Very nice app and excellent user support!
Exactly what I am looking for. They have an excellent user support. They are very dedicated to supporting users. I have bought the lifetime subscription, and so far I am really happy.
8/1/2024 Still doesn’t work
Update: the developer sent me a response a Saying it’s been fixed, it still doesn’t work. Closed it out out and tried again still doesn’t work. iPhone 14 Pro Just has the screen perpetually loading and then it says “something went wrong” with a retry button.
initial onboarding screen is slow
Screen doesn't work past first one, can't access easily
Improvement Idea
Needs a better back button on the bottom or swipe to go back after reading an article.
Tailored News
Let me know news really hits it out of the park with their AI filtered news summaries. With the deluge of news on the Internet, informed readers need to be supplied with the information to make the best decisions. With Let Me Know news you can do that!
Something went wrong….
After 20 minutes of errors. I’m giving up. Total waste of time. Free or not. After an email from the dev advising the issues of 29th July were sorted out I reinstalled the all and wasted more time with “…something went wrong” I’m done.
Ai总结可以翻译成中文的嘛？
英语的看不懂
The dev seems busy or ignore the app
No new recent updates, please update and fix its bugs, there are a ton of things have to be improve. I really love the app idea, that's why I still support it. Just expect the dev takes a serious effort to make this app better day by day.
Finally a News Source I Can Use!
I was so happy to find this app — it helps me get the news I am interested in reading quickly and I can learn what I want to know, fast. I don’t have to wade through all the garbage news I am not interested in, first. I sometimes find a few spelling or grammar errors in the AI summaries once in a while but I am sure they will work to fix those soon. Thanks for this app!
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Saw this had a lifetime free available option but kept glitching when attempted to get offer. Therefor couldn’t get. Tried the day after and the offer was gone. One star and deleted.
AI summaries are often blatantly wrong
I really like the way the articles are presented, but the AI summaries, which you must navigate through first, are often very wrong. Stuff like “Elon Musk, CEO of Amazon,” or more often, attributing quotes to the opposite person, or mixing up who did what, for example, guy is told to turn down his music on the NYC subway, and guy playing music stabs the person who asked him to turn it down. The AI summary says the guy who was playing loud music was stabbed after not turning the music down. I am having a hard time trusting anything I read as at least 25% (or more) of the AI summaries are just flat out false information. I wish there was a way to not have the AI summaries at all because they are not ready yet for consumption.
Retry
This is my second review. Initially I had much difficulty with this app. I am happy to say that since the issues that led me to post a two star review have been resolved, I now post a 5 star review. LetMeKnow is definitely an AI generated news app. That being said, it has become my go-to app for world, national and local news reviews. Great job! I was able to log on to my iPhone and iPad using the same account by going to the “more” tab and clicking on “profile”. On my iPhone I used the number at the top of the screen and transferred the number to my iPad. Works like a charm. Many thanks to the developer for all of the help and improvements. Below is the initial review. Forget it! All problems have been resolved. This would be an outstanding app, if it would only work. I have two problems. When trying to log in to the app, I get “Something went wrong” and a “Retry” button. I have hit the Retry button many times, the app appears to think about it for 10-15 seconds then back to retry. Frustrating. Secondly, I placed this app on my phone and iPad. When trying to use it on the iPad, it wants me to purchase a subscription. I thought a purchase would transfer to all devices. Overall, when it works, it is a fantastic source of news. I know you had a difficulties recently. I’m hoping they will resolve soon.
Total scam bait & switch 🙈🥲🤮
AppAdvice offered it free on 7.29.24 (the lifetime no ads version) but it was NEVER ever actually free depending on your location Sad when greed ruins everything
Generally sluggish
Easy to delete channel but can’t get it back. No side bar indicator as to know end of page. Delete app and reload. The app has no memory bought it free for life and only give me free trial. RIDICULOUS
Install not working
Can’t select one topic, let alone three. Please fix. Currently working fine. They fixed it quickly! Great job.
Scam
Blocked the registration process during the free membership promotion. App won’t start, can’t get past the choose your topics screen which is blank and won’t refresh. There’s no way to bypass this and thus no way to run the app.
VoiceOver Accessibility
All on-screen elements should be labeled properly and the app should be optimized for use with VoiceOver.
Nice News app
During the setup I kept getting "something went wrong" error. The developers were experiencing issues which they fixed and updated me. Nice job
Not working
Your app doesn’t work. It keeps saying something went wrong and to try again. This is a poor app. Stay away.
The best news app ever
The news feed customization options are fantastic. This would be the best news app ever created except the feeds frequently time out. I really hope this is temporary due to growing pains of an unexpectedly popular new app. Please resolve these issues so I can give the app five stars.
The developer was very responsive to server issues
Thanks for responding so quickly to the server issue. Very impressed.
Cannot load
Saw this on AppAdvice today and tried to load the app…everytime I get to the second page it indicates there was a problem...and “try again” Any suggestions?
希望支持简体中文
看了看，上商店一年了也没有支持简体中文。希望开发者考虑支持简体中文，毕竟很多人不懂英语。期待
Great job!
Thank you.
Broken
This app is bricked. Going through setup I have to select three items of interest, but the items will not display. The screen just displays the spinning symbol. Junk!
Navigating
Needs Apple navigation shortcuts, like swipe back and top tap
Great news app
This app allows you to choose from many feeds and allows you to choose a political bias if you want. It is a quick way to keep updated on you interests.
Retry
It took me 3 tries on my iphone to get past the selection screen. Can't get pass it on my ipad. No matter what I type, keep seeing retry. Would be great if there was a restore avail ahead of that screen to pull the choices from my iphone
Awesome
After some hiccups and issues with the app, the team reached out to me and notified me that it was fixed. It works great!
Junk!!!
Will not load on either my iPhone or iPad Just errors out! Deleted on both devices.
