Becoming a waste of time.
Paid a fine WAY before the due date, now receiving ugly emails and SMSes from the city saying my fine is overdue. Why does Fines SA take 3 MONTHS to pay???
System isn’t in sync with times
It seems like your system isn’t linked with what’s actually happening! Some of my friends have paid their traffic fines but here on the app it is yet to reflect! Why doesn’t it reflect the truth? Also, how many “family” members may you add?

A very easy to use app - well designed, user friendly and responsive. It’s the only app I use to control outstanding fines. Also helpful to have all the upcoming Demerit System easily accessible.
Horrible
I paid a fine last year. Now i can’t register a car under my name, cause it states that i never paid it. But on the app it shown as paid….

It’s bad service!!! Is it a con?
I paid three traffic fines via the app. I was then still chased by every local municipality and the last straw was today when I received summons for non-payment. When reaching out on the app chat they hide behind calendar and business days. More than their “indicated 30 business day” ago had I paid my fines BUT they are still outstanding and I am personally liable and have been summoned. Completely unacceptable. Avoid this app and rather pay the municipality directly. Avoid this really bad service

Delete profile
Why I can’t delete my account?. Every time I click delete account. It simply doesn’t want. The App is expensive and I will stick to Paycity. Please allow me to delete my account

I’ve been using the Fines SA app for a month now, and I couldn’t be more impressed. The app makes it incredibly easy to check for any outstanding traffic fines and pay them quickly and securely, all in one place. The interface is clean and intuitive, and the notifications are super helpful — no more surprises or missed deadlines!
No good.
You get your fines 2 months after, after the discount is expired and I feel like that is a scam

Doesn’t pay fines
I received a fine in October 2025 and used the app to pay the fine. Since then, today is the 13th of December 2025, I have received 2 sms’ stating that I haven’t payed my fine and if it’s not paid the price will increase. After the first message I made use of the in-app messaging service to contact support and they said it’s because of batch processing, but now it still isn’t paid so I assume the money got “lost” , aka stolen. Very dissatisfied and disappointed in this app and the service. I would not recommend the app, rather pay through the AARTO website directly.
Great App
This app has completely transformed how I pay my fines. It is very efficient and easy to make payment. I would highly recommend it
Useless not user friendly
The registration process does not work. When I try to register , the app gives me a message that the user (my email address) already exists. When I try to login in with my email address I get a message that the user does not exist. Please take a decision, my user ID exists or it doesn’t, it cannot be both.
