Not reliable
I am sick of the system after five years. I’m going to have to cancel. The one time I really really needed this that someone attempted to steal my car for the police, how embarrassing I couldn’t give it to them because there’s some kind of glitch going on. Furious with this. the whole reason for a security system is to feel secure and get on camera what is needed to make me feel safe and this was a total fail!

I would not recommend this app
I have use this app with Momentum cameras for 8+ years now and I am just fed up with the glitches the app crashing, it also signs me out very often and I have to sign back in. Another issue that happens when trying to refresh the cameras I get the "connection strength is weak tap to refresh" message which is very annoying and all the cameras just freeze frame the last view that it had captured and there are critical times when I need to view my cameras when I'm not at home this has happened and I have to wait untill I get home to reset everything when something could've happened to my home and I'm not able to view my cameras, I'm swapping everything over to Geeni cams and app in which I have as one exterior camera and that app has never failed me.

Почти всегда приходится делать несколько попыток открыть онлайн просмотр камеры через приложение раньше никаких проблем не было сейчас раза с 10-го получается зайти но ито не всегда показывает загрузку в процентах останавливается и всё далее приходится пытаться снова зайти.
Subscription
Hi I have 4 cameras installed. And I did subscribe to the app. But it only record one camera. I tried to make all 4 camera records but I couldn’t. How is it possible to make all 4 cameras record?

The process to cancel a subscription is extremely difficult. The only reason they are in business is because it’s an inconvenience to have to cancel a bank card. They get ZERO stars
Basic but good
App need done updating and newer features but for a basic app it’s great Few ironing out issues Screen turns when viewed on side which is slightly annoying but iPhone can Lock Screen You cannot have motion alerts You cannot record more than one screen I found a recorded screen with a format link but no specifics to what I’m formatting - potential issue A cloud link - didn’t work but I’m sure could be fixed I’m happy enough with this system app as I have X2 app for my systems one wireless and a hard wire.. (1new 1old)
When it works it’s okay
When it works it’s just okay. Now the app won’t load the videos. Starts to load and then nothing. On the computer side, it’s working just fine on the monitor.

1. Когда переворачиваешь экран во время просмотра записи с внутренней карты памяти в горизонтальное положение, картинка переворачивается неправильно. 2. Управление PTZ не удобно. A) Отсутствует функционал выбора пресетов. B) Управление одной рукой очень неудобно. Было бы хорошо добавить стрелки с направлением и возможность управления касанием к стрелкам. Если разработчик устранит вышеперечисленное, пользование приложением станет гораздо удобнее.

Thank you Danale,Smonet & Amazon whoever played a role in helping to fix the bug in the Danale Mobile App. When Danale mobile app is working remotely it makes the Smonet camera systems are the best systems for home camera security to buy. The cameras have great day and night pictures but have to be able to have a working functional mobile app they use, and now Danale Mobile App is working again. I just hope they stay working , the Danale Mobile App, because the Smonet Camera System stayed working on line when the Danale mobile app was down for remote users.
Last update crashes app
I cannot view any camera after the last update. The last update causes the app to crash every time I try to load a camera.

Уже несколько лет пользуюсь программой.Все было ок. Можно , конечно что то улучшить.Например просмотр видео записанного по тревоге. Выделять его отдельными файлами, а не только помечать в ленте записи и поместить в отдельную папку для удобства просмотра. Но появилась проблема: программа не открывается , пишет ОШИБКА СЕРВЕРА. Уже второй день. Устраните, пожалуйста.
Doesn’t work
Had 2 cameras “stop working”, figured out it was the app. Cameras works fine over the local network when viewing from the browser but the app never connects to the cameras. The second camera I ordered is a little newer but has the same issue. Doesn’t matter what network I’m on or what network the camera is on. It just doesn’t work.
PLEASE UPDATE APP!!
When switching from portrait to landscape, it is all messed up. also crashes a lot. Lastly, if there’s multiple devices logging in. It logs everyone else out. That is very annoying. Please address all issues. TIA.

I have used the Danale app for my camera for over 4 years now. First used as a baby monitor, never had an issue and loved the subscription service to save clips as he had night terrors and used that to capture them. I really like how most motions are saved are 2 minutes long. My ring doesn’t even save motion for that long. Now it’s being used for house camera. . I use my iPhone, sometimes it takes longer to load but I’ve figured out it determines on the type of Wi-Fi I’m on. Turning on my cellular data always works the quickest for me. I’m actually considering adding more cameras because I like this app so much. Now my only Con— only one device can be logged in at a time, so if another family member wants to view the camera I will automatically get booted out, and will have to re enter password. I wish I was at-least notified of another device logging on as my motion notifications will end as well and sometimes won’t realize. The only notification I get is when I click the app to view the camera, it then pops up that I’ve been logged out but if Danale could have the notification sent as soon as another device logged on that would help tremendously! Over all though I’ve had a great experience with the app for a long time.
Do not update!
This last update made the app unusable for me. It crashes or won’t load any camera feeds or recorded video.
На весь экран не работает
После обновления не отображает на весь экран! Картинку отдельных камер разворачивает на 90 градусов нормально. Картинку регистраторов разворачивает на полный экран, но при развороте устройства, картинка сваливается на бок в полном объеме, в результате отображается только 25% экрана. Помогает только запрет разворота картинки в гаджете, и только после этого разворот на весь экран и поворот гаджета на 90 градусов гарантирует нормальный просмотр.

Landscape view not working.

Can’t landscape
Since the last upgrade when I load up my cameras, and then turn my phone to landscape mode, it doesn’t work, can’t get to four camera screens to landscape for some reason and not sure how to fix it from my end so it must’ve been some thing from the last upgrade can you fix status?
New update breaks camera
Update: latest update broke the app again. The latest update breaks the functionality of the app. As soon as app is launched and camera view is loaded, it will self-close without any errors. Also, when you try to look into the device memory card, it will self-close. The app is completely useless with the latest update. Can you please fix or revert back?
Does the job.
Came as the default choice by camera company. Ive been using it since early 2020. No insurmountable issues.. normally a total close and reopen sorts out missing zoom facility. Would like to see a speed control on the PTZ and some presets but it does what i want it to do.
Landscape mode stopped working
Cant use the landscape mode on iphone if you tilt your phone to landscape it the video it goes smaller
Doesn’t work on iPhone
On the iPad it connects reliably every time. However, on the iPhone, attempts to connect terminate at 80-95% connection completion and the message “Connection strength is weak, tap to refresh“.

Can’t view cameras thru this app ever
I have reached out through email and asked for help my cameras do not load I have done Everthing suggested on their HELP page yet nothing allows the 6 cameras to load live footage! Danale needs to help TECH SUPPORT PHONE NUMBER I have spent 22 hours this company gives you verification code but then doesn’t allow you to hit the next button. There is no next button so I can’t verify my account and I need to put the cameras back on my home system and nobody contacts you or you can’t reach anybody with this company to help you it’s a joke. I’m disgusted.

Can not reliably use over cellular, even 5G
The app will work as intended when only connected to wifi. If you try to use the app with cellular service, even 5G with good reliable reception, the feed will open, but within seconds the stream goes to 0.00kb/s and will not stream. I can get my other cameras to stream without issue using a different app. Support team please look into this issue!
Lost Landscape View with Latest Apple Update
As the title says. App has been pretty decent up until the last Apple Update. Now the landscape view doesn't work. Everything else still works as before.
Problems with iPhone 11
I have nothing to say about the app, I’ve got for at least an year now and it’s working perfectly!!! BUT I just got an iPhone 11 and since then the app doesn’t work properly when it’s on the landscape mode. Will you issue any update to fix the problem any soon ?

It is not possible to cancel your subscription in-app, and they bypass Apple's subscription model so you cannot cancel with them.

Era ottima ma dopo l’aggiornamento 5.9.17 non funzionano più le notifiche di rilevamento rumori e movimenti. Inoltre si verificano crash improvvisi casuali con rete cellulare. 4 stelle per la fiducia.

works well, please add ability to turn off night time uv lights
A lot better since updates. Please add the ability to turn off/on manually the red/UV night vision lights. this causes reflections from glass surfaces. Also if the camera is used to monitor babies or pets it’s not good for the eyes. thanks!
Can’t access my app
Very basic app and hard to get support or corrections. I reset my password after inputting a second verification code and then the app asks for a 3rd code to log in which is never received after several attempts.

Awkward and non-functional
The app finds my camera and says its wifi connection is established. Then it says “add the camera in the app.” Well, it’s there…I see it…but it just counts down and ultimately doesn’t end up connected. I have tried both methods (password and QR code) but it doesn’t successfully get added.
Works ok, once you get used to the poor UI. Needs iOS 15 update.
Need to update for iOS 15. Screen rotation doesn’t work.
