It is crazy how good and polished this game is! My thanks to the chef. I’m a strategy and role game lover. I was served well with this game Att: Ig: Alexandroseb
Not worth the price
Not as many hours of gameplay as claimed. The levels go very fast if you’re good at these kinds of games. The towers are unbalanced and the stats aren’t even shown. So you end up relying on the same few towers for every level with only a few tweaks. Not very interesting from a strategy perspective.
Beat the game
The game was great but having 58 prisms and nothing to do with them kind of sucks
disappointed
There are levels early on here that are just completely unbeatable I mean any tower any combo does not matter it’s completely impossible then paying money just to hit an impossible roadblock I mean it’s ridiculous
Truly Inventive
It’s been a WHILE—like a decade—since I’ve encountered a truly inventive tower defense game. But this game checks every single box I have, and some I didn’t know I had. Let’s start with the really creative stuff: 1. Personality: the pixel sprite hero is cute and whimsical. When you don’t touch the screen for a minute, she gets bored and goes “doo doo doo.” The flavor and crunch text are straightforward but cute without being winky. The music is catchy and fits the tone perfectly—jaunty at times but still full of ominous threat: like an enchanted forest at dusk. The artwork and level design is a quaint but beautiful solid color motif. There is a story to be revealed within, though I’ll admit I haven’t unpacked it yet. 2. Tower types: I’ve seen all the tower types. Well, I thought I had. I won’t spoil it, but I guarantee there are at least a few that will surprise and delight you. Discovering the synergies is a joy 3. Variety: each level has a unique problem to solve. Some have inconvenient tower locations, some have an overly exposed base to protect, and others have brute force waves. Solving it with the intended method is very satisfying. Solving it with a different method is VERY satisfying. 4. Difficulty: this is one of the most balanced games I’ve ever played, in genre or out. I’m not saying it’s easy, because it’s not. It’s surprisingly hard. But it’s fair, and it’s not punitive. The consequence of losing is that you just try again at the beginning of the wave. But rather than it feeling low stakes, it makes the various decisions feel important. 5. Pacing: there’s no tutorial. The first several levels have some simple control callouts, but it does an excellent job of showing instead of telling. To me, this is a sleeper mark of a great game designer. You also choose your own upgrade path via unlocking towers. You’re forced to learn one or two new towers at a time before accessing the full suite. Again, excellent design. 6. Fun: it’s extremely fun and satisfying. I normally don’t like a hero sprite in a TD game. But the movement and controls are so fluid and balanced, that it actually increases the immersion and adds a layer of—if not difficult—complexity and richness. Becoming familiar with the enemies and how they interact with the towers unlocks new depth with each level. Overall, a phenomenal and rich game that’ll work your brain in a super interesting way.
Label it as a demo in app store
Demo should be labeled as such in app store
Intense!
It is definitely different than most tower defense games. It does progress in intensity as the game progresses. One thing that I noticed sometimes the guy that you have to make walk from one point to the other he gets stuck in between the walls of the mountain and the tower you're trying to build so it slows down the progress of the game. Overall all I like it but as an older woman I would not play it enough to pay for it if I was younger I would say I believe it's five dollars to unlock the whole game I would pay it.
Not enough
The game once purchased is too small for the price. Surly there could have been loads more maps/scenarios. The towers are same same with little upgrade options. I like the game just wish you got more of it for the price.
Meh
Has potential, just not enough to justify the price of the full game.
Love it!
Love the style and animation. The demo has the right amount of tease to get me hooked for the full game

Not worth $5.99 for the full game
Let’s start off about the game: 1: the art style is worth noting, it’s a really good art style on paper, (by paper, I specifically mean it looks good in the App Store) BUT, it’s an extremely flat style, most everything isn’t animated with very much effort beyond a few flashing lights, the enemies are all practically just non-moving shapes, but the least effort are the backgrounds, which are just flat images with low detail. 2: the gameplay is extremely bare bones, compared to other TD games like blooms, this doesn’t hold up, game mechanics such as limiting the tower placements to preselected locations makes tower defense games like this very limited and boring. Overall, This game is seriously not worth the 5.99 to get out of the trial, and moreover not even worth the space it takes up on my device.
Eh
The game itself is great, but maybe the game should be free and you can buy other stuff like pay to win
5/5
This game is a work of art
Baits you
It baited me in thinking it was free 5-6 levels and there’s a pay wall
Good
Very nice game with nice graphics
Pay wall
It’s not free. You have to pay 5 bucks to get the “full version”
Ehh
Tower defense, but strategic, if trail and error is the only strategy you use. Extremely basic information on towers and enemies. Levels seem setup for specific tower combos and end too quickly. It’s like doing half the prep work over and over but never starting the project. Decent for mindless fun but no real meat.
very charming game
honesty have a blast playing this and i really enjoy the art style and music. it’s really engaging and easy to pick up and put down or get lost in. a lot of games struggle to keep or grab my attention but this one did. i underestimated it and didn’t think i would be into it much at all or that i would get bored with it early on and i am grateful that it had a free demo version, because it really pleasantly surprised me. i am normally into things like pokémon, animal crossing or sandbox games so sometimes when i see a strategy game, i’m intimidated and feel like i might get bored since i prefer a focus/priority on immersive worlds, interesting characters and art design. the strategy aspect adds enough depth to keep you playing while still having beautiful pixel art and music that charms me. definitely don’t look past this one and give it a try. it has much broader appeal than you’d expect and it’s easy to get into.
Not free
Lists as free game and download get game it’s trial garbage
pooof
why evrything in apple you shuld pay to have it , why we shoud pay for game for only have a little fun in this country with lots of problems . hoooof 😔
not worth 6$
completely different after, and way harder and more complicated. also charged my card more than it showed in the app. (showed like 5$ and charged 6) otherwise genuinely a good game before u paid when it wasn't extremely difficult even though it was short. i wouldnt have paid 6$ in general, let alone for x10 difficulty. just like any other tds but its a very unique style, makes it interesting to play but again, if i could play. after paying i find myself having to constantly replay the same levels and waves and its incredibly slow, maybe a x2 speed would help but maybe im just really bad at the game.
Nice Gameplay but short lived
I played all levels and only have the challenges left but I can’t upgrade anything so the reward to win the challenges is not there really. It took me about 6 hours, so quite short
Excellent balance of strategy and action
There's a lot to conquer and the difficulty increases as you would expect. But I finished it all and I want more :D
Less fun as it goes on; super frustrating
Gets less fun the further you progress as each level is a tiring unique puzzle that is trial and true to unlock. It’s a shame, because the mechanics are unique, but hampered by strangely overly-curated levels which get more and more frustrating as you try and work out which combination of towers work. Wish I could get my $5.99 back.
Good game, errors in Chinese translation
I like the game itself; its minimal visual style is quite relaxing. However there are some errors in Chinese translation: particularly in several challenges, some turret names are not shown. E.g. piranha > hook. Please fix.
Love this game - too short
Such a unique great game. My only gripe is how quickly I finished it I wish there was more levels. I could play forever.
Not free
It's misleading. It says free but once you download it says that you need to pay to download other levels. Basically just a free demo and then pay to play.
Very cool mechanics and amazing game!
Although so far I am only playing the demo, I am having a blast and am planning to buy the full thing soon. The game has some unique mechanics, and the sound alone made me love the game. Seems simple at first but gets really challenging. A hidden gem of the App Store that I hope will gain recognition!
Beautiful art but nothing more
The art and style of this game is done really well. But it’s just a tower defense game ultimately it has less features than many other tower defense games and costs way too much. I’d barely consider paying 99¢ after playing the demo.
Upfront pricing. TY!
I love the way on the first loading screen it mentions this is the trial and you can purchase the game for a reasonable price. No 14 click through ads or nickel and dime upgrades for only XX dollars. Beautifully designed. Strategic in all the right ways. Great work.
Bad advertising
A game shouldn’t be advertised as free and then once downloaded tell you that you have to pay for the full game…..that’s called a demo. Advertise it as that.
Beyond a simple copycat !
At first, I was skeptical, but it turns out to be one of the most original iterations on Thronefall’s signature gameplay. Still doesn’t exactly feel fresh, but different enough to be enjoyable! Love the quirky sound design.
Rift riff
Extremely Bad
🤦🏻♂️
Easy to start playing
A refreshing app that didn’t require consent for adverts and trackers before trying the game. It’s a simple tower defence game… worth trying.
