobile deposit so we can indicate what or who the cheque is from.
Rated for 4 year olds?
So if someone has trouble navigating through all the obscure pathways to get where we want to go then we're at less than a four year-old's level of competence? You haven't addressed the fact that choosing one account as default and pressing "save changes" guarantees nothing. It will bounce back to the other account, seemingly at random when you login again even though the other account has never been the default. It also takes a ridiculous number of clicks to log out.
Frustrated
I find at sometimes when I try to access my accounts to do transfers, it comes back as access denied and logged me out, which I can’t understand, Why an app would glitch out and do that is frustrating. I’ve logged in with my credentials and I’m not sure why access is being denied!

Poor experience
This is a very poor online banking experience. The updates make one feel like a step back not an improvement. Interac transfers now ask for the secret answer every time a transfer is initiated. There’s no option to store the security answer in the contact profile anymore. If the recipient has the auto deposit option enabled and the transfer is scheduled for a future date, the system is asking for the security answer. I was excited when the update was announced, but I am very disappointed. It makes everything more complicated.
miss the old app
the new app is decent. it works well, but my only complaint is not being able to see my balance without having to log in first.
Using visa balances as changes are stressful.
I waited for a year for this update. It’s just so disappointing esp when it comes to Visa app. You have to use it separately, logging in again.
Major Donwgrade Showjng Improvements
Wrote my original review (one star) a while back and since then there’s been updates that show light at the end of the tunnel. See below. Only going to bullet point my irritation. -no quickview -doesn’t save my password (fixed) -UI revamp is awkward (adjusting) -slow loading times (fixed) -etransfer no longer saves already known security answers, I now have to enter the same one everytime And I’m just an everyday user. Seems that it’s universally recognized as a poorly thought out remodel using amateur coding and zero beta testing. A disappointment that has me now looking at other financial institutions. I want so badly to like and support Vancity, and slip shod nonsense like this app is making it increasingly difficult.

When it asked me to save changes for transfers, I have to save it every time. I don’t have the quick view option like the last app had wish you never updated.

User friendly? Not in my books
I work with software, both from a user and provider perspective. The Vancity app has always been slow (guessing it’s just a wrapper for the website), but the last major update has done it: the UI is brutal. Counter intuitive coloring of buttons, weirdest scrolling …. If this was a paid app, I’d ask for a refund.
Missing feature
App works fine but I’d like to please request to have the ability to schedule recurring bill payments. I’m sure many members would benefit from this.
Wasn’t an improvement
I find I making mistakes transferring due to having multiple accounts and it being unclear which is which when transferring. I preferred the old app.

Terrible logged in twice still not arrived where I wanted! Still trying to get to pay bills , still wants me to download the new app!!!!!
E transfer
When we are sending the e transfer , the amount does not show up on the screen at the confirmation screen. We get a long confirmation number which has no meaning to us. secondly, again for e-transfer we should be allowed to share the screen shot instead of taking a manual screenshot then copy/oasting

Ease of Access
There is no more quick view, which now makes it harder to keep eye on accounts. You now have to fully log in just to get a quick peek on your accounts.

A very efficient way to view and sync accounts. Very user friendly and slick. A polished look that makes managing personal finances easier and more accessible.
Another bad bug
The previous bug I reported seems to have been fixed, which is good to see. Now, I am unable to view credit card transactions from earlier this month. Custom date range doesn’t work. Only shows a few days. The option for current period shows from mid August. The previous option shows until late July. I need to see the in between transactions, but can’t. This app really needs some proper testing.
Trash the app and get a new development team
Still the worst banking app of all time. If you can’t get the logo to load properly, you can’t even use the app it’s better to go to website and that is also pathetic.

Pathetic excuse for app developer
Vancity should be ashamed of themselves for paying for this app. Has anybody checked the pathetic speed that each page or function loads at. I can almost hear the modem dialling in the background to load each page. Obviously behind closed doors dealings going on for the approval process. Because anybody who uses current apps regularly would realise what a pig this thing is to operate. Come on Vancity either fire this app developer or tell them to stop relying on Ai for software development, the functionality and speed of each page loading is like watching paint dry. You can do better than this.
iPad version not useable
Prior, the iPad version was essentially the iPhone version, I had to squint a lot but at least I could use it. Now the iPad version is full screen but only available in portrait mode, so the iPad keyboard can’t be used (unless you are a contortionist - I’m not) Does anyone involved with app development use the app, as an actual customer? Might be worth someone trying it out from that prospective. Version 1.0.16 states print scaling fixed — it isn’t. The balance values in some of my accounts are presented in a smaller font size
