Amazing way of hiring
Absolute headache
Signed up for Hertz 24/7 to help me with my move in London. The sign up process was quick and efficient and I managed to book a van for a Sunday afternoon 5 days ahead. I turned up at the B&Q Peckham site and was unable to locate any of the vans. There is no number to call, so I sat through 7 spots in the queue over half an hour on the live chat in the car park, only to be told there were no vehicles available whatsoever, nor for the Greenwich site. Apparently vehicles are assigned 15 minutes prior to booking and simply nothing was available, regardless of me pre-booking the slot. I planned my entire move around this booking and had time constraints, as one normally would have when renting a van for a couple of hours. I was merely offered a refund (which is still pending) and had to seek alternative transport elsewhere, which was very difficult on a Sunday. I will not be using this service again and would advise anyone that relies on a booking to seek a rental elsewhere.

Durch Regentropfen auf dem Display wurde die Abgabe unübersichtlich und führte zu einer fehlerhaften Eingabe.
Alte App besser
Die alte App war übersichtlicher. Ändern um des Ändern willens? Manchmal funktioniert die Auswahl eines Carpool Standortes nicht. Man klickt auf den Standort um ihn auszuwählen. Die App zoomt aber lediglich heran und wählt ihn nicht aus. Zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt klappt es dann plötzlich. Die alte App lief einwandfrei!

Miete konnte nicht verlängert werden
Ich wollte die Miete um 1 Stunde verlängern aber die App lies es nicht zu. Der Grund wurde nur teilweise angezeigt und konnte nicht komplett gelesen werden.

Great when it works
Really handy when it works to pick up a van for a few hours outside bnq. Unfortunately it appears to have logged me out and doesn’t recognise my number when I try to log in with no option to register.

Dreadful app
impossible to use, doesn’t say what’s gone wrong with application and why. Doesn’t tell you it’s been rejected. Doesn’t delete account when you ask to delete. Very poorly built app and the verification doesn’t work at all

Von Hertz erwartet man eigentlich eine professionelle anwenderfreundliche app. Wir saßen 2 mal im auto und musste 10 minuten warten, weil das auto die wegfahrsperre immer neu aktiviert. Leider findet man die deaktivierungstaste nirgends in der app (total versteckt). Und man kriegt auch keine fehlermeldung im auto, warum der wagen nicht anspingt.

Awful and unusable
Forced to update the app because haven’t used in a while. Ok. Update is completely unusable. Error messages dominate and certainly can’t be used as intended. I’ll actively book vans with another company now. Do better Hertz. It’s 2026.

L’app n’arrête pas de planter et sa logique est incompréhensible. Franchement déçu pour une entreprise comme Hertz de lancer des app aussi nulle !
App is glitchy
The idea behind the app is great but it exits forms randomly. Also, payment can be duplicated because of the lagging payment page and it didn’t match the amount shown on screen before clicking pay - i was charged more for an extension of my rental.

I needed a gate and two large poles from b&q there was a hertz van parked up o registered gave my id paid and was off with my large items returned the vehicle simple easy service thank you hertz
Absolute rubbish
App doesn’t work, made a booking online and not appearing in my bookings. Support is pretty much not existent
24/7 hourly van hire
It was a good experience. The flexibility is great. Easy to navigate app. One thing what should be improve is gate code. Id didnt work for me. I had van book for 06;30 am. Noone to help me until 07:00 am chat open. Maybe auto reseting code? Thank you

J’ai eu la mésaventure de réserver un camion plateau chez Hertz, quelle idée ! Application assez simple et intuitive mais camion très peu entretenu ( voyons allumer de partout organes de sécurité assez moyen ) Initialement prévu pour trois heures j’ai prolongé de deux heures à 16,90€/ l’heure Je me suis retrouvé à devoir payer 170 € pour 200 km Tout est fait pour gruger le consommateur comme par exemple l’indication de l’autonomie du véhicule qui n’est pas l’autonomie autorisée durant la location bien évidemment Et je passe Toute autre type de subtilité contractuelles après avoir lu les petites lignes Alors si vous allez faire des courses à Leroy Merlin et que vous vous retrouvez bloqué pour dépanner ça peut être utile si vous habitez à 10 minutes et vous faites une location d’une heure ( et encore si vous comprenez comment fonctionne le système d’anti démarrage ) sinon vraiment à fuir Un concurrent type Europcar le même type de camion pour 95 € la journée avec 300 km d’autonomie Votre tarif est juste honteux C’est dommage de miser sur le One Shot plutôt que de fidéliser vos clients

Die App funktioniert an sich soweit ganz gut ich kann da eigentlich nichts klagen aber ich muss zwei Sterne abziehen, weil die auf meinem 17 Pro Max aussieht, als wäre die für irgendwelche kleinen Handys gemacht. Dieser schwarze Balken oben und unten er erinnert mich damals an den Übergang vom iPhone 4 zu 5, als die Apps noch nicht angepasst waren..:

Não consegui abrir as portas, esperei 1h30 pela assistência. A viatura estava suja a traz. Prolongara-me o tempo para a frente.
Auto geht nicht auf
Registrierung lief reibungslos aber dann ließ sich das Auto nicht über die App öffnen. Erst 5min mit der KI im Chat geredet und probiert Fehler zu finden. Es hieß dann es meldet sich jemand….dann gab man mir eine Nummer. Dort war ich stand jetzt 10min in der Warteschlange. Alles in allem ernüchternd wenn man ein enges Zeitfenster hat und dann 30min schon mal fehlen weil das Auto sich nicht öffnen.

Took double the money
Scanned the QR code on the side of the van. Setting up your account is very time consuming. You can’t upload your documents from your photo album, so had to go home so I could scan them. In your agreement you can’t return the van with less than 25% fuel, my van was well into the red! Back was also very dusty, not ideal when picking up a carpet. Lastly, rental was £20, including insurance, Hertz have charged me £40 and have no idea why. That makes this very expensive, it’s only £80 to rent this size van for 24 hours. Won’t be using agin.
Alguns Inconvenientes
A aplicação tem um bug que não permite a devolução da carrinha (no meu caso). Causa algum transtorno mas nada significativo, pois nas condições do serviço tem um numero telefónico grátis que resolve estes problemas. A minha primeira experiência não correu muito bem mas o apoio ao cliente funciona e respeita os clientes. Por tudo isto vou continuar a usar a app quando necessário, acredito que estão interessados em melhorar.

waste of time
I have booked one van for house moving at 11 am, when I reach there I haven't got the agreement to sign,, contacted customer service through live chat waiting too long to get the reply, they told me they haven't assigned any van for me .and finally around 11:45 I got a van , when I opened the loading space it's full of rubbish. Contacted them again waited long and they told they haven't got any other options because no other van available,so they have to cancel the booking, I finally locked the van and gone to home at 12:35. live chats talking too mich time to get the reply I have taken off from work for my house moving, I got some friends to help with moving,, they have wasted everyone's time.

We completed all the steps to verify our identity, the app shows everything is verified but the booking fails to start. Customer service won’t respond to our messages. Now we’ve had to sort a last minute alternative.
