Barcode scanning isn’t working
I’ve used this app for some time now and already lost 20 pounds which is why I’m giving it three stars for now. Sadly I found that today when I go to the barcode scanning area to use the camera to scan my food, the camera doesn’t open within the app and instead a white screen is stuck instead. I use this feature everyday and now have to either search for the food itself or manually type in the barcode. I’ve tried refreshing the app and redownloading it but nothing has worked. Until this gets fixed I’ll be leaving the 3 star review up.
SCAM
Stay away stay far away! They charged a credit card I don’t even have on file! Goodluck canceling too HUDGE HEADACHE
Wish it had a widget
Love the app for the most part, just hate that I have to go into the app to see my bites. The AI even say they have a widget, but I can’t get it on my 15 Pro max
New update terrible
I tried submitting this on the developer page so I wouldn’t have to submit a bad review. But I have been using this app for years and I love it but the recent update is awful. Everything says “servings” instead of the exact measurement (ie ounces, grams, tbsps, etc) and when I try to fix the item the app crashes. Please go back to the way it was before this update.
Bar Code Scanner stinks!
The bar code scanner leaves a lot to be desired. I love the app, I use it every single day to track food but the camera/barcode scanner is awful! I spend so much time trying to line up the barcode perfectly. It never works on the first 10 times you try and scan. Other than that the app is great.
Keeps me on track!
I have used this app for years. I had great success with weight loss, counting points. When that got too expensive, I switched to this app which was called I track bites back then and never looked back. I love the scanner. I love that you can track your water your vitamins and whatever else that they offer to track I use it lol
Cancelling the subscription is very difficult
It is very hard to figure out how to cancel a subscription with this app.
Crashes
I’ve had pro for years but hadn’t used it in a few months. Now when I try to modify a food I entered for the day, it crashes or won’t let be change the amount. Hopefully it will be remedied quickly or I’ll need to cancel my membership.
Ok
The app itself is ok, but just know that if you pay for it, it is IMPOSSIBLE to cancel. All I received were canned responses on how to cancel that did not work. There is ZERO customer service. I had to call the credit card company and do a charge back to get a refund. Never again…
good food tracker, meh activity tracker
Update: Developer response to their sad list of activities in their tracker is “do it yourself”? Or just take the GLPs they are constantly promoting? This app is fine. Not great, but fine. The food tracker glitches seem to be resolved regularly. But it is crazy hard to track exercise. I dumped Fitbit and absolutely cannot figure out how to connect my Garmin. And the roster of activities seriously needs to be updated to the 21st century. Three different kinds of “aqua” aerobics and shopping as exercises but no aerobics, no Zumba, not even a stairclimber? For real? It is a sad list of options.
Try it out
I’ve been using this app for YEARS. It’s amazing for tracking calories and macros. It’s easy to use and gives you many options for tracking. Try it out for a couple weeks and see how you like it.
ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE
Updated to the pro version for the recipe features. Every time I try to adjust ingredient quantities it crashes. Reached out several times requesting a refund and got the same automated responses over and over. Don’t waste your money or time!
Good price but mostly no fiber tracking
Can’t beat the price compared to WeightWatchers! Has enough branded foods to be comparable to WW as well. A minus for people on GLP-1s: you have to eat plenty of fiber to avoid nasty GI side effects when on a GLP-1. As far as I can tell, Healthi only lists fiber in the macros if you use the plan for people subscribed to Healthi’s GLP-1 program, which I am not. I am on Carb Conscious, which they claim has fiber as the”the magic ingredient,” but you have to manually add up fiber on your own/off app to keep track. Makes this app much less useful than WW, which does track and add up fiber for you.
GLP Pushers, Gross and Unethical
I’ve used this app for years, mainly because they had a similar tracking program to the old WW program and I needed a way to track points with that algorithm. However, they’ve jumped on the GLP bandwagon, which means you are constantly being pushed to get on GLP-1s, both directly (“Why you should start a GLP-1”) and more subtly (“Must Read: how to support people on GLP-1s”). IMO, this is digusting. It’s disgusting that an app meant to be a tracker is pushing GLPs like this, especially how experimental they still kindof are. Not only are they pushing people to choose GLP-1s, they are selling it too. I find this totally unethical. I also find Noom doing it unethical and gross. Using GLP-1s or not should be a decision made with you doctor, and it means that while I used to really like the app, I’m no longer here for this.
It’s wonderful when it works
I have been using this app for over a decade. Recently there have been errors and glitches that are making it impossible to use.

App issues no refunds
I used this app a few years ago and liked it. Decided to renew my pro version and the app has major glitches with tracking. Did the fixes and then the interface was messed up. I have been back and forth with customer service for two weeks and can’t get answers or a refund. Don’t do the paid version. There is no help solutions and they will run you in circles on email until the refund window is closed.
App Won’t load on my phone
I used this app and lost weight. Great community support loved the groups too the one day the app would freeze and drop. Have not been able to use it for years when I went to open it today it does not load. Help! Need to lose the weight and this is the app for me!
Keep Taking Away Features
I like the app. It’s a good way to track your weight. But the fact y’all keep taking features and locking it in the “PRO” version is ridiculous. At this point just make the whole app something you have to purchase.
Can’t update portions without it crashing
I’ve been using Healthi for years and it’s generally great. I follow the old WW blue plan and use the better balance program in Healthi. But lately I can’t change the portion size of anything after tracking it without the app crashing and it’s assigning points to blueberries and other zero point food. Kinda frustrating. I’ve updated to the latest version but still a few bugs to work out.
Awesome
I love this app. It helps me keep on task and keep losing the weight better than anything. I’ve been on so far.. I love that it’s free. I did do the upgrade for $50 and it was well worth it.
Constantly crashing after “update “
App is constantly crashing after the supposed “update” done a week. It is basically unusable now. Really disappointing for an app I’ve never had a problem with before. I’ll give it a couple more days and then will be moving on to another solution
A good app for the old school WW plan but…
Why on earth can it not share my calorie and macros info to apple health? I can share step count but that’s it. Why???
Not thorough enough
I really like the layout of this app and purchased the Pro version in January 2025. Unfortunately I ended up not using it after a couple of weeks and went back to WW. There are so many foods I eat that are not included in this app with the points value. Sadly, I won’t be renewing for 2026.
Great app, very buggy though
The app is awesome when it works right. It crashes often even after reinstalling it a couple times.
The improvements are on point!
Love this app. I am so impressed with the improved food logging with fractions, decimals, etc. it’s seamless and easy to use! I am so happy to continue using this app! Thank you for making worthwhile improvements and incorporating an easy way to report issues right in the app, though I haven’t had any in ages. Great dev team focused on the right things!
No support during YS day time at all
The app crashed and no support at all. The so called support only responded once while YS is sleeping. It takes weeks to figure out an issue. All they bc ask us for you to remove the app and download again so that you lose everything anyway! Apps sucks! They refuse to give you credit! Plus they jeep bugging you daily to buy their glp1

Some updates make app dysfunctional
It seems that whenever there is an iOS update, my Community area doesn’t fully function. I can see others’ posts, but cannot comment on them or read other comments. I just see a blank white page and my keyboard doesn’t pull up to type anything. I’m using an iPhone 14, always update apps & iOS when notified, and have tried deleting the app and restarting my phone. It had started to work again, until I recently download the new iOS. Please fix this.
Glitches
I’ve been using this app for years. After last weeks update, the barcode scanner is glitching and creating a recipe is a nightmare. It took me an hour to create a recipe because it kept throwing me out of the app when I tried to add ingredients or use the barcode scanner. I’ve already deleted and downloaded the app multiple times. Please fix the bugs.
Love they app but wish updated restaurants
Love the y app but I found that the new stuff from tim hortons and subway aren't on here like their rice bowls. Pita pit none of their bowls. But otherwise love the app and podcasts
Scam Company
This app is a scam. Just a money grab. Once you join you can’t cancel. You just get the runaround
Disappointed with new app update.
Ever since I put in the new update, this app won’t work on a iPad Pro. I probably put in more tickets than I should’ve but I sure hope they fix it. Before it was a great app.
Buyer beware
I have the paid version and out the gate it has been glitchy, non-responsive taps and freezing which is manageable but it’s been nearly 2 months and it still is not tracking my bites and activity correctly. The activity either doesn’t show up on my day, is not accurate to the amount in the activity section, or is just frozen on an amount from days before. As someone who really uses the activity bites to motivate and see the results of my efforts at the gym on the screen, this really kills my motivation and makes me a lot less likely to track. I WAS in communication with tech support until I asked about a credit for the app not functioning how it is supposed to for almost 2 months. Haven’t heard back in almost 2 weeks now. I have updated the app regularly, swapped programs and adjusted every setting for activity tracking and use, restarted my phone several times, uninstalled and reinstalled the app and every other thing I could think of and that tech support suggested. It would fix it for maybe a day before breaking again. So now I am on here being “that guy” and giving a long, crummy review, but I am really disappointed and REALLY frustrated. If this doesn’t get resolved soon, I may as well just go back to WW or another program that functions, and chock this off as a lesson learned. The only reason that I gave it two stars is because when the app actually semi-worked, I really liked it. Now I am saddled with faulty junk.
Good but need help to connect to other apps
I would like to transfer the nutrition information from Healthi to Garmin via the Apple Health app but I can’t figure out how to do that after quite a bit of trying. The AI assistant says to click on it Connect in Settings but I don’t see that option anywhere. Please help! Otherwise it’s great.

Difficult to Install
I tried to install the App on my iPad because I already have it on my phone. In spite of my best efforts it refused to accept my password which I use on the App on my phone. The captcha feature did not work when I tried to report the problem I was having. I emailed the developers but have not heard back from them.
Very good, but no Apple Watch app
I switched over from the Weight Watchers app to Healthi about 2 weeks ago and I have absolutely no regrets. The UX is just so much better. It is clean, easy to use, everything is where I expect them to be. It is a great iOS app. On the content side of things, there is more than enough recipes for my needs. As for the ingredients database it is so far doing the job. I would however like to see Canadian restaurants in there; it is very US centric at the moment. For me to give it 5 stars, I'd want to have them get an Apple Watch app. I'd like to have a way to do quick entries from the Watch and to have a complication that shows my remaining points. Also, I have a smart body scale that is connecter to HealthKit. I'd like for the app to be able to pull my weight from HealthKit and not only offer to push it. Hopefully they'll add this at the same time as they add the step counts from HealthKit. Lastly, it's great to be able to search and filter recipes, but it would be so much better if I could filter for a number of points or a range of points!
Glitchy
The app is either glitchy or the pathway from signing up to being able to access things inside the app is really off. I signed up for healthicare on yesterday. They took the money out for healthicare but I am unable to change the meal plan inside the healthy app to healthi fresh now that I am a paying member. It continuously goes to a sign up page to sign up for healthicare. I’m also unable to access the healthicare community group because it’s still saying that I need to join healthicare. The money out of my banking account proves that I joined healthicare so I am not sure why I still cannot access any of the features.
Some UX improvements would make this better
This is an over designed app and would benefit from looking at the LoseIt app to improve its usability. Key challenges: if I am eating basically the same breakfast every day, I shouldn’t have to re-enter the individual items and their specific quantities every time. I eat 2 eggs every day, why doesn’t it just save 2 eggs as a suggestion for me to quick add. It just shows all recent foods but with the “base” quantity, so I get suggestions like a glass of wine when I’m just trying to fill out my breakfast. This app also really struggles with visual hierarchy and it makes it challenging to read and scan. The food icons are incredibly distracting and have too much visual weight — they would be much better if they were simplified and less vibrant. Looks nice at first, but hard and frustrating to use.
Great app
I really love this app. I would have given 5 stars, if, it supported a fitness tracker, and, had a recipe builder.
BEWARE!!!
Beware of this app!! It only tracks GLP1 IF you purchase a GLP1 through them. Without knowing that I purchased the app (bc you have to pay for the app before you even browse it). When I quickly realized it wouldn’t do what it said it would & what I needed I immediately requested a refund & the told me I had to go through Apple. Apple said it was showing a 0.00 charge under my subscriptions & told me to contact my bank & report a fraudulent charge.
So far so good
So far I like the app. It’s a nice switch up from Loseit and Loseit style calorie trackers. Never being a part of WW this is all new to me. I am trying out the free version for now, but I am having trouble with logging the next day/tomorrow’s food in their proper categories, it also shows up also in the current/today’s category giving me extra points. I’m not too please with this bug.
Maybe I’m too old for this
So much white. So bright. I love the app (iTrackBites) but this new Healthi is visually difficult to handle. Sectioning with colours was great.
Very Different points than WW
I just started using this app again. Not at all sure about the points. On WW eggs are zero and 5 oz of white wine is 6 pts. On this app eggs are 1 point but 5 Oz of wine came up as 27!!!! Yikes.

I paid oodles for the WW app and was locked into a contract, and I didn’t like it nearly as much. I prefer the option to count calories instead of points. ITrackBites has everything I need to keep on track.
Don't pay for this
So i paid and honestly not happy i don't want my money back i just want to cancel my subscription for next year! so I contacted them because there is no way to cancel your subscription. I have not heard anything from them it's been a week or two now and honestly, I do not recommend just my opinion.
Modify to save time
I have lost 10lbs using mostly free features of this app! These are suggestions to make it 5*! Please include Canadian restaurants! Also would be helpful if when adding an entry that is commonly entered, that the other common items that are usually added together with it, could pop up as I’m typing, like MyFitnessApp. Eg: I usually eat oatmeal with peanut butter, apple sauce, hemp hearts in it. After or while typing oatmeal, the other options would automatically pop up so I could just click on them directly after. Would save time. Some of the recipes are atrocious- makes me wonder if anyone has even tried some of them- steps don’t make sense, or the recipe is oversimplified or steps are implied. Lastly, copying an item only allows to copy to the same meal for the day before/after. Ie having the same item for 2 dinners in a row. What if I was going to eat the item I ate for dinner, for lunch the next day instead, as leftovers? Just need some modifications to save time.
Could be better
This program is of very little use if you are a Canadian because most of the products we buy come from Canada ( thank God ) If they would come up with something for Canada it would be a great program.
Not a good start
The app keeps freezing as you are trying to scroll through food lists. It would be nice if there was an Apple Watch app.
