This game is fun and helps keep my brain sharp
False Ads used
I enjoy the game. I don’t wish to pay to remove all ads. I do not want to play games when Apple Store promotes false advertising and misleading and fraudulent ads. Example the jello baking soda diet using AI to use false celebrity endorsements.
Okay
Have to play in airplane mode to avoid all the ads. Normally not an issue but these will come up in the middle of doing a puzzle. Also, latest app patch is stuck on the welcome page it needs another hot fix.
Don’t pay for “No Ads”
First let me say that this !9my favorite game to play. I love word puzzles and this game is really good for my forty-something brain. However…this past week (end of August 2026), they decided to make you pay for a feature that has been free since the game began. They make you earn the “right” to watch an ad to earn the bonus. I paid $5 over a year ago to be able to play ad-free! While there have been options to watch an ad for an extra turn and such, there has never been a lock on a bonus feature that can only be earned after playing multiple puzzles. You should not waste your money buying the ad-free option because you have to watch stupid ads all the time and now it’s even worse. The “ad-free” option is a scam and doesn’t exist. I now have to find another cryptogram game and I have worked really hard in this one. I’m hoping that enough people will call them out on their b.s. and they will revert back to their previous bonus structure. Do better!
Never get a reply
This is a fabulous game. However, the Support sucks. No matter what I have ever asked I get "thank you, we will reply to you shortly. "I have never gotten a reply. I have asked how the game works, and no one will tell me.

This would be a fun game if there were less advertisements with every button that you click on. If you want no ads, you must pay $9.99. No fun… deleted game and looking for a better crypto game.
LOVE but…
I HATE all the ads! I l’d rather pay for the app than to have to suffer through the numerous ads.
Not For Me
The cryptogram puzzles are great. Too many challenges with not enough time to complete. I played several levels and probably 99% of the quotes were from the same group of people. How about mixing it up a bit?
So many adds
Fun game but the number and frequency of adds is outrageous! I understand the creators need to make money for their work but this is ridiculous
Fun but annoying
This game is fun. Lots of different themes and challenging. However, the ads are ridiculous. Long. Repetitive. It makes you watch a long ad every time you open it. Long n ad between puzzles. Just frustrating.
Excessive adds
This game was a fun challenge until they started interrupting every game with adds. I don’t mind adds between games, but now you can’t finish a level without interruptions.
Ads that cannot close
You need to get rid of ads you cannot close down except to close the app then many times the same ad opens again. I do not mind ads but after they finish I wish to close the ad down and get back to the game. I suggest playing the game yourselves to weed out these irritating ads!!!
Ads Ruin It
Unable to close out of Jelly Busters ad without restarting phone. This happened multiple times. Game itself is okay.
Could be fun
The game itself is fun, but be prepared for massive amounts of ads. You’ll watch an ad before each game and another after the game and another ad before starting the next game as well as having an ad showing below your game at all times. They want $7.99 for ad free…. Both are just ridiculous. I wish my old cryptogram game was still around. No ads, unlimited more varied and didn’t limit how many mistakes. You could finish the cryptogram and check it at the end and it would make your mistakes red, but you could fix it on the spot to finish without starting over.

Too many ads
In the last couple of months acts have started to pop up even before playing the daily this morning three ads before I could even get out of finishing the daily ridiculous stop it. I’ve played this game 280 days in a row. That’s quite an achievement. But now, if you don’t change your ad policy, I will be deleting this app.
Ads Galore
This game is fine to play - not particularly challenging, but it’s enough to keep me occupied. However, like with so many similar games, the number of ads is insane. I don’t mind an ad between levels, but this game involves two ads between levels. It’s another one that I’ll be deleting.

Stupid changes
Stupid changes are not needed. Everything was working fine and then they add a stupid second hint which takes all the fun away. Played for a year. Now my game is deleted. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
'Too rigid
You should allow more “error” because seniors hands/fingers oftentimes double tap especially with apple pen and it causes it to look like an error

Deleted due to ad volume and length
Fun game and cool puzzles. Spent a couple of hours and was enjoying it. But there is an ad when you finish a puzzle and another when you start the next. Ads are longer than in other games and often very slow to respond when clicking the X. I’m okay with ads. They need to make a living. But I won’t have my time wasted by sluggish, sloppy, excessive ones. Sorry, otherwise, nice game.
Great game, terrible on data and battery
I really enjoy the game but the data use is higher than any streaming and it will kill a battery fast enough I thought something was wrong with my phone.

Too Many Ads!
Ads creep in at a very low level, and no matter what option you choose to continue to progress, you have to watch an ad, sometimes 30 seconds, sometimes a full two minutes! Absurd. I can only stand so much.

Some quotes are off
Played for a few days but got frustrated with the quotes being off. For example, Queen did not write a song, “You’re my best pal.” After the third puzzle like this, I deleted the game.

Enjoying each puzzle
This has been such an enjoyable way to spend some down time! From daily puzzles to special category puzzles and the monthly that I can go back and complete! Only issue I found is the TIMER. There are times when I close the game and after my next puzzle have over 1000 minutes clocked when it really was less then 5. Not sure how it’s calculated but more than once it racked up time? So my true timer stats are sadly not true.

This game would be a lot more enjoyable if there wasn’t an advertisement before AND after each level. Ridiculous.
Crazy rating
Scroll down through the reviews. A lot of one two and three stars but somehow gets a 4.9? That’s odd. The ads are way too often. I get that’s how they make money but jeeze!! The constant ads ruin an otherwise good product. It also wants you to watch an ad to keep your daily streak going when you were just playing it 3 hours ago. But that being said I really feel this app is actually a brain workout and not just another game that turns the mind to mush. Just have to find a crypto that isn’t ad crazy.

Can you say AD?
You can’t start playing before you watch an ad . When you need a clue …ad ..when you finish a puzzle you watch an ad…. Then when you get to actually play you get the letter and it skips ahead which is ridiculous because you put the next letter in and oooops it’s somewhere else and not the next letter.. the screen flies up and its ridiculous!

Loved it until it just stopped working
I absolutely loved this game. Enough to buy out the ads. Played it every day. Now I can’t get passed the “daily reward” pop up. It just keeps cycling and if I click “app support” in the App Store, it just takes you to the webpage with no support option. Updated the game, power cycled my phone, anything I could try. Sad that something I look forward to everyday is now junk :(
Too many ads
The game is Your average cryptogram but it makes you watch several ads in between play. Ad, scoreboard, buy our features, another ad, THEN play. All games have ads but this one doubles up.

More ads than gameplay
Ridiculous amount of ads. Finish a puzzle, there’s an ad. Half way through a long puzzle, there’s an ad. Game alerts you of some in-game competition, there’s an ad. Collection a daily reward, so get it- there’s an ad. I needed no additional aid figuring out puzzles but the ads in this game is higher than any app I’ve previously downloaded. Too many ads indeed ruined this app!
Decrypt once, apply everywhere
It’s tedious to have to manually change all known numbers into their assigned letters word-by-word. It should be automatic. Also, it’s frustrating when you go to change a known number and your finger slips and you lose a life because of something that should have been automatically filled in in the first place.
