Struggle
Struggled to choose the contact person as it selected my daughter by default and I could not edit. Showed my details as the contact and then the next screen with summary showed my daughters information???

Slow and not repsonding
Tried numerous times to log a claim during a home emergency. The app kept crashing and buffering for long periods of time, the crashing again. This happened over and over again. I ended up phoning the call centre. Much easier than using a slow app.

Cannot use my App. It keeps telling me to update. When I try it says requires IOS16. I don’t have IOS16. Only have IOS15.8.7. What now? How do I get to use the App?
Failed Login
Can’t even complete registration process, app won’t accept my ID #.

Initially the app was great to use. Now it is stuck on the login screen with the loading circle. Can’t enter the app to view my insurance details.

Every time I try and check my transaction history on my claims card, the App bombs out and closes.......very annoying, please fix otherwise might as well delete app.
Password setup is a pain

Quick and effective process
Broken signup process
Unable to create a new account via the app. Get told “email address is invalid”. I try to log in and weirdly my account has been created with said invalid email address. There is then a random “yes/no” option with no corresponding question which toggles between wanting an ID or passport number. Assume there question is about whether I am an SA citizen. When entering one of these I get an error saying “no details found”. If I select “I’ll do this later” I get logged out and am back at square one.

I get an error message saying ‘registration failed’ without any explanation, when trying to register to use the app. Highly frustrating.

Phone Passcode
Why do I need to have my phone passcode enabled to use the app. The app is for emergencies of all kind and if I forget my password I won’t be able to use the app? Or what if my wife or children need to use it in an emergency? Please disable that function
Stuck
When attempting to claim for a burst geyser, the app asks what type of geyser it is with a drop down menu. Selecting the type does not register so when you press “next” it does not proceed indicating to first select the type, try again same thing, basically stuck and cannot complete the claim! So much for using the app- back to the call centre I guess
Very poor effort
In 2023 it should not be difficult to develop a basic app that works. It takes up to 30 seconds to load each page, when moving between different parts of the app. All I see is a revolving circle when open a new page - why such a slow response time? Quicker for me to navigate the full website in my cell phone than to use the app
