Does what it says on the tin
I came back from holiday in May 25 and I was a gnats nut under 16 stone. I know the calorie counts aren’t spot on but they’re close enough. I also know that my weekly pub meal and pint will put the over but I’m good with that. In six months I lost 2 and a half stone, then I went to India, oh my god the food is awesome, then Christmas and I had reversed my trend. Currently, Jan 26, I’m a gnats under 13 stone and headed downward again. It’s easy eat, track and don’t close the circle.

Aide à perdre du poids
Une bonne app généralement qui rend plus facile la surveillance de l’alimentation. Je souhaiterais seulement qu’ils arrêteraient de faire des changements mal pensés, surtout ce dernier qui fait de sorte que l’app décide en fonction de l’heure si l’on mange le petit déjeuner, le déjeuner, le dîner ou la collation. Les gens peuvent avoir des horaires qui varient, ou consigner leurs infos plus tard et donc un dîner tardif devient pour l’app une « collation » de steak et de purée de pommes (par example). Le mieux est parfois l’ennemi du bien!
Often stuck
After you search an item in your history, the app just froze and you have to swipe it away and re-enter everything.
Newest update makes it harder to track macros
Only reason I put a 3/5 instead of a 5/5 is because the newest update is not user friendly when it comes to tracking macros for each meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner) only shows calories at the top. I have to manually keep checking each food log of my total macros throughout the day. That’s so inconvenient when you wanna have balance for every single meal throughout the day. Pls fix it back!
Awesome app to track calories
Great app for iOS 26 to log calories and lose weight, you can takes pictures of food and it logs calories thanks to AI, to recommend!
Disappointed
Used this app all last year and it worked great until I renewed my subscription. Now everything I take a photo of a food label the calories do not match the photo and are off by 5-10 calories. I have tried everything to make sure that it’s not something on my end and it’s still off. Makes me wonder if the AI plate scanner is off too. I don’t trust it now and will have to move to another app.
Almost Great
After using the app, I love how easy it is to track calories and macros. It took me a few days to figure out how to modify the serving amounts (ie. 1 bowl) to be in line with package serving size). One additional that would be very helpful is a weekly total of calories and macros — especially for weight loss.
Not Great
This isn’t great. In fact it’s rather annoying. The AI scan is rubbish. I scanned the same group of raw vegetables three times and got completely different macros - more than 100 calories difference. And when you search for food items you don’t always get simple options. For example, a search for cooked chicken thighs gives you loads of options like “cooked chicken thighs by Tesco” or “cooked chicken thighs by…” some or other company. No simple cooked chicken thighs. It’s almost as if the app assumes you haven’t cooked the chicken thighs yourself! I wish I hadn’t paid the £30 for the annual subscription!
Units hard to track and calorie count not accurate
You can’t edit the serving portions for example, the amount of cups, tbs, etc. Another example i took a picture of two fried eggs on my plate after i ate one. I wasn’t able to add a third egg, the unit was “plate” which could mean any amount of eggs. So my solution was to take a picture of one egg to balance this, and the calorie count of one egg was the same as the two eggs? Same for my French toast, one slice was the same as three slices…. It’s not accurate but gives a general idea which is helpful. It’s a good app for a general idea of what you are eating but the coders need to make some updates.
So surprised!
Decided to give this app a try and I’m glad I did! Exceeded my expectations and I’m loving it. Bravo to the developers!
BEWARE of the apps 7 day trial
I signed up for a 7-day trial with the understanding I would receive a notification before being charged. No notification was sent. I was then charged for the highest-priced subscription tier without clear disclosure or affirmative consent, despite lower-priced options being available. I did not intend to purchase this subscription beware of this app locking you into a subscription you did not want. I am so disappointed with this standard and how nefarious their tactics are
Generally good - a few suggestions
This app is generally good and does what it says it does. I like the A.I. function of just being able to take a picture of the food, and that the app allows you to adjust quantities/food ingredients after the A.I. assessment. If it’s read something incorrectly, then you can adjust it. My biggest hope for the app is that they allow you to upload a picture of a nutritional label, such as a screen shot, rather than needing to take a picture of it with your camera. That would make it much easier to upload online nutritional info, or precise nutritional info calculated on chat gpt. I would also contribute to the barcode inventory a lot more with this function. Currently, if you use the barcode to scan an item and it is not in their database, the app requires you to type out each line of a nutritional label. If I could just upload the nutritional label when this happens, they would have a much larger database that increases user ease.

I just answered all the questions and it said I can lose 40lbs in under a month.

Not bad. Not great either…
Great really useful recipes. However, scan a meal: 450cal. Dictate a meal: 450cal. Dictate a completely different meal, guess what?! 450cal?! Scan a meal just gives what the app thinks is on your plate (of course) but it breaks it down into nutrients not ingredients so you have no way of verifying the scan. Worth the money. Not sure yet. Scan a bar code…? Search a food? These still need a *lot of work. Search is often not found (gala apple bar code search?) and search brings up food not even related to the search? Am I losing weight? Yes. So it’s working from that perspective 😂

This is app is kinda crazy. It works. It takes a picture of my food, even my drinks, and knows what it is and how much of it is there. I love it.
Last update sucks.
I’ve been scanning the label food over and over again and the app isn’t keeping it. So many times I have to put the same information cuz somehow it gets lost. Not loving it. Please fix it ASAP!
Good app but needs adjustment
Is it possible to be able to change the calorie counter to Kilojoules. I have changed the individual food items to Kj but cannot change the main daily counter. Other than that I’m pretty much satisfied with the app.

It’s a rough guide
I think it’s ok as a rough guide to what you’re eating. It doesn’t recognise UK barcodes, and even if it roughly recognises a photo of the food, or your description, the options to choose from aren’t always accurate. The option to edit the calories or enter completely manually might be better- I worked out the exact value for something by weight using package info, but the nearest item I could choose in app was 10 calories higher. I think it will become easier to use once I’ve logged all my regular items.
So many ads the produce can hardly be tested
Every time I’d make one entry, I’d be hit by about a minute and a half of ads. Esto, if you don’t let me adequately test your product, I’m not purchasing a subscription!
Demotivating
I was exited for this app. Until I saw I had to pay for the things that I knew would help me. This app mostly devoted me. I really hate how I look I’m 17 and I really shouldn’t feel that way. But in all honesty it’s my fault because I let myself get this fat and know I really don’t have no motivation at all to lose this fat.
Best app for weight loss
Since getting to know this app my weight loss journey has been way easier and I feel confident about myself. I’m really grateful for this app.
AI? Sort of. Not accurate.
The app wants access to all your photos. If you do so good luck with that. I chose to only allow selected photos and it stopped working. Also, the AI is also totally inaccurate. I have to manually enter the actual weight from a scale. Weights and food scanned need a human to edit. Heavily.
UK Barcodes
I like this app. I think it works really well after you pay for a subscription. My only complaint is that it does not recognise any UK barcodes so you kind of loose a tool which makes counting calories much easier. So unfortunately after my subscription finishes I will move on to another option
How many questions??
Never got around to using the app because it asked about 50 questions and I still hadn’t got into the function of the app. Wanted to hang myself just setting up the app.

this app seems really good and super helpful, coming from someone who is trying to loose weight. i can definitely depends on this app. but i don’t have a lot of money and really wish someone would make an app just like this for people who don’t have money and still want to loose weight!!

New update?
Love the app! Pretty accurate as far as tracking goes. Lost one star due to the new update: I still want to see the total calories for each meal. Bring that back!
Not many uk foods
I joined this app to lose weight through calories and exercise rather than a fad diet. I paid £29.99 for the year with no trial period and what a mistake that was. There is not a lot of uk based foods, for example crunchy nut cornflakes don’t exist, nor does the barcode work or the AI scanner. I’m on a gluten free diet and there is a very limited choice for that too. Wish I’ve saved my £30 and put it to use somewhere else.

i downloaded the app with no high expectation. but as soon as i downloaded the app i felt like i could be honest and safe with my answers. the quiz at the start was actually fun to do aswell as interesting! then i could start logging my journey. i 100% recommend!!

It does seem the AI scan is not often accurate. Also when I adjust ingredients it doesn’t seen to count my changes when analysing the calories. It would be great if I can add my daily supplements and vitamins to the app, so it can count towards my daily macros. Also it would be great If we can use the barcode or scanning function for ingredients when we are adding our own recipes by description page.

I was offered a free trial, I picked 3 month one subscription but then I didn’t like the app and wanted to cancel the trial. Lo and behold I found out I had the subscription for 3 months and I was already charged for them. No free trial. Now I ended up with an app I don’t even like that I paid 40CAD for. Kind of seems like a scam
Great app
I have been using this app for the last week and is one of the best I’ve used. The meal plan is easy to follow and easy to cook. However, with a little work this app could be truly amazing if the developer made some improvements: 1. Some items in my meal Plan don’t show up in the shopping list even after you refresh it. This means sometimes you are left without ingredients to make the meal. 2. Pictures of the meals don’t have all pictured ingredients. While I understand you are making the meal look enticing having a picture of a meal with additional ingredients is a little misleading. 3. The Shopping list is a bit clunky. You cannot sort the list. For example if I’m in the vegetable part of the supermarket I have to scroll the entire list to find the items and check them off. If you could sort the list into sections (i.e. dairy, meat and poultry, vegetables, groceries) it would make shopping a lot easier. 4. Shopping list often has multiples of an item. It would be good to have it merged to one item so you know the total for what you need for the week. But even just sorting the list would help with this. Having to scroll the list to make sure I have everything is not a good user experience. 5. Recipes often say 1 instead of giving grams. This is fine if you are getting 1 apple or 1 banana but if it’s for 1 chicken breast as in the case of one of my recipes you don’t know how much of the chicken breast the recipe is asking for. It could be 150g or 300g. Having the weight helps you to know exactly what you need. Don’t get me wrong this is a great app and I’d recommend it to anyone. One of these I’ve seen! I think with the above tweeks it could be a 5 star app.
Not a mature product
It is not a mature product to release to the market and charge customers in my opinion. It uses its customers to build up its database. The bar codes scam returns a result 2 out of 5 for regulars grocery items. Don’t even have the bar code for the milk bought at Costco. It doesn’t support other non English language in search, even for the items that added yourself. AI function works somewhat okay, but it does not give user the editing option when the nutrients data is not accurate. Great idea, a lot improvements needed to become a mature product.
