UPDATE: Purchased a “revive” offer. The game gladly took my money, then froze and when I restarted, not only was I not “revived” I lost the bonus for completing 5 levels. AGAIN. I also lost the progress I had made in the “revived” level. STEER CLEAR OF THIS APP UNTIL THEY FIX THEMSELVES!!! Update: yeah, still broken. Happened to me today. How dare I do anything other than play this game! The game continues to fail your current level if you walk away for a couple of hours which causes you to lose the bonuses received for winning five games in a row! Devs responded that they cared. They do not appear to. It is kind of a slap in the face. I am confident when I say that 99.9% of all players do have more important things that come up during a day than this game. Please fix this bug. AND if you could stop flashing your little “Treasure Cove”event in my face EVERY time I hit the “Home” button, I’d appreciate it. If I can solve your puzzles, I can figure out how to choose for myself the “Treasure Cove” event.

Genuinely love this game, but…
I’ve been playing this game for a few weeks now, It’s a great game, makes me focus and use my brain to figure out the categories, but the ads are HORRENDOUS! Literally after every round you’re hit with one. Now, there is a payout if you want ad free, it’s not a terrible price, but there are other ways to monetize with ads without bombarding players with ads after every game play. So.. it’s a 3 star for me.

I got charged $29.99 7 times in month of August. am being charged $29.99 every week for an elite package I never signed up for. Who would pay $29.99 a week for an app? I paid for ad removal and I have made in-app purchases but never signed up for Elite Package
Promising, but…
Love this game, but after about 75 levels the clues start repeating. If there were new connections, this would get 5 stars.

Sadly was enjoyable but I do not keep games that have issues. After a while you need a dictionary and then it’s no longer fun.

I'm afraid I have to update my earlier review. The game is fun until you get bombarded by ads. Usually I'm happy to pay for a good game, but this one isn't nearly polished enough to pay 10 pounds for. That's an uninstall for me.
Glitchy ads are ruining this game
The ads are ruining this game, I lost my progress to get the 10,000 coins and within the game when I’m almost done with a level . I’m done with this app until you have reliable ads and I stop losing my progress and it doesn’t recognize that I haven’t lost the level if I close the app. Improvements needed but love the concept of this game.

NEVER BUY PACKAGES !!
Never ever buy the welcome package or the starlight I refuse to buy another package ever again from this game. Apple replaced one time but when I tried again thinking maybe I had a bad connection they didn’t. I don’t know why I thought a different package would be ok. Still NOT!
Review
Fun game but I hate that the bubbles get so much harder that I eventually delete the game and start over. It’s supposed to be fun but when I have to look up college-plus terms it’s not so much fun. And you need to give better reward for completing the really expert hard puzzles.
No way to win
This would be a fun game if it would let me play it. Several times I have been in a level where I have matched ALL possible matches - all the bubbles are incomplete but there is nothing left to add to them. I can’t use the ‘plus’ button to get more bubbles dropped because it says ‘board full’ - there is no more room for more bubbles. And I can’t use a hint because it just says ‘no hint’ - because there are no other possible matches to make! So I literally cannot move on (it’s only been able to happen ‘several times’ because if you close the app it forgets you’re in the middle of a level and you start again with a new random bubble configuration). A basic function of any game is that there has to be A WAY to win. So while I enjoyed the first few levels that worked, I literally can’t play it anymore even if I wanted to so 🤷♀️ I guess that’s the end of the game for me!
Issue with losing lives
Shouldn’t have to lose a life if I’m mid game but then close down or leave the app momentarily. There should be a way where it remembers where you were (like with other game apps) and not reset back to the start.

Uses American English when I’m in the UK. Needs setting to be able to change to UK English.
Fun but frustrating
I enjoy this game but there are a few issues. Some of the levels are ridiculously hard and you have to watch a lot of adds to use boosters and get additional moves. I frequently have to google word meanings. Also there is a glitch on the levels where some bubbles are chained off and you’re not allowed to make matches across the chain but when you’re out of moves and you use a booster to find matches it crosses the chain. So either it’s a glitch or it’s forcing you to use a booster or watch an ad.

I love this game it makes you think sometimes I’m smart sometimes not so much.
Don’t try unless you know Korean words
Apart from the fact that you have to keep restarting a level if an ad crashes or you leave it for a while and cannot take a break , it’s just too hard with many Chinese or Korean words. Ok if you don’t mind paying for more assists when ads stop giving them to you.
Enjoyable game but......
If you want to watch an add for help hints some ads, particularly whatnot, the screen goes black, you have to close the app and start again. I have not been the first person to raise this so if this bug is not fixed I think I'll give up as it's frustrating

Flawed design
Despite there being a lot if duplication in the puzzles, I was really enjoying this game. However, there are some puzzles which separate the board by a chain and you cannot cross the chain until you make enough matches first. I’ve had it several times where it is IMPOSSIBLE to complete a puzzle without using the magnet helper as there are no matches without crossing the chain. It is hard to get enough cash for these helpers and I paid to not have to watch ads. It is very frustrating and seems to be a design flaw as you should be able to complete all puzzles without using helpers.
Fun except…
…the repetition of the same ads is ridiculous. Even after I purchased the game, I still have to wait for the ads to finish. And finally, DO NOT click a link on one of the ads. When I did, the game locked up and I had to close the app. I lost all of my progress as well as losing the items I purchased-with no way to get recompensed for the loss.

It was a great game but…
I have been totally addicted to this game. A few glitches that others have mentioned but it’s still been fun however, I’m stuck on one level where there is no more room for bubbles to drop and no more hints. I have played the same level numerous times, watched a ton of ads or used my coins for more bubbles/hints to be told each time that there are none. What more can I do? Some levels have been tricky but solveable, with this issue coming up before but this level just seems impossible and I’m fed up now. Thinking of playing a similar game that gives players a chance. It’s such a shame.

An intelligent game but very American word usage, vs. British, which causes occasional confusion.

I liked this at the start but there are too many categories that only Americans would know e.g. US sports teams. Also I just had a category of Extinct animals - Dinosaurs, Mammoth, Dodo and Kiwi!!! I’m sure I saw one recently in NZ!!
Nice game but for the glitch
I’ve only played for a short while but twice the daily puzzle was impossible to complete. There simply weren’t enough matches available to break the chain. Resultantly, I lost my shell streak.

Quite enjoyable game, but ads are too long so deleted it
I quite enjoyed playing this challenging word association game, but I got tired of enduring the irrelevant, to me, ads - like incessantly being forced to watch a woman’s “how to dress for their body type” ad over and over. The good game apps usually allow users to exit the ad after about 15 seconds … not this game. So unless you are prepared to shell out your readies and pay, I would give this one a miss.
Started out ok
The game is easy, mildly addictive and it is possible to play for free, but as other reviwers say, some links are tenuous and after a while it gets repetitive. The real reason for the low stars is there are bugs which prevent progress! Level 279 bubbles don’t appear, chains don’t break etc. The developers are aware but don’t seem inclined to fix it… sort it out guys!
