Fun Game: Too Many Ads
Everytime I get going, I am derailed by yet another ad. And to make things worse, the ad is usually the same ad repeated over and over again. They seem to only run about ten different ads, and repeat the same one five or six times before moving on to another ad that is of no interest to me. Many of these ads require waiting 20-30 seconds, or more, before you can return to the game.
Very EASTERN Hemisphere
Started playing a few months ago and have started noticing a trend in highlighting Eastern culture, particularly religion. Most categories relate to cities, clothing, food, language, etc. only found in the Eastern hemisphere. I found many mistakes and a few just bizarre words placed in themes. Some groups are sinister, highlighting criminals, black magic, and occasionally negative topics, NOT fun, light categories as I expected in a GAME.
Few ads, fun
Far fewer ads than the other solitaire games I’ve tried. You can choose level of difficulty after you get through the first easy levels.
Deck too far away
Or maybe my phone is too big, but annoying to play with how far you have to drag cards from the deck.

TOO MANY ADDS
I enjoy the concept, however, now the algorithm makes me watch and add about every 3 turn of the cards or I run out of moves. Going to stop playing!
Best of 3
I tried 3 different word solitaire games and likes this one the best. The ads are not excessive and the vocabulary is really varied. I’ve had to look up a couple words when trying playing!
False Advertisements
Very disappointed to see that this definitely said that there was no ads… In an ad on another game… I’m not paying to not see ads thing…
Fun game, for the first few levels very few ads.
Only wish you could rotate the screen vertical so you could see the text larger, is a little hard on the eyes in that regard.
WHAT?
The game has words that don’t relate to each other. They repeat words and images over and over. The images sometimes are hard to make out, so small. Ads,ads, ads

I liked this game a lot, enough to pay the 9.99 for no ads. Got charged and I have more ads now than before. Lesson learned! I feel like a smuck!
A Better Option
I played another Word Association Solitaire game that was so full of ads. I liked the game a lot, but the ads would come up in the middle of playing a round which was so annoying! I found this one, and even if there are ads, they only come up between rounds, which is better. I also like how you can choose the level to play. I like this game much better than the other one.
Disappointed.
Downloaded from another app due to NO ADs No WiFi needed. Only way to get AD Free game is to spend money. Will delete game.
Just challenging enough to still be fun
Appreciate that there aren’t any move limits and the events that go on. I would love to see the option to play an expert hand without having to go through the daily challenge. Additionally, I am working my way back through the daily challenges (in April now) and it would be nice if when I opened the daily challenge, it brought me to where I last left off.
Fun but glitchy
I’ve completed one of the side games but it shows incomplete because it doesn’t recognize that I’ve completed all levels. It keeps saying I need to complete one of the levels. I ended up completing it 7 times and it still shows as incomplete. Fix your bugs! You’d get more stars but your ads are out of control! And you people complaining about your god being portrayed as an idol need to get a grip. Your views are simply that. Your views. Go play something else and leave the grown ups to play.

I know it’s not a huge deal, but DO NOT advertise your product as ad free and still stick an advertisement after completing EVERY SINGLE LEVEL!!!!!
Honestly cool
I don’t usually review apps in the App Store but I was pleasantly surprised by the language learning feature? I originally downloaded this one because I got an ad for it that said theres no limit on the amount of moves you can do. I’ve been wanting that because I only want to play so that it’s relaxing with no stakes and I can just sit and organize piles. It does that but also you can learn vocab in a target language with it and I just think that’s surprisingly cool and thoughtful.

Too many ads. And no way to contact them to let them know there is too many ads. It’s ridiculous.

Love the game but the new update made it half the screen size on an iPad. Please change back.

Keeps promising new missions are “coming soon” but it’s been months.

Second word solitaire game that has too many ads. It makes my IPAD hot and eventually shuts down the game.
Love this game!
This is my favorite game. I look forward to playing everyday. There are some ads you can watch if you get stuck, but you don’t get annoying ads and it doesn’t feel like a cash grab.
Fun game. But it’s ai.
The mechanics and gameplay loop are a lot of fun, so it really sucks to immediately see that it’s ai generated pictures and art. Not even worth wasting my time watching an ad to play something that uses the sloppiest, laziest method of development.
Good but…
I like the game but am very annoyed because when I watch ads to get 10 additional moves, I am getting THREE moves and then have to watch more ads. 😾
Lots of adds!
I paid to play with no adds and all the special events still have adds after every level. And the get stuck loops so you can’t get the rewards after watching at times. There is no help or contact info within the game.

Word Solitaire Savior
Finding this app saved my enjoyment with Word Solitaire. Unlike the first app I'd downloaded, this one doesn't throw constant ads in my face. No pausing mid-game for an 'ad break', no coercion by pushing ads on me so that I can get 5 more moves & maybe complete the level, no random increase in hardness I didn't choose. This app's ad's are minimal, & it allows you to pick your difficulty level. There won't be random hard levels that they'll use to try to coerce you into watching ads to beat/pass it. They also don't have a coin system where you have to spend coins to access moves like Undo, you can just use it! Highlyyyy recommend. It's a bummer that a far worse Word Solitaire app has more users & reviews bc they can afford (likely with all their ads) to pay/'sponsor' Apple to boost them to the top of the search results for Word Solitaire.
TOO MANY ADS/TOO MANY OBSCURE WORDS
Not relaxing when constantly waiting for ads to end, to get back to the game. I play plenty of word solitaire games and I have never seen so many obscure words on an ‘easy’ level, almost as if you are trying to force some players into watching even MORE ads for hints. Also, why is this touted for ‘seniors’? What is the difference in age groups? One star
Loved it but it broke
I loved this game and played in Spanish (as a Spanish learner) every morning until 2 days ago when it failed to load. I have tried deleting and reinstalling but it won’t move beyond the front page with (supposedly) links to terms and conditions etc. nothing works and I’m stuck on that page. UPDATE: turning off my iPad and turning it back on has solved the problem. Loving the game again. It was incredibly frustrating that it broke in that particular way though when everything else was working fine.
There are ads
I love the game but in the ad for this game it boasts that there are no annoying ads. Do not market this with that phrasing if you are still including ads.
Great Game
I like the game and play it quite a bit. However the ads for the Horror Merge game and horrible and inappropriate. When I try to contact support, the button doesn’t work and I cannot flag the ads as inappropriate. The ads bother me enough that I will quit playing if I have to keep seeing them.

The ads claim to be unlimited moves but that is a lie about 6 games in I had to start watching ads to get more moves or pay a ridiculous amount of in game currency just to get 10 more moves. Definitely a pay to play game would not recommend downloading
Fun, but rewards seem pointless
I’m really enjoying this game, but would like it more if the points and trophies I win could be converted into the “magic wands” that are sometimes needed to complete a tough level in the events and daily challenges. Otherwise the rewards seem pointless.

BEST version of Word Solitaire
I’ve tried several versions of this game, but this one is hands-down the best. First - they don’t throw ads at you in the middle of gameplay. It does have banner ads, and one that you can skip after each match, and you can choose to watch an ad for a Magic Wand assist, but I am completely good with that! (You can also pay a one-time fee of $9.99 to remove them). Speaking of payment, their store is hidden in the Settings menu - it’s not cramming the screen with sales. Who does that!?!? I wish more games would! Second, NO TIMER. Expert level games have a limited number of moves, but the other difficulty levels have NO MOVE LIMITS. And you can watch an ad to get extra moves if needed in the Expert level games. Next, one of the really cool features is you can tap and hold a card and pull up the definition, or send feedback if you think a word or image is not a good fit for the Subject card. I enjoy using the definition feature, because there’s always new words to learn and you’re not bouncing back and forth between the game and your browser. So convenient! I would like to put out there to the developers that occasionally I don’t know what an image represents; I usually figure out where it needs to go but maybe adding what the image is in place of definition? Just a thought. Word Solitaire Now! is a fun game that does make you think about more than just grouping. In addition to sorting cards with the correct subject, you have to consider availability of open spaces. Simple to pick up, hard to put down. Again, this is the superior version of this game, don’t waste your time with other versions!
Game doesn’t load after latest update
Game doesn’t load after latest update, gets stuck on the loading page. Very frustrating as this is killing my streak.

I literally just downloaded the “ad free “ game and am getting pop up ads saying the “new version“ is ad free.
Good game, at first
It’s actually a pretty good game by design and the adds aren’t as intrusive as others. This one lets you finish a level before throwing an add in your face. So good marks all around there. That being said, I live in the US. This game was not designed for US English. Some of the stuff makes zero sense. Then, be ready to have both China and Islam pushed in your face constantly. There is no balance on the countries or religions highlighted. I had fun for a bit but hit the “I’m over it” point pretty quickly.
No interruptions
This game is much easier to enjoy without all of the repetitive ads interrupting me.
False advertising
Ad for this game said it had “no annoying ads” and that was true until you reach level 4. Now I get an ad between every game and banner ads as well.
Edit
Thoroughly enjoyable. The dictionary feature is helpful and if you get truly stuck you can use the “magic” button so every puzzle is solvable.

Really enjoy the game but it is ruined by the excessive advertising. Deleting this app and all others that are equally money grubbing
Started crashing
I really liked this app when I first got it, but in the past two weeks I’ve deleted and reinstalled it numerous times since it keeps crashing. I’m about ready to give up on it.
