Brilliant App
All i can say that the developer has done a great job . I am using this application for my competitive exams current affairs preparation and the best thing here is the custom links which i feel was missing in other apps . I just have one suggestion if we could have the news in a reel format I mean a flowing card transition system , like we read one news then another . This will allow us to read and consume more . Thanks
Refund
This app is a rip off and it shouldn’t be on apple‘s App Store. Why pay for a news app when you can get it for free? I want my money refunded back. If I don’t get it refunded back I’m gonna report this app as a scam

I’m glad the tv app was finally fixed a few months ago, but — unlike its iPhone and iPad counterparts — it lacks a category section, and ONLY shows sports (ESPN and Sky Sports) news… which I care nothing about. Please implement a categories tab/section so that I can thoroughly enjoy the app.
Good in design and Ai features. But…
It is basically a paid app as each time I tried to read an article it says I have to pay (before it was with only the Ai) also the articles feel not as relevant and very company repetitive it isn’t very shuffled. And honestly I believe there are other option with better or similar use… Particle…
Apple Watch app needs options
I tried this specifically for the Apple Watch support. Right now my RSS apps don't sync across devices so I was hoping this would work to replace them. It's very AI forward which is not what I'm interested in. On the Apple Watch, tapping an article tries to load the entire website instead of a watch-friendly reader view. Most times the website won't load at all, and so it's not possible to read the full article which defeats the purpose. I'll have to continue looking for a solution
Fantastic app for news and/or RSS
Ability to customize is great; feed level and article level summaries are well done and quick.
Just freezes
Now the app just freezes on start up. When I disable all network connectivity, it freezes again even after a cache reset.
Wish it would run on Big Sur
I like this app on iOS, it works well and is a welcome addition to my iPhone and iPad. I do wish that it was not restricted to OS 13 , as I have 2 devices limited by their age and Intel chipsets to Big Sur (11.7.10) If it would run on my Mac, I would definitely give 5 stars...
Appealing concept, partially realized
Love the idea of summarized articles but this is missing a few important beats that I hope they improve on. 1) no way to indicate like / dislike articles in For You to help fine tune the list ongoing 2) no way to feedback on length, completeness of summaries. Many are too brief and miss key points relevant for a summary, making reading the full article much more necessary and defeating the app’s purpose.
Good
The app is good but I have it as a widget on my Home Screen. In other rss reader the widget autonomously feed new headline into the widget, heading the preview. In this case I have to tap the widget and after tapping, pull to refresh. The widget has to refresh itself, and by tapping it, open the fresh new article, after exiting the article pull the top fresh stories imho EDIT: the widget now refresh itself (but always after long time). In addition if you customise your Home Screen (in example with dark tint icons black and white tint) the article picture is totally white.
Great apps
Love the interface. The next toggle is really noice. A lot of sources. The AI summary is a cool feature. Great job!!
Ugly app
I’m not a big fan of how the feeds are displayed in the boxed squares. It seems like the developers could use some modern design skills to improve the app’s appearance.
Great idea but to be improved
The idea is solid, but there’s room for improvement. For example, the smart summary could be enhanced, or it would be helpful to allow users to choose the length of the summary. Additionally, I would suggest providing full articles already translated into the desired language, not just in English.
Takes over .ics files
It automatically becomes the default handler for .ics files so Calendar events don’t open in the correct app.

App che uso ogni giorno, c’è il backup iCloud, l’ho installata su iPad e non ho gli rss che ho salvato. Disintallata da iPad. Risolvere per favore.
Bulletin: A clean and an aesthetic RSS news feed aggregator
The main attraction point of this app has to be its visually clean and aesthetic user interface, with built in RSS Feeds from various popular News sites with an option to add custom RSS Feeds as well. The AI summary feature is another big plus, overall a 5/5 app.
Poor UI on iPad
Update: I tried the free trial period and have determined that the AI summaries are very poor. They don’t summarize the main point of the article. It merely summarizes the beginning of articles which often do not get to the main point of the article in the first few paragraphs. The iPad still has the same horrendous UI with no customization in the app. —— I continually do not understand why RSS apps don’t use the full iPad screen in portrait orientation for reading articles. It should at least be an option to hide the sidebar. This issue alone makes it a hard pass from me. This app looks good at first, but after just a few minutes you realize how restrictive it is. It doesn’t allow you to hide categories and you can’t customize feeds beyond hiding them. It also doesn’t allow adding any feeds either as far as I can tell. And a personal nitpick of mine: I much prefer opening articles in Safari Reader view by default. It's a better UX in my opinion and provides consistency across the OS. It should at least be offered as option as some other apps do.

Notifications are … not good
“A new notification has been posted” is not the type of notification I want went a new article gets posted, why can’t it show the title and the content of the posts like other rss apps?
Need better filtering
The stories are not curated at all. You’d have to do a lot of work to make it yours.
Do not buy
The app on the mac does not have 1/3 of the settings options. The app on ips is low to update and does not retain the read status of articles. The list goes on. If you know the history of this developer with apps such as Planny, (abandoned then sold along with many apps on his website) Aviary, (abandoned then replaced with Aviary 2). You will not trust the developer to continue the development of this app. Think about this, how will they pay for yhe AI features over time if someone purchases a lifetime subscription? The answer can be found in their prior work. Save your money and use feeeed.
No font size options
So tired of text-centric apps such as this where all you do is read text and yet there is NO WAY to change the font size of the article text, even using iOS app-specific font size feature. What is the deal with these devs? It’s like making a car without the ability to adjust the seats. Unbelievable. Navigation from the tiny text article view is horrible. No way to swipe to next article or even dismiss the pop-up view. No easy way to mark articles as read. No mark read on scroll. This is just horrible… go check out other apps like Inoreader or Readkit and copy their main reading features. Then build off of that with your AI. Add more voice options. The default iOS voice is unbearable. Also your price is too high for what this offers. I like the idea of this which is why I care to leave such a review and it’s a great start to something amazing. It is just unusable… for me. Main gripes are above. Fix the problems and I’ll change this to a glowing 5 star review. UPDATE TO YOUR RESPONSE: No, you can’t. It does not change article font size which was my point.

Super slow and glitchy at times
Great concept but in my usage I notice a lot of slow updates and/or the app appears to hang on a blank screen.
TV app is not working..

Excellent except on Apple Vision Pro
Ever since the amount of articles have been increased in conjunction with the smart summaries feature, I’ve really come to appreciate how well this app filled the void left by Artifact. Mobile version is excellent - feature rich and full of useful gestures. It needs a history section to keep track of articles I’ve clicked on. Sometimes I need to pick up where I left off! Apple Vision Pro is currently not a good experience. Whenever I’m scrolling, it will randomly jump me back to the top of the feed! Or sometimes when I'm scrolling through the feed, I will accidentally select the scroll wheel and fling my feed around. The scrolling needs to be looked into. I think there needs to be more space between controls so they don’t accidentally get selected. Anyway mostly positive experience, just needs some refinement on AVP.
Nope
No Inoreader/Feedly sync Everything in the UI is just too big. Looks like it was designed for the elderly. Not enough information density. Useless button on the bottom to scroll down when you can just scroll. AI button on the main page is summarizing the top article, not the feed. Super weird to have that button there. Turn off categories disables them, but it looks weird because it doesn’t toggle off all the feeds under them as you would expect. Feels very half-baked. Might revisit in in a year, but it’s just a first draft of an app right now.
Clear potential…but still has a long way to go.
I love the idea behind this app. The care and attention to the UX is clear. Appreciate push notifications, iCloud syncing, and the full Apple ecosystem support. If you want a basic “already configured”news/RSS app, Bulletin fits the bill. Which leads to what’s missing… It’s missing some critical things for long-time RSS users though: * Yes, you can import in your own OPML feeds, but organizing them and essentially wiping the slate clean to just bring my familiar feeds in my own organization style…that’s a daunting process. So much so, that I gave up for now. * It doesn’t appear to offer options to use Postlight or Readability to parse/extract articles from feeds that only provide headlines, but admittedly I only tested a couple of feeds with this. * Customizing notifications in a more granular way by feed, number of topics, or keywords would be a lovely addition. * Hierarchical sorting beyond a single category. * Customizing the sidebar area. This is an opinionated app…I love that about it. It’s just not quite my aesthetic. Longtime users of Reeder or News Explorer are going to enjoy the UX, long for the AI summarization features that come natively here, but struggle to embrace a paradigm that wants you to do things the Bulletin way instead of the way you’ve become accustomed to in other RSS apps. That’s not a bad thing, but I do long for significantly more customization features in feed organization, hierarchy, parsing, update times, and a “just start from a clean slate and import my stuff and don’t add anything to it” option. I’d happily spend money on this app if it evolves in that direction. For now…I will envy some of the summarization features but go back to my trusted long-time RSS apps.
Works great!
Bulletin is truly a game-changer for individuals like myself who enjoy concise news updates. What I love most is its ability to summarize stories effectively in short bursts. The user interface design is also incredibly appealing. However, while the app is fantastic, there’s always room for improvement. It would be amazing to see more features implemented, such as text-to-speech conversations and adjustable font sizes. Overall, Bulletin AI News is a powerful and versatile app that I highly recommend. I would also love to get in touch with the developer, as I'm working on Bigscreen, a streaming service for Apple Vision Pro. I attempted to contact you earlier today via Twitter; however, it may have ended up in your spam folder.

Beautiful news app
I wish we could use Safari built-in reader mode for some custom sources that don’t display content properly. It would be great to have a top headlines view too. Then it would definitely be an app that would make me delete all my other news apps and worthy of 5 stars.
Smart summary?
Smart summary is not working, at all. The only thing that sets this apart from other news apps. Also, please consider ditching the subscription model for a single time price, or at least make that an option.
Imported icon does nothing?
I’ve installed on iPhone , iPad, and my Mac. iPhone works but on iPad and MacBook the icon for imported in the sidebar does nothing when clicked. Luckily the Mac has the view menu at top and dropdown to imported from their works but no such view bar on iPad so you only have the imported icon in sidebar which as stated doesn’t work. Uninstalled and reinstalled but still the same. It’s a great app and very refreshing news feed viewing. Alongside Reeder this is now my go to and together I have it covered. Hopefully the Dev will sort this out for iPad and Mac. Thanks. EDIT 9th May 2024: Updates since I first left a review have been great but to be honest I don’t look forward to opening as it’s very miss than hit. On my iPhone and iPad I open it up on general all news icon and just get blank screen and spinning icon. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. It’s become absolutely unpredictable as to if it’ll load up actual news or anything. Even if I open up the ‘jump to’ part to load another area, say tech or even my imports, then it does the same, just blank screen. Strange thing is when the start-up blank screen happens or if I try to open another section I can press the AI summarise icon and get a summary of that section even though the screen is still blank and spinning wheel!? Go figure 😂. I’m on newest iOS iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPad Pro 12.9 M1. I’ve not tried with Mac as I said earlier I just get frustrated more than excited on opening it now. I’ll wait and see if any of future updates change it but to be honest I’m not using it now as one of my main news readers purely because of the issues I’m experiencing. Obviously it could just be my system and it’s perfect on others as otherwise the Dev would’ve realised so I really don’t know what else to do. Sorry for long winded write up but I wanted to be as open and give as much information as possible. Anyways thanks very much for it as when’ it works it’s brilliant as I’ve said before it was one of my main go to news readers.
Good Alternative to Artifact

UI is dreadful, no iCloud sync
I have the iOS app (which has its own set of issues) but so does the macOS app. I have iCloud Sync enabled, yet it didn't sync any of my subscriptions from iOS. Why is the settings panel so tiny? Open the tiny settings panel, then click "Go to settings" and there's no way to exit this Siri prompt. I had to force close the app. No font size options. Horrible UI. No way to resize panels. It's like the dev slapped this together and hoped for the best. Stop trying to support every known Apple device and focus on one (iOS) and try to make it usable please. This is just unusable.
Great but some issues
I am on iPhone - I really like this app however the toggles in each category seem to do nothing - my feed doesn’t change based on which publications I choose to select or not. Can this be fixed? Additionally I can’t add any feeds - import does work however when trying to add additional URLs in the ‘paste X feed URL’ field, it does nothing. Can this also be fixed please? If these two issues are fixed this will probably become my go to news app.
Needs better customization of sources
It’s like if a music app only had 10 selected bands and no easy way to make your own playlists. The presentation is pleasant so hopefully the app will expand its capabilities.

Wonderful app that works across all devices. Lets you import your own feeds via OPML. Just needs a way to make text larger for those of us with older eyes.
Such Promise, but now it’s just Bricked
I had VERY high hopes that I could replace Artifact. I read news all day long and need a great news aggregator. With a few tweaks Bulletin could have been it. But now, I’m stuck. I changed some setting that was only for paid I guess and now I can’t click on any article to read it. I sent a request to create a rest button for standard settings, but that has yet to appear. So I’m stuck. I can’t read any articles with out the “pay now” pop up. I would TOTALLY pay for Artifact and was prepared to pay for Bulletin, but I just needed more time to feel comfortable with the app before plunking down the lifetime license. Since this app is essentially bricked with no guidance on how to get out of it, it gets 1 star.
Really great v1; tons of potential
Love that this is truly a universal app, even on tvOS. That being said, the tvOS version is pretty weak and close to non-functional. Still worth four stars and went ahead and bought the life-long option; consider it an investment into future development. 😉
Good effort but falls so short…
Tile per story consumes so much space, that even on the smallest setting you are only ever able to see 3 maybe four headlines at a time, so be prepared for tons of scrolling. Font sizes also too large, and no way to just show headlines without parts of the article. No way to search Duplicates and similar topics continue to expand feed. Thought this was about smarts, so should be seeing d duplicates, and similar topics would be combined? Smart off not RSS readers need to be light mobile and easy to scan lots of headlines quickly, which bulletin does not support.
Need Chinese and Japanese
It would be nice to be able to set up automatic summaries and beautify the headline language. I need Chinese and Japanese. I would definitely buy it if it was available in both languages.

Great design, usability improving with frequent updates
When I first installed this app I was a fan of the UI/UX. It’s very clean. At first - I was experiencing several bugs and suboptimal performance. After the past few days, these issues are becoming non existent. The developer seems to ship updates 1-2 times daily and welcomes feedback/suggestions.
Duplicate Stories
It would be nice to eliminate stories with the same subject / context from each feed — otherwise it’s a great app!
ok first try
meh first impression… lots of loading spinners, no ability to search and add by site name or URL (only by RSS URL), persistent header wasted where it could show what category or source you’re viewing, odd list of default sources, no way to reorder or prioritize categories or sites, no thumbnail images.
Promising start but not there yet
Crearly an MVP. Needs a fremium option instead of a very short trial. Usability is poor to impossible on on an iPad mini but normal on an iPad air or iPhone. Thumbs up for frequent updates to improve features and usability. Didn't really got a chance to test out the AI features.
